Kokemukset ja arvostelut

Etsin monitoimilaitetta erityisesti kaksipuoleiseen skannaukseen, ja päädyin merkkiuskollisena tähän tuotteeseen. Laitteessa on kaksi skannausyksikköä, yksi dokumentin kummallekin puolelle, minkä vuoksi automaattinen kaksipuolinen skannaus arkinsyöttölaitteelta toimii yhtä nopeasti kuin yksipuolinenkin. Laitteen muisti riittää skannaamaan kerralla ainakin satasivuisen dokumentin (suuremmalla määrällä en ole kokeillut), mutta enemmän muistia vievät ruutupaperi- tai käsimuistiinpanot keskeyttävät skannauksen muistin loppumiseen joidenkin kymmenien sivujen jälkeen. Tulostusjälki on hyvä ja värit toistuvat tasaisesti.

Oma vaatimuslistani oli seuraava: lasertulostin, värillinen ja kaksipuolinen tulostus, värillinen ja kaksipuolinen skannaus, arkinsyöttölaite, verkkoliitäntä ja skannaus verkkolevylle. Laite täyttää nämä tarpeet hyvin ja se on toiminut luotettavasti kolmen viikon kokemuksella. Sopii hyvin kotitoimistoon.

Vanhan erimerkkisen - hyvät speksit omaava monitoimivärilaser tuli tiensä päähän ja pitkän tutkimisen jälkeen päädyin tähän koneeseen. Olin epäileväinen, koska kokemukset näistä monitoimikoneista on melko kirjavia ja paperilla annetut lupaukset lähinnä viitteellisiä oikeasta toimivuudesta.

Kone on kuitenkin osoittautunut aivan täydelliseksi pirnrn yritykseni tarpeisiin. Tarvitsin koneen, jossa on mielellään kaksipuolinen tulostus ja molemminpuolinen skannaus ja ehdottomasti värilaser. Valikoima meni näillä vaatimuksilla järkevässä hintatasossa aina pieneksi. Mitään huonoa sanottavaa en koneesta keksi. Toimii upeasti langattomasti, ei suttaa eikä rypistele papereita, kaikin puolin todella toimiva ja melko hiljainen. Ainoat pienet miinukset on, että kylmäkäynnistys kestää aika kauan. Värikaseteissa olisin myös toivonut, että voisi vaihtaa pelkän väripurkin, kuten joissakin Brothereissa on tehty. Turhaan joka kerta tulee uusi värikasetti rattaineen. Mutta, kaiken kaikkiaan todella hyvä ja hintaan nähden aivan erinomainen tuote. Väittäisin että on vertailukelpoinen tuplasti kalliimpien kanssa. Aika toki näyttää, miten kestää käyttöä.

We bought this printer to upgrade from our previous Brother printer we had for a very long time. And needless to say so far so good with the new one, we have had it in operation for nearly 3 months. We have always used Brother printers and find they are reliable and cost effective.

Would definitely recommend buying a Brother printer!

Printer was so easy to set up and connect to pc and phone. Easy to use and great results. Def recommend.

I'm building up a new home office installation and required a new printer. I wasn't to going to buy another inkjet. Tired and frustrated with them, may not print every day or every week and don't require photo quality output but I do require a printer that works when I need it to as it's usually something urgent. Messing around with head cleaning and head alignment, pulling my hair out in frustration I'm too old for and far too tired of. So this is the second Brother MFC I've purchased. The last one was a mono laser MFC in 2006 and it's lasted 13 years which I won't complain about and it's still supported on the Brother website, big positive that!

Given my experience I bought this, needed colour, scanning, copying and fax is still useful, still a legal document in the UK and have used, plus duplex and network both wired and wifi are all required. It is heavy, it is big and the photo attached shows this in a temporary position for now, have a place for this but need to make space in the home office sometime soon. It is a commercial machine however the price was excellent and being commercial I know it will last and be supported for many years.

So yes I would recommend and needless to say the print quality and user experience have been excellent!

Bought this as a printer for home as we are planning to homeschool our kids which will be a lot of printing. So far we have found it fast and responsive and the fact that we can print wirelessly direct from mobile and scan directly to email is a huge benefit. Great printer can't fault it!

good print quality, but very slow, especially when duplexing.

This machine is great! Good quality build, does everything it says on the can. Scanning is quick including double sided (no need to turn the paper over). Quality of scan and printing excellent.

Love this, easy to set up & navigate. My only gripe is partner has the same printer in office, both have same Brother ink cartridges, his colours seem brighter than mine.

This is my second Brother Laser Printer. Had my previous one for over 10 years, had no problems at all. I upgraded to one with a Scanner and Wireless Connectivity. Couldn't be Happier.

Easily set up, this printer produces good quality b/w and colour output. Wireless printing is also useful and usually straightforward. Hope ink use will be good and then I'll be one satisfied customer!

Terrific printer that does everything (love the double sided copying). Bought it with the £125 cash back which came very quickly after purchase and makes it a real bargain.

It's fast, quiet and produces good quality prints.

Purchased this printer to replace an Xerox that became too old and this is by far the best. We print onto tracing paper for our screen printing business and most printers don't recognise tracing paper and think it's jammed, but not with this printer. Prints perfect on matt and gloss paper and duplex prints nice and fast compared to others. Toners are reasonably priced too for the ppp.

Hi, bought this last year in November and after some issues with delivery finally received this on January. I can say honestly I done some research in advance and I'm happy to confirm is a "best buy". Duplex print and Duplex scanner was on top - also quality and low costs for maintenance and toner.

I have had Brother Printers (many of them) for decades and when the time came to retire my MFC-9840CDW after many years of good use (it was simply cheaper to buy new rather than repair), I bought a MFC-L8690CDW and overall I am very pleased with it although I must admit that the ControlCenter4 needs to be rethought for user friendliness. However a very useful capability in scanning has been omitted and that is "custom sizing". There are loads of different pages sizes/types available (most of which are never used except for specialist places in the World) but only for the Document Feeder NOT for the Flatbed - WHY?? To not have the ability to set the paper size for the Flatbed is absolutely crazy !! Also as I mentioned slightly earlier there is no "custom sizing" facility and that really detracts from the obvious quality of the machine (ergo loss of 2 stars from me). The lack of the latter makes the scanning facility absolutely useless in some circumstances. For God's sake Brother let's have some lateral thinking in your designs & software !!!!

As a small company of 7 people, this printer suits us all very well. On the initial set up, the instructions were clear and achievable. We all use this via a wireless connection. The print quality is excellent and the printing speed is brilliant.

I bought this about 2 months. It function very good and stable. The warm up time is reasonable. Recommend.

Bought this a month ago and with 14 years of electronics retail background didnt hesitated for a minute to go thru with the purchase.

Its a well build, reliable and fast printer which can bear any print load of home businees or office work.

I do recommend this to any one who is working from home or even for kids home schooling/work.

I spent months searching for the right multi-function device. I previously had a HP device, which never really worked properly & then suddenly, the printing output went haywire.

That plus the issues with the software put me off getting a replacement.

In the intervening years, tech has moved on, but this device was so easy to install & use. A little digging to sort the "scan to" network folder setup & off I went.

I already had a Brother Label printer & that has been superb too.

Feels Well Made. Good for a replacement of an Ink Jet that cost a fortune in Ink Cartridges
