5 tips for winter grilling

Can you grill in winter? Absolutely! Grilling in winter is very similar to summer, which is why more and more people are treating it as a year-round hobby. If you're interested in winter grilling, check out these top tips.

1. Winter grilling

Grilling in winter is practically the same as in summer. The biggest difference is your attire—make sure to wear a warm jacket and protect your hands with grilling gloves. Winter doesn't require a special grill; all models are suitable for year-round use.

Heating up the grill might take longer in winter, but it will still reach nearly the same temperatures as on a hot summer day. Regardless of the season, remember to clean your grill. The firebox under the grates, as well as the grease tray or drip pan, should be cleaned regularly. At the very least, clean the grates with a grill brush after every use.
