i bought these headphones like 2 weeks ago and i love them

Bought these to replace my ch250 sony on ear headphones, never got these off my head, the "wife cancelling" feature is amazing makes the dyson airram disappear completely..

allows you to hear whats going on and still play music / you tube.

The Base is amazing only thing i didnt like was its flimsy cloth covering the 40mm drivers but otherwise would def buy again, Love them.

Amazing sound quality and very comfortable. I hade to return as not suitable for wait lifting. The barbel kept touching the ear piece and changing the songs. I wish it had buttons.

i bought this about a week and a half ago and i only have good things to say. The active noise cancellation is excellent and would not be able to live without it.

Really impressed with these headphones. Absolutely brilliant for the price I paid. So many cool features like touch controls and especially mute when you cup the right earphone.

I first tried these headphones in store and, for me, they delivered by far the best bass quality compared to other brands at the same price point. Now I own a pair myself and have been using them for a few weeks. The sound quality remains decent and the various buttons/tap features on both ears are pretty straightforward to master. Likewise, it's easy to customize sound settings via the app to suit your preferences. The fit of the headphones is snug but not too tight. I haven't had a chance to properly test out the noise cancelling features, but so far I'm a happy customer.

Generally happy with these headphones, ANC could be a bit better, this may be related to the fit when wearing glasses.

Excellent headphones, good passive noise exclusion and excellent active noise cancelling.

Comfortable and light weight, good battery power.

Excellent microphone function for video conference and phone use.

Active noise cancelling still available when wired so better for aeroplane use.

Actually, I was looking for headphones with high-quality sound and effective noise cancellation. Before buying this one, I purchased two other headphones, but I was not satisfied with their performance. Now, I have this one and use it for about three hours a day for listening to music and even answering phone calls, and it has been great. Based on my experience, it has been a worthwhile purchase.

Strengths:

• Sound (beefy, bass-heavy, punchy; tested and approved for a mix of metalcore, rap, industrial hip hop and trap metal).
• ULT mode has 2 levels + can be turned off completely for more neutral sound. Even as little as ULT lvl 1 on +4 (out of 10) feels like a lot and covers all my needs.
• Comfort. I'm comparing with XM3 and XM4, and ULT are seriously more comfortable. They have roomier cups and enough padding on top, and clamping force is enough to remove part of the pressure from the top of the head. But that could not work for everyone, see more details below.
• They are also very good to use in the wind with ANC on. ANC itself is solid, close to XM4.
• Connect with the speed of light. I re-pair them all the time between my devices, they are very fast.
• Price. I was ready to buy Sony's headliners, but ULT ended up being better in sound and comfort. Other than that, even for the full price, it's a steal.
  
  

More details:

• This kind of sound is not for everyone, that's for sure. These will not deliver neutral, balanced sound: instead, they're all about punch, slam and fun.
• Battery feels weaker than XM4, maybe around 25 hours. For my use case, still above acceptable.
• Cups padding can feel too warm, I wouldn't use these headphones for sports.
• Clamping force is much stronger than XM4. Can need some adjustment, but might be a problem for those who prefer a lighter fit.
• Appearance. They are white, but muted white, not white-white, with slightly darker padded elements. I was concerned about bright logos on promo photos, but in real life they just look silver. Maybe would be more visible on the black model, but on white, they look fine.
• No big open metal parts - important for winter. There are two elements on the length adjustment parts vs full plates on the same places on XM4 (those already worked in winter).
• Package. They come with a hardshell case (pretty much identical to the one XM4 were shipped with). White headphones model comes with dark graphite case, which is kinda important if you plan carrying them around.
• Sensor controls on the right cup work well. I used to trigger XM4 ones all the time accidentally, which doesn't happen with these.
• They are actually available for testing at Helsinki store: highly recommend, good environment to check both the sound and the ANC.
  
  

They sound much beefier than XM6, and also are way more comfortable. XM6 failed completely in aforementioned genres while these are holding strong, which, considering the price, is very surprising. XM6 also ended up being way less comfortable due to their flawed design pretty much all around (the pressure points on cups - they're only pressed at the top, leaving the bottom part of the cup more loose, the top part with almost zero padding, etc.).

These have enough, sometimes more than enough padding, and the cups pressure is even top to bottom due to a more standard overall design, so they don't squash the temples yet keep a good seal for ANC and sound to work as expected.

As a happy XM3 and XM4 owner (I had 3 pairs of them in a row), I was ready to buy XM6, but ULT Wear are just straight up better in all the categories I need.

This is not a new model, so I'm seriously considering purchasing another pair just to have them stacked for the future.

Was abit hesitant about buying bigger earphones but I definitely don't regret it. They are amazing quality, and the sound is fantastic

I was looking for a new pair of headphones that are comfy to wear and have a good battery life. These are even better than I’d hoped, plus the active noise cancellation feature is brilliant! They’re super comfy, easy to use and are better quality than a lot of higher end/more expensive headphones. I also got a great discount on the Sony website and my headphones arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered them, at no extra cost!

I was given mine as a birthday present and I love them.

Have been using daily for a few days and they are still at 90%. Noise cancelling is really good although I had to turn off the “auto” version. It kept turning off while I was working around the house and I found it distracting. It’s easy to do in the app, which downloads quickly and simple to use. Microphone works great too. Really recommend!
