It is awesome that it fits inside the Go-Anywhere Charcoal Grill for storage and transport, but that makes it a little too small to fire up even one end of the grill in one go, so takes a bit longer. Worth the compromise in my mind, but I would use the standard size chimney starter at home to get going faster for regular use.

Item works, but the edges are left extremely sharp. This is disappointing as I didn't expect to have to spend my time finishing the work on the product.

Too small to go with the Weber I purchased. This size was suggested but a total fail

works but very small, works fine with the new "Go-Anywhere Grill" grill but does not fill with charcoal i think by design, i needed 100% of the cooking surface on the portable grill but this really only gives you enough for 50-60% cooking surface. the indirect side does not get hot at all on the "Go-Anywhere Grill" so you have to go 100% direct (my experience)

it does fit inside the "Go-Anywhere Grill" if that counts and it is convenient but unfortunately not terribly functional. you could go with 2 and that would give the capacity you need and it probably would still fit.

weber should make a new kind of squareish chimney that is designed to fill the "Go-Anywhere Grill" for 100% direct heat and fit inside it, this does not really do the trick had to revert to a partial load on my regular one

I purchased to use with my Smokey Joe and it works great

easy to use. the "heat guard" between the handle and the chimney kept my hand safe from the heat.

I own two large chimneys amd usially just turn it upside down for a smaller capacity. It is more convenient to have a smaller on too.

Appreciate the smaller size for the Smokey Joe. Always thought I was using too much fuel with the larger chimneys. And b4 you say it - yes I could have only filled the taller ones half way - I’m just not disciplined to do that. Great product!

The best way to light coals. I'll let the true grilling aficionados rave about how you simply *must* use a chimney instead of lighter fluid for taste alone. Used with two Weber lighter cubes, even lump charcoal will be white in under 20 minutes. Every. Single. Time.

Easy to use, better than lighting fluid! Wish I purchased this a long time ago.

This is sized right if one chooses(as I do) to start w/a small fire and add draft to temperature. One reason for a short array of stars is Weber’s choice of materials guarantees a certain level of built in “planned obsolescence”.

Why it’s not stainless is not beyond my grasp, but I have to question that path from the makers of : “The Grill of a Lifetime”.

This product is absolutely necessary thing to ignore charcoal.
