The long-awaited Nothing phone has arrived at Verkkokauppa.com

Verkkokauppa.com is adding the hyped Nothing phone (1) to its selection, becoming the only retailer in Finland alongside mobile operator Elisa. Following last year's launch of the Nothing ear (1) noise-canceling earbuds, the company is now taking a long-awaited step toward shaking up the smartphone market. Pre-orders for the new phone begin on July 12, 2022.

The Nothing brand is led by Carl Pei, who rose to fame as the co-founder of OnePlus before leaving the company in October 2020. OnePlus phones were originally known for their exceptional value for money, a proven formula that continues with Nothing. Carl Pei is now bringing a polished and powerful new device to the market, with Nothing phone (1) prices starting at just €499 (8/128 GB).

"By joining forces with leading operators and retailers, we look forward to shaking up the smartphone market together. We can't wait to reveal the Nothing phone (1) to the world today," says Carl Pei, CEO and Co-founder of Nothing.

A fast, smooth, and personal user experience in a recycled aluminum frame

The Nothing smartphone features Nothing OS, which is based on the Android operating system and includes Google services. The device integrates with the software through custom fonts, colors, graphics, and sounds. It also features wireless charging and a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. However, the phone (1) truly stands out from its competitors with its intriguing design.

"The Nothing phone (1) is a very welcome breath of fresh air in the somewhat monotonous Android market. The phone stands out with its exceptional design; the transparent back cover is eye-catching and gives the device a futuristic look. Integrated LED light strips on the back provide a unique way to alert the user to notifications and incoming calls," says Juha Orava, Product Manager at Verkkokauppa.com.

The new phone will be introduced to the public during a Keynote presentation on July 12, 2022, after which five different Nothing phone (1) models will be available for pre-order starting at 7:00 PM.
