Then I came across this extension for a KitchenAid. I already had the machine, so this seemed like a nice addition. And it certainly is! I would have preferred the metal version because I think it looks better, but it wasn't available, so I opted for the plastic one. It should be noted that only the exterior is plastic; the interior is metal. This makes it a heavy-duty accessory and feels very high-quality. The extension is very easy to attach to the machine and is simple to use. You can adjust the thickness of the pasta dough sheets with 8 different settings. You can also use different settings for different pasta dishes. I think it's a great addition to my KitchenAid machine, and because it's not a large, separate appliance, it's easy to grab quickly and use more often.

The three in one pasta attachment is a lot bigger and heavier than I expected, you can really tell that it is a sturdy product. It comes with clear instructions in a two page pamphlet. Very easy to attach and use. It was so much fun to run the pasta through each time and it tasted even more delicious than I could have imagined! I look forward to using this for pasta nights but also to put fondant on my cakes. It also comes with a brush to dry off any ingredients after you let it dry for an hour it all easily comes off.
