Only just bought the camera and lens so cannot comment yet.

Excellent, very sharp and useful range for video work on my FX2.

Purchased a couple of months ago and used on a couple occasions since. The optical quality of the lens is really exceptional as well as the build quality. The cashback offer was handled expertly amd certainly added to the value of the lens.

Just got this lens for my A7RII and it works perfectly with it.

Good size and weight for general usage, and very solidly built.

Typical Sony attention to detail and design style. It is neat and good-looking so it suits the camera too.

It is a 'G' so it is crisp if not top notch, but still, on my 36MP sensor, it delivers with a bit of care.

But, surprisingly, at full 24mm and F4 it works best! Very fine resolution wide open.

At 105mm it isn't so sharp, even when stopping down, but is still easily good enough for average size printing (I tend to try to print large format canvas in the 1 meter wide range). Care in sharpening resolves more.

The OSS seems to be very effective, and I have big hands yet find the button positions and focus ring right. The zoom ring is a bit stiffish so feels more clunky but at least this does not slide out when moving the camera!

I have owned a Canon 24-70 F2.8 Mkii, which is super sharp - and costs a lot more than this - but with an adapter for the A7RII it is just too massive to carry around. This is a nice compromise. Very happy with this lens.

Great general purpose lens. Not the fastest - but it cover a good range, produces good quality photos. It's a great general purpose travel lens

I bought this as a general purpose lens. It works well for landscape, street, travel and people photography when I don’t want to carry several lenses. So far I have been very pleased with the results.

Very happy with the lens, a prefect partner for the 7CR that I recently purchased, I suspect that it will be the day to day lens for the camera.

Having used Canon - an APS-C one - and Olympus cameras - Micro 4/3 - I wanted to move on to full frame and the A7 iv was the chosen item. It came as body only and there came the dilemma, which first lens to buy. It seemed that the 24-105 was highly rated by many on YouTube and independent reviews for its ease of use, the versatility - wide to short telephoto - but more than that, the image quality. I’ve only started using it in the last 10 days whilst learning the functions of the new camera and I have to agree that this is a GREAT first lens

I wanted a mid-range zoom lens with more reach than my 28-70 f2.8 GM II but I didn't want to lose quality; after a lot of research I chose the 24-105 f4 and the results are outstanding - image quality and colour are exceptional, the lens is relatively light and compact and in both full-frame and APS-C mode produces results that, if I didn't know, could have been from my 28-70 lens. This is a super lens.

I bought this lens to fit in between my 12 - 24 and 100 - 400 lenses and what a great addition it is. The overall quality is outstanding and being an F4 it is great for both indoor and outdoor shooting. If you are in the market for a 24 - 105 lens, I would highly recommend this lens.

This lens covers the perfect focal length range for landscape photography. The constant f4 aperture is good for low light photography and more that enough for the typical f8 - f11 range which gives the DoF required for landscapes. Sharpness and lack of any significant distortion are excellent at all focal lengths.

I did lots of research before purchasing the sony FE 24 -105 F4 G OSS Lens for my SOny A7 II. I wanted one lens on my camera body all the time that I can use for landscapes, street photography and portraits and this lens covers all these scenarios really well.
