Great headphones, really enjoy the sound quality and the noise cancelling. Side of the headphones I also enjoy the. Controls of the headphones on the side of the headphones really good.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and the sound quality is great! Very comfortable too!! Only downside is that they show every fingerprint very easily.

Quality as always with Sony headphones. I own the XM5 over ear, XM6 in ear. These headphones have a quality build, feel light but sturdy have excellent comfort. I can wear for hours at a time without any problems. The sound is excellent especially through the sound connect app. Multiple configurations for equaliser to your liking, outstanding noise cancelling. Love them would highly recommend them.

Absolutely incredible headphones would be an understatement

Sound quality is great but connection to PC is terrible. I had to by extra third party software to make them connect. With a headphone at this premium price i was stunned that they didn't work out of the box and i had to spend a few hours to find a workaround.

I rocked my WH-1000XM3s for six solid years and thought ANC headphones couldn't get much better. I was wrong. I am completely astonished by how much of a leap the WH-1000XM6s are.

Sony finally brought back the folding hinges, making them beautifully compact for travel again. The noise cancellation is next-level, completely erasing high-pitched background chatter that my XM3s couldn't quite block. The sound is noticeably richer with deeper, cleaner bass, and the seamless multipoint Bluetooth switching is a massive quality-of-life upgrade. They also feel lighter and more comfortable during long sessions.

If you've been holding onto an older pair wondering if the upgrade is worth it-it absolutely is. 5/5 stars.

Bought these headphones ahead of a 24 hours flight from UK to Australia. There were a lot of screaming kids and babies on this flight and the noise cancelling of these worked flawlessly.

I wore them throughout the entire flight and when I landed in Sydney, they still had 70% battery left!

Sound okay, not as good as reviews state. Noise cancellation flicks in and out when in a noisy environment. Not much of an upgrade from the xm5 for me. But they do sound nice. But not as good as b&w.

I’ve been using the Sony WH-1000XM6 for a couple of days now, and honestly… they’ve completely changed how I listen to music—and even how I manage my migraines day to day.

The first thing that really stood out to me was the noise cancelling. The moment I put them on, the world just fades away. Trains, traffic, people talking—it all disappears into silence. It’s not just blocking sound, it actually adapts to your surroundings in real time, so you feel like you’ve stepped into a calm, controlled space.

I get migraines that are often triggered by noise and overstimulation. A few weeks ago, I could feel one starting while I was out—everything got too loud, too sharp, and I knew it was about to hit. Normally, I’d have to leave whatever I was doing and find somewhere quiet (which isn’t always easy). But that time, I just put these on, turned on the noise cancelling, and sat still for a bit. Within minutes, the harshness of the environment was gone. It didn’t magically cure the migraine, of course—but it took the edge off enough that I could actually cope and avoid it getting worse. Since then, I carry them everywhere. They’ve become more of a tool than just headphones.

Sound-wise, they’re incredible too. Everything feels rich and immersive without being overwhelming. You start noticing details in songs you’ve never heard before—little background sounds, layers, and textures that bring music to life. It’s warm, clear, and just really enjoyable whether you’re focusing or just relaxing.

They’re also ridiculously comfortable. I’ve worn them for hours at a time—working, walking, travelling—and I barely notice they’re there. The headband doesn’t dig in, the ear cups feel soft, and they’re light enough for all-day use.

Battery life has been solid as well. I don’t think about charging them much because they just last—and when I do forget, a quick charge gives me hours of use, which has saved me more than once.

I also love the little details, like the fact they fold again, making them easy to carry around, and how seamlessly they switch between my devices. Everything feels polished and easy to use.

If I’m being honest, they are expensive—but at this point, I don’t really see them as just headphones anymore.

Final thought: these have become part of my routine. They help me enjoy music, focus better, and most importantly, manage my migraine triggers when I need it most—and that alone makes them absolutely worth it for me.

These headphones are more comfortable than the previous model wh1000mx5, the sound is also better

Great NC but not so great sound a litle bit expensive.

Bought a couple of weeks ago I use them mainly in the gym they are without doubt the best headphones I have ever owned ……..light weight crystal clear sound noise cancelling ……etc etc…. Well worth the money …..

Really enjoy my headphones. They are crisp with a clear sound. Very light weight and look sleek.

I bought this a few weeks ago and am very pleased with it. One minor quibble is that there are no voice signposts in English to tell you what has happened when you press a button, as there were on my WH4 version. An electronic sound on its own is not helpful and I can't find any way to switch vocal signposts (if they are available) on. Otherwise, full marks.

Great noise cancelling function and perfect fit. I did try bose headphones too, one of the latest version and it wasn't that comfortable though I did enjoy the immersion mode but not necessarily a must to have.

So far they are amazing headphones. Great sound quality with amazing ANC.

I bought these since my WH-1000XM5's failed (for those wondering, the right earcup stopped making sound after 3 years of use) and I have to say my expectations were pleasantly lifted. From the get-go, I expected something on par with my aformentioned XM5's but the reality is these headphones noticably improve in many fields.

For me specifically, these features were;

• Improved Noise Cancelling (on the XM5's I could hear a fan spinning if I didn't have music playing, no longer the case on the XM6's)
  
  

- Charging (The charging while on feature is an unexpected godsend. With the fast charging the headphones take a minimum of 30 minutes to charge, which was an issue on my xm5's. However with my XM6's I can listen while my headphones are plugged into e.g a power bank. Granted, it's a bit clunkier (cus of the cable) but it's better than nothing at all!

• The Bluetooth Low Latency (LE). Really useful for gaming, as it fixes the longtime bluetooth issue of single channel audio when using the headset mic (So I can use a voice chat now without feeling like a deaf 80 year old)
  
  

I'm sure i'll think if more in due time, but these are what stuck out to me.

N.B! The hinges, while folding, don't allow you to fold the earcups upwards and wear them around your neck (unless you're an ostrich) so I have to fold them when removing them but they fold flat so it's not a big issue, Just something to keep in mind.

A great product and most definitely an upgrade to my previous Sony headphone, a. must buy

The noise cancelling ability’s of these headphones are superb.

These are great and have great features. Comfortable for long usage and don’t have as much radio frequency as airpods

Went from a bose to this, sound wise, to me the bose beats this hands down on sound quality and even its overall volume and comfort, dont get me wrong, it has some cool gimmicks but I still wished I used my money on the latest bose headphones instead of this 1
