[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The red trackpoint seem to be hard plastic and soft plastic a little confusing based on the description on the internet.

These caps replace the cap that came on my husband's ThinkPad X1.

But. These 3mm slightly domed caps don't hold up like the caps they used to make (with the larger hole underneath) for his older laptop models. He's been using a new cap on his X1 for about a month and it's already losing some of the grippiness on the dome.

As an aside, it's a shame they no longer make the cup shaped caps in this size - he was extremely happy with those.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No moving parts. These made my grungy looking thinkpad look new again. (At least the pointer)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality nubs, with a great price. Order them right away with a new thinkpad

I am completely trackpoint-dependent. That's why I use exclusively Lenovo laptops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Short of popping off in the first place (I'm assuming user error) it was an inexpensive and easy fix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are exactly what one expect them to be. I've used Lenovo Thinkpads from when they were IBM Thinkpads and the TrackPoint is one of the reasons for that longevity. I've also worn out more or lost more than a few of these caps. These particular caps work well with at least the X1 Carbon Gen 11.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install and adequately replaced my worn out cap. Wish that they sold them in smaller quantities. I believe I have enough caps for the rest of my life now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ThinkPad 3.0 mm TrackPoint Cap Set (10pk) is a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trackpoint caps came very promptly and at a fair price. I'm glad the support is there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My trackpoint had gotten slippery so I ordered this package of trackpoints to replace it. The nubs are great and it's easy to change the old out for the new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits T16 Gen 2 Thinkpad. These are different then the old caps I used to use, but are very comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Treat yourself to a new TrackPoint ! You'll be surprised how much better touch you'll get by replacing the old crusty one. This package of 10 will allow you to share a few with friends. Just be aware: older ThinkPads use a similar looking Track point but with a larger "socket" on the bottom. These are the replacement TrackPoints with the smaller socket used on newer Thinkpads.

These fit my X1 Carbon Gen 7 and it feels like a new computer. Better grip of the new cap actually decreased the pressure necessary to move the cursor and so reduced drift and allowed me to turn down the sensitivity.

The cap is shorter than the original cap. Would be more effective if it was higher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid trackpoint caps for my X1 Extreme gen 4. Fit perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect replacements. I use my trackpoint exclusively and wear these out so it is great to have good replacements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect fit and operation for my amazing ThinkPad. I'm truly committed to the Lenovo TrackPoint .

Spare Trackpoints for ultra-book form factor Thinkpads who have owners who use the Trackpoint a lot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The track-point caps I received work perfectly. The one I had been using had not been changed in years, and it was a relief to get so many replacements in a timely way and very fair price. The new caps are actually slightly shorter than the original, but it was simple to fit one on, and the traction it provides is more than adequate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The replacement cap set is a great deal and improve the tactile feal of your trackpoint after prolonged use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works exactly as advertised. Took a little long to ship.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits my Thinkpad X1 Tablet Gen 3. They're a different style than the one included with the tablet, but it seems to track better than the original.

It was easy to get help from support but still got the wrong size. These are to small they don’t fit. I need a larger size the whole is to small. X1 carbon when they 1st came out .
