Awesome... Is a complete understatement. This is a absolute beast. I have more than 40 devices linked to this and it's not even smiling a beat. Honestly the best purchase I've made in many years. This has demonstrated every single issue I had with my WiFi and had even boosted my Ethernet connection to previously unheard of speeds. Recommended highly!

Excellent piece of kit with lots of options. I have 2 drives attached for media server and work fine on my local network, also have Ai Meshed it with my older RT-AC88U and the Wi-Fi works seamlessly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the price, but like everything you get what you pay for.

The router was easy easy to install and configure. Since then I have found it remains fast and secure with no dropouts or loss of service.,

Amazing and reliable router. Works well while using virgin internet in modem mode. The tri band is great when streaming. I would definitely recommend this router not just for gamers. The app is brilliant way to control the router. 5 stars all the way.

This router has transformed my home network, it just deals with everything I throw at it and performs absolutely brilliantly. I've owned this for 15 months now so this is a long term reivew.

I was looking to improve on my Virgin Media Hub 3 which can't cope with 30 devices connected and 400 mbps broadband and I have not been disappointed. The first main benefit is the tri-band wifi with smart connect that allows me to automatically assign devices to the best band giving each device the best possible connection without any need to configure different SSID's. Each band is now nicely balanced with devices on the appropriate bands for their speed.

The wifi range is incredible, I previously had a second access point at the back of my house to provide a better signal in my back garden but this router provides a stronger signal throughout my back garden up to 30 metres away than the closer access point so I no longer need to use it.

The stability of this router has been amazing throughout the last 12 months of working from home, a family of 4 using huge amounts of bandwidth on video calls, home working, streaming movies etc and there has never been an issue even when the broadband is maxed out at 400 mbps, everyone still gets a responsive experience.

The features available are wide ranging, the in built VPN clients make it so easy to connect difference devices to VPN's and the VPN server ensures I can safely access my home network outside the house and get the benefits of the AI protection.

The AI protection is one of my favourite features, quietly and reliably blocking malicious links in the background to keep my network clean of malware.

Highly recommended however if you want to get the best from this router, prepare to get technical and roll your sleeves up to change the myriad of potential configurations to suit your exact network. This is not a beginners router so don't buy it if you just want to plug it in as default and forget, however for the more technically minded with complex home networks, you will find everything you need to have a stable and fast internet experience.
