I bought this about a month ago. While it works (when it does) it constantly loses it pairing. It also take me 6 to 8 tries to get it to connect at all, even when I am standing right in front of it. I have replaced the batteries and also used the "rest" button numerous time just to get it to work. My phone is less than 20' from the unit everytime we use it. Not a very good unit at all..

Had ours for three or more years now. Very nice build quality, robust, light on batteries. App is stable.

I found my iGrill very easy to set up and use. I purchased it primarily because I use my Weber 22" charcoal grill 3 or 4 times a week to cook foods, and on weekends to smoke meats. The iGrill2 helps me to stop guessing if my food is near done. I use one probe as a temperature guage of the grill itself, while using the other 3 to keep track of meat temperatures.

Won't connect to bluetooth after a few uses. Disappointing as it was great while it lasted

I received my iGrill 2 last year as a Christmas gift and it works perfectly every time I use it. My family is amazed at how good the meat is when it comes off the grill. I bought my brother one for Christmas this past year I love using this so much.

I wish I had had "all" the reviews before purchasing. Seem like it would have been a great device. The issue I have had after buying the igrill 2 is pairing. I have got to to connect and stay connected twice. If it disconnects, when you try to reconnect it will constantly just cycle through tryin to pair without connecting. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have removed the batteries and did a reset. Same issue. For half the money you can purchase a much better probe. I did give it 2 stars instead of 1 because I really think this could have been a great device.

I bought this some time ago to perfectly cook roasts in my Weber instead of guessing and constantly probing. I’ve had nothing but perfect results using this in not only my Weber Q but also when smoking anything in my Smoker aswell, comes with 2 meat temp probes which is so handy but you can fit 4 on it, and you can also get an ambient temperature probe to use in one of the 4 points so monitoring your cook from your phone is an ease without breaking the bank! The only thing it’s missing or doesn’t have that I’ve seen with other Thermometers is an estimated remaining cooking time based on the ambient/internal temp, but once you cook a few items you get a good idea of the time required!

At first the igrill,seemed accurate, but lately no mater what prone I use it’s 20-25 deg off..reads too high. On three occasions now I thought my meat was ready till I checked it with a quality instead read thermometer. And based on how the meat came out I can’t trust my igrill.

Have the food probes and grill probe great for accuracy. Just wish we had the option of switching from Celsius to Fahrenheit so it would match up with my grill.

I've had mine maybe two years now and use it almost exclusively with my smoker. Have used it once or twice with the indoor over to monitor meat temperature, but mostly the smoker (for meat temp). The BlueTooth works fine and I get about 50'+ of range. Nice because I can set the smoker at bedtime and if the meat temp gets to where I need it I will get the alert in my bedroom. Bought two more probes as well. Take care when re-wrapping the probe for storage; I can see how one might wrap it too tight whereby it tugs on the probe end and could pull the wire loose. I tend to be careful with my stuff but can see how aggressive winding might mess it up.

My iGrill2 works great. So does my iGrill3. Extended family lives in two houses. Would prefer to use just one app for both the iGrill2 and iGrill3. Right now, have to delete the app and reload, when going from one house to the next.

I have had good readings until lately. I want to buy more temperature probs but can’t find any.

I bought this two weeks ago . I finally got a chance to try it outthis past weekend an d it is great if you don't want to get more than 5 feet from your grill. Otherwise it is useless. once you get more than 5 feet from it it it with the batteries and treset button and the resekeeps saying pair but it will never pair until you get within 5 feet. Tries what was suggested with the batteries and the reset switch and all that happened was the button pushed into the unit. . if it worked it would be great but it is really junk

Bluetooth does not work well. Completely stopped working after 1.5 years.

The features of the iGrill 2 are incredible! Purchased and extra food probe and the grate probe. Didn’t realize how inaccurate the lid thermometer was but makes sense why it takes so long to cook something like a pork butt on my new 26” kettle. With this, I can slow n sear 3 ribs with 3 probes and monitor the grill temp at the grate from inside my home with the app on my iPhone, and set ranges and alerts to let me know when the grill temp gets out of the desired range; too hot or too cold. Started grilling with a Weber charcoal grill since 1993 and just wish I had one of these all those years instead of a basic meat thermometer having to open the lid releasing heat and puncturing holes releasing juices every time. Used this multiple times now and this is one of the best accessories I’ve ever bought for charcoal grilling! Heck, I even used it once in my attic to see how cold it actually gets when temperatures are freezing outside; left it in for 2 days with the batteries it comes with and I’m still yet to replace temp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got for Christmas and used yesterday for the first time. Easy to set up .. easy to use .. but one probe out of the box kinked and didn’t work properly.

I love the ability to monitor the meat that is cooking in real time. It worked great. The only caution I would have is to make sure you don't leave the plastic shield on the probe cord. I somehow managed to leave that on and it melted on the grill. I don't know if there was a cautionary warning on the package or what. But just be careful.

You cannot "end" the app on your phone. The notification for the app stays after you end the cook. That's mildly annoying. What is VERY annoying is the "almost done" notifications. When it gets within 10 degrees of your target temp, it beeps annoyingly and pops up an "almost ready" reminder. But guess what? When you are cooking something low and slow, it bounces off that temperature many, many times when cooking. And it beeps EVERY F&%$ING time!

Other than that, it works well and the temps seem to be spot on.

The prongs are great and easy to use. The Bluetooth is fine and I have used it for a whole Turkey and.a whole chicken and everyone loved them.

I Love it. Makes, monitoring your grilling easy and convenient.

What proportion of the part of the probe is the thermo-detector? My roast chicken recipe says "put the probe in the thickest part of the breast", but if I insert it completely, the tip is well beyond the thickest part. My suspicion is that the detector is in the tip, but I just want to confirm.

I've had this for about 6 months. It is really easy to set up and use, you can select different cuts and automatically gives you a cooking temperature. I use it on a smoker, can monitor the internal temp and how the meat is going and get notifications when coming up to your set temp for the BBQ and meat. However the Bluetooth range is absolute rubbish. I need to sit my phone at the back door about 5m from the BBQ and the notifications are constantly going off on my phone that I've lost the Bluetooth connection, this drives my family nuts. I've tried all sorts of things to stop this, it just has rubbish Bluetooth range. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a Wi-Fi version. Until someone invents a Bluetooth booster I'd avoid this one.

Smiling Bob has nothing on this probe. Had it for several years. Probably one of the first releases. Bought the extra probes to have all four. Criticize me if you want but I’m not easy on tools. They’re meant to be abused, left dirty, dropped, etc. I treated this thermometer the same way. It was exposed to rain, heat, and always left outside in one of my trays under the grill (which I rarely put the cover on until the dead of winter). After probably close to 4 year of regular use and abuse, it died. I’m not looking at any other thermometer except another Weber product. Reliable, resilient, and you shall be missed.
