The product is good but the stand does require some adjustment I.e moving steam head and gander stand to moved from front to back to iron other side as the head does get very hot

Great product, so much easier than the traditional iron. Great value.

Laitteen edut korostuvat aroissa materiaaleissa. Mukana tulevalla "prässäyspuristimella" olen oikaissut puvun housuista prässejä.

Käyttöä ei ole vielä ollut valtavasti, mutta silitysrauta on saanut levätä rauhassa tämän hankinnan jälkeen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and so far I am on the whole very impressed. The garment steamer is a lifesaver for people like me who aren’t very good at ironing (hides in shame!) because you can have your item of clothing upright on the frame. I find this method much easier than manoeuvring clothes around an ironing board. The steamer works up to full steam in a couple of minutes, so this is something you can quickly use in a morning if you’ve forgotten to iron your clothes. The steamer itself is pretty easy to assemble and the instructions are well written. The tank of water lasts a long time too which is handy. Now the only downside I found was that the thermal glove included was pretty cumbersome and there was only one included so you could be at risk of steaming your hands if you need to hold the garment to get to tricky parts of the clothing. This is the only reason I’ve awarded 4 stars instead of 5. I did end up purchasing some separate thermal gloves and now I don’t have this issue but it may be something for Phillips to take note of.

I was very sceptical about clothes steamers as so many have mixed reviews, I found this one and decided to give it a go. I hate ironing shirts as it takes so long and even after 20 minutes of ironing one there’s still creases when I’ve finished. This steamer gives me the same results as I would get ironing for 20 mins but within 5 minutes instead. Would definitely recommend, makes life so much easier.

Upon receiving the Phillips Easy Touch Plus Garment Steamer I was a little apprehensive about how easy it would be to assemble and use.

However after unboxing and reading the accompanying easy to read instruction booklet I had the steamer up and running in little over 10 minutes. No problems with assembly at all.

Now for the fun part!

I tried various garments with different fabrics from cottons to silks to test out how well my creases would be removed.

I liked the selection of steam settings that covered the most difficult to remove creases on heavier materials to the lightest to easily removed creases on more delicate fabrics.

It took a couple of practices but I soon got the hang of it and I was very impressed with the results.

I liked that I could cover large areas of fabric in one go and that the detachable water tank held a good amount of water so there was no need to keep refilling.

There are lots of useful tools that come with the steamer which really come in handy.

Over all I would give this steamer top marks it makes life so much easier and by steaming my garments makes more time for me to do other things.

After using easy touch garment steamer it was fast and efficient and cut my time in ironing something I desperately needed having a busy hectic life .

Slightly larger then expected , with built in stand makes it even more perfect to store it in one place .

What I love most about this product is that with powerful continuous steam this is safe to use on delicate fabrics , normally fabrics that burn easily using an iron where u can never find the right setting for that particular fabric..

The easy touch garment is ideal never burn your garment.

It has detachable water tank easy to refill, glove protect hands from burning , folding garment hanger and a brush for pleats .

This is a fantastic product easy to use and I use this more often then a iron .

Definitly recommend this product you will not be disappointed .

I go to a lot of meetings and events and some of the clothes i simply cant iron because of how delicate the cloth is and how much embroidery there is so this have saved me so much time and money when going to dry cleaner etc!!

It works well, gets all the creases out of my tops which I don’t usually bother to iron unless I have to so I hang them in the cupboard straight away usually and iron when I need them. I can now just give them a quick steam and they are perfect to wear.

I set the steamer up in my kitchen to start with as I had read other reviews saying the base leaked but so far mine hasn’t so it’s now in my spare bedroom or as it’s now called, the steam room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using my steamer for a couple of weeks now and I find it so useful for items like my daughters school blazer, pleated skirts and items u would never iron special materials etc? It’s so simple and easy to set up, be careful and always wear your glove it gets very hot, some items need a little more work than others especially getting the back done as the pole is right in the middle but other than that a great item I’m glad to add to my collection to make home chores a little bit easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure what to expect when I received this. Firstly, it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be! It's not massive, it just takes up the same amount of space as a human! It holds loads of water, I've used it on a good 30 items and still have water left for another 10. It's really good at getting creases out, I've found if you use it on anything higher than the middle setting it tends to get your clothes a little too damp! I hate ironing but I enjoy using this so its definitely a winner for me. The only downside is that the cord for the steam is at the front of the machine and the holder for the steamer is at the back, it would be better if they were on the same side as when you put the steamer back into the holder it does have a tendency to pop back out. Best thing is, it takes 10 seconds to heat up and doesn't leak like my iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had great hopes for this item. it was easy to put together but slightly bulkier than i thought it would be. So not the best if you're limited to space .

