Great hair trimmer - cuts really closely without irritation. Poor on/off switch position though. I accidentally turn it off at least 3 or 4 times each time I use it. It's exactly where I naturally hold it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about this is that it is really light and compact. It's about half the size of my previous multi groom and noticeably lighter. This makes a lot easier to carry around. Very handy if your traveling.

It comes with a wide range of attachments. I particularly like the guard that is adjustable, with a small switch that allows you to change the length to suit you. I find this extremely handy for styling my beard as it saves time changing guards.

All in all, a nice product and one I'd definitely recommend, especially if you travel regularly or want to do more than just trim your beard.

The product is listed as a multigroom, therefore can be used on beards.

I've been using defective clippers for years and decided to upgrade.

The product does what it says but be aware they are much smaller than hair clippers.

Due to this they require a lot of passes to complete a cut.

In fairness they cut better than my old clippers but so would any new clippers as mine were shot.

The supplied attachments are ok, they fit tightly but only 3 listed for hair, the rest for body and beard.

My old clippers had an adjustment on the cutting plate making grading a relatively simple task. These require changing the comb and offer much less control over grading.

I have no choice but to use the beard and body combs for hair cuts. I can't see how this would be a real issue.

I managed to cut my hair plus my 2 boys with charge left so thats a plus point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product replaced a hair trimmer that had recently stopped working. The bag was very sleek looking so I like the way everything stores in it. The hair trimmer works very well and there is a good battery life once charged. Only thing I wasn't keen on was the nose and ear hair trimmer. The shape and design meant that it was very hard to use this and its the only item I don't use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic grooming tool, it has so many different attachments you can do everything you need to with just one tool. I've shaved my head, trimmed and shaped my beard and trimmed my nose and ear hair! Its fantastic that I don't need 3 or 4 different tools for this now. Its made it so much easier and quicker for me to get through. I have yet to use the body hair attachment but look forward to seeing the results.

The attachments clip on and off really easily, although they are not so easy to get out of the netted pouch in the carry case if you have large hands. Its very easy to clean and the battery life is brilliant! Gone are the days of getting half way through and the battery dying. The precision tool is great for getting nice sharp lines. It comes with a very nice travel case that's not too bulky and everything fits in perfectly. Its got a nice chunky handle on it so you can get to grips with it easier and its not fiddly to use. I've got on really well with this trimmer and would recommend it to anyone who is as hairy as I am!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comes well packaged, and inside it also comes in its own compact carry case for the trimmer and all its accessories.

The choice of attachments is perfect for all trimming needs. My fiancé has used this on his face, and whilst some irritate his skin, this did not, and he was left with a nice close and smooth trim. It also did the job nice and quick.

I have also had the opportunity to trial it to cut my fiancé and sons hair. Normally my son does not like his hair being done, but this was nice, gentle and quiet. (Just to note, I am not a hairdresser). It cut their hair with ease and no pulling of hairs. I was also able to blend their hair well with the choice of attachments available.

It is easy to change over the accessories and attachments, and it’s also easy to clean after use. The charge is quick and the battery is still going, so lasts well.

Very practical!!! Fantastic!!! I no longer look like a warewolf and my wife can actually recognise me again when we are together in bed!!!

Purchased this to replace both a beard trimmer and a body groomer. I used it for the first time this weekend, and am just so impressed with how well it cuts hair on the head as well as the body! Really comfortable to use, comes in a great travel case and has enough accessories, so you don’t need individual tools for hair, beard and body. All round a great product. It’s definitely pricey but the quality is superb. Love it!

I have been using it 4 times and I still didn’t charge it. So far good quality.

Very sleek looking but slips out of the hand too easily. Very fine cutting head and the wrong attachment doing the wrong hair/part of the body does indeed mean it clogs up frequently (yes the instructions do refer to this). Overall it’s nice. Very sharp. But for the price and the fact it’s easily dropped I can’t say it’s fantastic

this is a very good product it charges up very soon and has power any time i need it even if i haven't charged it in a long time. it cuts very well.so its all good.

This product is extremely versatile with the fact that it caters to all my grooming needs with the vast amount of attachments that comes with it. Due to me preferring a cleaner shave the most used attachment by far is the standard larger shaving one (typical clipper attachment). I use this daily to shave my face as its quick and convient to use compared to your typical razer. It cut s through the facial hair nicely and with over a years worth of use I have had only one time when it was low on battery when it pulled. My second go to attachment is the body shaving one which I use with the skin guard on this works great though when used wet it can miss a few hairs. Which is why I have given a 4 star and not a 5. In terms of charging its fantastic I only need to charge once every 10 days. Though when I use for my body I may need to charge sooner due to longer usage time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a convient way to shave both face and body and if you have a beard it would be ideal due to different attachment size as well as the detailer attachment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trimmer arrived almost fully charged, which was good as apparently it takes 16hours to charge fully!

The blades seem sharp and cut with very little irritation - I tried trimming my beard back from about 10mm, using the 5mm, 2mm and 1mm combs that are provided with the shaver. I could get a decent amount of control to do detailed edge work and the combs gave an even enough cut that it didn't look patchy at all.

The nose clipper reduced me to tears almost instantly - not quite sure what happened there, but its fairly effective nonetheless

The paper-y pouch provided for storing the clipper and attachments is pretty poor given the price - I've have expected something a bit more sturdy, especially since you could expect this to be getting damp occasionally, which I don't think it would cope with!

Amazing - actually cuts a very short length which many competitor products dont - very versatile with all the attachments etc

I have deducted one star because of Phillips wasting my time and refusing to publish my previous review because I 'mentioned a competitor'. This is insane because of course people make purchasing decisions based on what else is available on the market, and may compare a shaver to one they have used in the past.

OK, so I bought this shaver to replace an aging [rusty kitchen knife] made by [elves in a mountain cave]. The old [rusty kitchen knife] had served me well for many years but was falling apart frankly, and had to be held together with sticky tape to stop the blade catching and pulling hairs.

Anyway, it was a pleasure to use the Phillips shaver for the first time. It cuts easily and smoothly with no suspicion of pulling or catching. I mainly used the bare normal-width cutter on my head, and used that cutter with various comb atttachments for the beard. Both worked very well. I think in the end the only attachment I need is the adjustable-length comb attachment.

It's really hard to fault this Phillips Series 7000 shaver/trimmer. Just a couple of things:

1. In common with the [rusty kitchen knife] I used before, it is possible to accidentally turn this item on in a bag when travelling, but unlike the [rusty kitchen knife] I cannot take the batteries out to prevent this when travelling, so I will have to devise some way of overcoming this problem. The ON/OFF switch in fact is very flat and very easy to activate inadvertently. A shame the designers did not think of this.
   
   
2. The main trimmer attachment does not shave as close as the [rusty kitchen knife] from [those famous elves] I had used before, but life is short and so is the number of days a really short trim will stay short, so it's fine.
   
   
3. I think it is a bit weird these days to make a product that cannot be charged from a stadard USB charger point, or from a computer USB socket. Keep up, Phillips!
   
   

Otherwise it's a good bit of kit. I have read reviews saying that these Series 7000 shavers have been failing suddenly electrically after a few months, but I decided to take a punt, and I'm glad I did. I've made sure to take advantage of all available (free!) extended warranties from Phillips, by registering the product, etc, so if it does flake out in that period they should send me a new one, and I'm happy with that.

In short, it's a good shaver.

The trimmer is made really well, and feels really solid in the hand. It feels powerful yet is gentle on the skin, and really easy to use. It even comes with a handy travel case!

Overall I would say this is a very good product, feels good quality and well made, I would definitely recommend to others.
