Verkkokauppa.com launches its fastest-ever deliveries in the Helsinki region – up to 60,000 products delivered to your door in under an hour.

Verkkokauppa.com has launched one-hour home deliveries in partnership with technology company Wolt. This new delivery method covers up to 85% of the company's product range and is available directly on the Verkkokauppa.com website. Initially, deliveries will be available across 44 zip codes* in Helsinki and Espoo.

Known for its extensive range of consumer electronics, Verkkokauppa.com is meeting the growing demand for fast deliveries by partnering with Wolt. We guarantee delivery to the customer's doorstep within one hour for orders placed during opening hours within a 7.5 km radius of the Helsinki store. Orders must be placed at least one hour before the store closes, with delivery prices starting at €7.49.

“Over the past year, we have invested significantly in an automated supply chain at our Helsinki location, enabling the market's fastest delivery for an unprecedentedly wide selection. We experimented with our first express deliveries back in the early 2000s, and this partnership is a natural step in our journey as a pioneer. We now have a delivery model that truly matches the speed of our online store,” says Verkkokauppa.com CEO Panu Porkka.

More than 300,000 people live within the new one-hour delivery area in Helsinki and Espoo.

“We want to offer consumers and businesses the best shopping experience on the market. Through our partnership with Wolt, we can now deliver the majority of our range—approximately 60,000 different products—significantly faster and more affordably than our competitors,” says Verkkokauppa.com Sales Director Pekka Litmanen.

The delivery method is available for products currently in stock at the Helsinki warehouse, covering items ranging from memory cards to microwave ovens.

“In addition to the AutoStore warehouse automation system, which streamlines product handling, the partnership centers on the Pickup Lockers opened at the Helsinki store last fall. These lockers now also allow Wolt's courier partners to collect orders for one-hour home delivery,” Litmanen concludes.

Aiming to expand one-hour home delivery to all Verkkokauppa.com stores

One-hour home delivery is based on the Wolt Drive service launched last year, which allows customers to order immediate delivery directly from the retailer's website. Deliveries are handled by Wolt's courier partners.

The partnership, which began on February 20, is planned to expand later to Verkkokauppa.com stores in Pirkkala, Raisio, and Oulu.