It was easy to switch on and heat up, but short while after i noticed it leaked a lot. i double checked to see if everything was locked in place and it still leaked. I then tried a few different garments but the results were sadly not pleasing. On a blazer, shirt and silk clothing a lot of the creases stayed and didn't come out fully. so if you wanted this as a quick fix up it would not be ideal. I think it would be great for clothes that just need little bit of a touch up

Another issue i have found is, the board which it comes with for easy use won't dismantle. so I'm stuck and cant put it away safely in the box, also the stick that goes into the main body of the steamer also does not come back out or is quite difficult too. unfortunately this has been put away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a garment steamer prior to this; even though I’d hard about them. As a professional in the education field, I’m constantly ironing shirts, suits and other garments. So, I was quite keen to try out the Easy Touch steamer.

The first thing that struck me was the very solid build of the device and how easy it was to put together, even for a DIY-phobic person like myself. The device comes with a very simple but well explained user guide. Within less than 10 minutes, it was up and plugged in. I’m not sure though, if I’m ready or willing to dismantle and assemble the device again when needed, so I simply left it assembled and left it in a corner of my spare room. Some might prefer this method as the device is relatively but not overly large.

Even though I had never used a steamer before, it took me less than a few minutes to get the hang of it. First, I “steamed” several office shirts with various level of creases. Crease level was moderate to heavy. And this is where I had my first pleasant surprise. It took just about 2 minutes from plugging the device in for it to go to full steam. So, for a person like myself who usually does impromptu morning ironing, this was a rather useful advantage. No waiting forever for the water to heat up and produce steam. The device comes with a reasonably wide steam head, which allows you to cover large areas at once. For me, the best feature of this steamer and I think the most important, is that it actually does remove the creases right before your eyes. I initially found it tricky getting to some areas of the shirt (between buttons, pleats, collar and cuffs), but with several trials, I got the hang of it.

Part of the items included in the package is a back board with soft felt-like board cover (similar to that on an ironing board). This provides support for the steaming and I found it particularly useful for shirts and suits. If you are used to regular irons and instinctively want a solid surface, then this would work.

I also used the steamer on a jacket and got similar results as the shirt, except, I found this to be even more useful as I do not generally iron suits myself. It’s like you own a mini dry cleaner of some sort (the suit looked the way it does when I dry clean). Creases went off easily and the fabric looked and felt new.

In spite of these rather excellent features, I think there are aspects that the manufacturer needs to consider. The package comes with a thermal glove that prevents your hand getting burnt as you hold the steam head. This in itself is rather good, but my first issue with it is that it has no holes for the fingers, so is very awkward to hold properly while moving over the fabric. Another issue I think, is that the material is quite slippery. It makes it a bit tricky to manoeuvre the head without it slipping sometimes, especially at awkward sections of the garment. It would also be good to have a pair, rather than just a single glove. I find that as I steam, I use my other hand to move the garment here and there. In so doing, I sometimes get steam on the hand without the glove and of course, this is not pleasant. Eventually, you do learn to avoid most of the steam on you, but not totally.

In spite of this, the device is quick, does remove creases effectively, has a large capacity water tank and as you would expect from Phillips, very solidly built. It has saved me time when compared to traditional ironing. I do not think it replaces the iron. I think it complements it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the steamer easy to assemble as the instructions were very clear. It was up and functioning within 15 minutes of opening the box.

The steam is very powerful on the highest setting, I felt that the highest setting wasn't required unless the garment was heavily creased.

I first tried it on my husbands shirts, it tools the creases out efficiently and easily.

I then tried it on trousers using the correct hanger attachment, it took a little longer to get the creases out. I haven't tried it with Jean's but figure it will work, it may just take a little time.

The design is sleek, and the pole collapses down, my only bugbear is that you cannot pull it out completely. It would make it easier to store if you could.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly I have to say i'm disappointed with this garment steamer.. In comparison to other philips products I own I feel the quality is lacking.. Whilst easy to set up and the base being of a heavy and quality feel, the overall product just feels a little inadequate.. It has a large water tank which whilst good, water does drip and leak when emptying or if you have to repostion the steamer for any reason, the hose is very rigid and creases if not careful resulting in steam not reaching the end properly, the peg clips are very stiff and difficult to clip clothes and whilst trying the steamer fell from it housing several times, it also gets quite warm to hold.

Whilst it does do a really good job of getting the creases out, it does make the clothes fairly damp so not suitable if you want to wear something or put away immediately.. I would also say its better suited to adult clothing, small items of clothing for eg school shirts etc are just simply easier with a standard iron.. Overall for something that should make refreshing a garment quick and with ease this is just too fiddly and time consuming for me.

It doesn't take up much space and it's easy to assemble. The clothes are smoothly ironed. Plus I like having the board which gives you something to press against. It also comes with a glove which is great! And the tank lasts for a long time so there's no need to keep filling. Easy and comfortable! I'd recommend it to anyone!
