I just bough\t this device last week. I was getting ready to use it tonight. I got it unwrapped and looked at it. There are no instructions with the product. So I went back to the website and was looking at the reviews. There I found that I can’t use this product without another device. Hmmm! That would have affected my purchase but the website didn’t disclose that. fact. It should. I can’t really rate this product since I can’t use it !

Exactly what I need to keep my WSM at the temperature I want. I always know what the temp is inside my smoker so I can adjust.

I just bought my second probe to check the temp of my Summit grill. The first one was giving me false reading early this year. I only bought it last fall!

So, I purchased a replacement. Used. 2-3 times, some issue. It reads about 75-100 degrees lower. This is causing real issues.

I have installed a temperature gauge in the past on my grills and now when I grill all I do is use one of the ports on the base to stay on top of the smoker internal temp.

Probe is excellent for bar b que, but for grilling its maximum is 572 degrees. Most of the times I grill at temperatures which exceed the maximum for the probe and the smart hub will indicate dashes, vexing. Weber please develop a new probe with a maximum of at least 700 degrees, we need a probe that can handle the heat! The probe is still good, but limited.

Dependind how the cable is laying(turned) i can get 3 different feadings about 100 degrees apart.

I was excited to track my rack dry bulb temperatures. I have two racks on my smoker. Only one of the thermometers worked. The other did not register a temperature. They mark them with color coding plastic pieces that looks great at first. They all look the same black color after being used.

does not show battery level as instructions state..

Works well to help control the temperature when smoking meats.

I received this as a gift to go with my new iThermometer and sure takes out the "guess work" when roasting on a charcoal Webber. Very accurate reading right on my smart phone.

I just received and there are no instructions on how to use or where to find instructions. Off to a bad start before I can even use. Wanted to be able to monitor kettle cooking temp to do ribs this weekend.

Saw this ambient temperature gadget on Weber website. It was delivered and there are no direction for it. I see a cable to plug into something but what? Very poor. Perhaps I needed another Weber gadget to work this but it was not stated on the website. Help!

The probe is great and I very satisfied with the probe itself. There is one thing that is disappointing and that is the little bracket that attaches the probe to the grill grate. I have the stainless grate and the bracket must be designed for a different grate because the bracket does not fit well with the stainless grate. The fit is very loose and nearly useless. I would think because this component is very inexpensive a better design could be created or multiple brackets included.

Great product. I’ve been using my Weber for 30 years with a lot of guess work. The ambient probe allows you to use your vents to regulate temperature for accurate cooking.

Great sensor, works as expected. Very nice materials

Not So Good for Storage and Organization

Probe itself works great, but the design of the storage doesn't perfectly match the design of the probe cases sold with the iGrill2 so it keeps falling from the stack of probes. It's a bit annoying as I think one of the big value features is it ingenious storage and organization design. I bit disappointed with a brand of this reputation.

Great product, accurate and a good way to help maintain an accurate grill or smoker temperature.
