Verkkokauppa.com expands one-hour delivery to Tampere, Turku, and Oulu – thousands of products delivered to your door in an hour in partnership with Wolt.

Verkkokauppa.com is expanding its fastest delivery service outside the Helsinki metropolitan area for the first time, launching one-hour deliveries in Tampere, Turku, and Oulu in partnership with Wolt. Customers can now have up to 5,000 products from the Pirkkala, Raisio, and Oulu stores delivered to their doorstep within an hour during store opening hours.

In Tampere, one-hour delivery covers 11 postal codes, while the Turku and Oulu regions include 15 and 13 postal codes, respectively*.

“One-hour deliveries have been a popular service in the Helsinki area, but there has been significant demand for ultra-fast shipping elsewhere as well. We can now offer our extensive and diverse product range to customers in Tampere, Turku, and Oulu with revolutionary speed,” says Verkkokauppa.com Sales Director Pekka Litmanen.

Changing the way people shop – even outside the capital region

Starting at €6.99, one-hour delivery allows customers to order everything from everyday essentials to small electronics, with a weight limit of up to 20 kg.

Currently, the one-hour delivery selection in Tampere, Turku, and Oulu includes approximately 5,000 of the most popular products from local Verkkokauppa.com stores. According to Litmanen, the selection will be further developed based on customer feedback. The Pirkkala, Raisio, and Oulu stores have the capacity to potentially double the range of products available for one-hour delivery in the near future.

“In Finland, there is a rapidly growing trend where customers want their online orders delivered as quickly as possible, straight to their door. The next step for domestic e-commerce is immediate delivery, and we want to offer this now—saving our customers the time it takes to visit a physical store. We are set to transform shopping habits outside the capital region with our one-hour delivery service,” says Litmanen.
