These shelves seem to be of high-quality and would be quite functional if they were a little longer in depth. When extended to a shelf, there is not much room to set anything on top of them with the grill cover closed you get about 4 inches of space due to the grill handle being in the way.

Nice idea, good looking, but very flimsy, with a design that should be beefed up.

Easy to install, functionality is fine I’m not putting a lot of weight on it. Really wish it came in black to match the stealth.

Great looking and classic Weber style. Would love if the folding table was able to support more weight.

Pretty much need this shelf space on Smoke Fire Grills. Should be standard on these grills.

These folding shelves are an excellent addition to the Smokefire. Makes it so easy when changing from rack to pans. Prevents spills. Well worth the money!

So far very happy with it take your time putting it together and study the directions and do exactly what they say I’m one of those guys that glance @ the direction and say i can do this then end up taking it a part because I did it wrong

Very convenient. It would be difficult to smoke without it. Should be standard.

I like that the shelf is split so you can raise only half if needed. I think they could be a little wider and mine had a minor dent. Overall i am happy i got them.

Really assists in smoking/grilling when you can place your tray directly in front of the racks.

Shelf makes it easier to place probes in the food and get it on and off the grill when the lid is open. It would be nice if the handle was in a different spot as it interferes with things placed on the grill.

Have to force the shelf to set when out. Otherwise, it holds no weight.

Would like it wider as well.

The shelf is nice, but the grab handle for the grill is too close to the shelf.

They're large enough to actually hold briskets, ribs, butts etc. Installation is easy and I like that they fold down. The only issue I have with them is that the Smokefire's handle interferes with anything you may have on the shelf. If the shelf was installed a bit lower or the handle a bit higher, it would make the space considerably more valuable.

So far I have used it a handful of times and have been very happy with the results. My one issue is on a long brisket cook, the pellets became jammed at the fire box and didn't fall into the discard tray, so they all built up and the fire shut down, so I can to clean out the entire area and free up the blockage. Brisket turned out great, but still took about an hour of time away from the cook to fix the blockage.

Works well. Nice features. Tedious assembly. Grill hooks could be easier to hang the grill on. I think this is a necessary item for comfortable grilling.

A must have addition to this awesome grill! The extra work space is really appreciated when loading and unloading whatever you're cooking.

Table is very nice and completes the look and function of this great smoker.

I was one of the early adopters and had some of the issues with the gen 1 units like others. That said I wanted to be patient with my review because of how amazing Weber has been with their customer service. They provided me all the upgraded gen 2 parts last year and it's like a whole new grill. I've had zero issues since the upgrades and use it at least 3 times a week. This is the best purchase I've made in a long time. The flavor and ease of use is well worth the price. Plus knowing Weber has your back is a huge plus. For folks that gave up too soon on the smokefire, this is why patience pays off. Do not hesitate to buy this.

My recommendation is to use the weber pellets because they're the best. Also, use the drip pans above the flavorizer bars to make clean up easy. By doing this every 5 or 6 long cooks you can easily use the cleaning tool provided to take ten min to dump the pellet ash into the drip pan. Super easy and keeps things clean. Why am I still typing? I should be smoking something instead lol. Oh and click add to cart and buy the smokefire already.

Pretty solid build and strong but feels like it should have a bolt in the middle for more support. The only thing preventing me from a 5-star review is that I wish the shelves were a little deeper as the handle bar gets in the way

I would have liked the table better if it was a full solid piece for the EX6 and not two tables. EX4 is one table. I also would have liked thicker stainless Steel.

I agree with alot of the other reviews that this shelf isn't the sturdiest. I wish somewhere in the middle of the shelf it had another support that attached to the SmokeFire to help sturdy it. I will say though that I do trust the shelf to hold any thing that you put on it. I just wish it was a bit sturdier.
