Sony FE 28-60mm F4–5,6 OSS -zoomobjektiivi

A lightweight but great performer.

Covers a modest but highly useable range.

My only issue is the ‘lens unlock’ feature. I really don’t get on with this thing.

Bought as a kit lens and it makes the camera immediately useable.

I feel it’s a better fit than the other kit option.

What an excellent little lens for general use. It may be a variable aperture, but everything at f5.6 or f8 looks sharp, even in the corners. Very light and so small when retracted, I can now use an old holster bag with my A7iii with this lens attached. The only draw back is that it does not have a hood, but glare does not seem to be a problem, so far. There are third party hoods that do fit available.

Great for family shots and general walkabout purposes.

Very sharp, excellent focus, colour and contrast. 5*

I bought this lens for use with my Sony A7c and love it. It’s sharp, compact and light. Wish it was a 24mm wide end but you can’t have everything. For the money paid I’m really happy and attached to the A7c it’s really light and portable. A+++

Bought as a bundle with A7C body, it is ideal when I want to walk around with a small camera (no big lenses). Excellent quality.

Its tiny, light, feels flimsy and cheap - BUT it takes great images (even on an a7r4) and is no problem to carry any time. As a bonus - it works really well throughout the zoom range in infrared - sharp and no hotspots.

Glad I bought it with the camera camera body, was in two mind first. but as a travel lens to a full frame mirrorless body its extraordinary results are surprising

Having shot on Canon cameras my entire life I’ve made the move to Sony and now I must begin to start collecting glass again I bought the Sony a7c with this kit lens to get me started and I’m so impressed with the sharpness it’s obviously not great in low light but for well lit situations produces great results

Very light and compact lens but good quality. Ideal for walking and mountaineering when size and weight are important.

The biggest disadvantage for me is that the zoom ring rotates the wrong way, the opposite way to the on/off lever, so I almost always turn it to the 60mm end to turn it off and then have to turn it back.

I am very happy with the lens, also because it is so light. The only flaw is that it does not come with a hood.
