Edellinen silitysrautani irtisanoutui 8 vuoden palveluksen jälkeen ja tarvitsin tilalle perushyvän silitysraudan arkipaitojeni silittämiseen. Silitän noin kerran kuussa, enkä toivonut raudaltani sen ihmeellisempiä ominaisuuksia. Yllätyin kuitenkin positiivisesti erityisesti höyryasetuksen tehokkuudesta edelliseen rautaani verrattuna. Hintaansa nähden tämä Philipsin silitysrauta on ainakin toistaiseksi ollut loisto-ostos.

Mukavan oloinen ja toimiva silitysrauta kotikäyttöön. Lämpenee nopeasti ja höyryä tulee mukavasti. Hinta-laatusuhde todellakin kohdillaan.

Ostin ensimmäiseen kotiin siskon tytölle. Tyytyväinen on ollut.

It has a non stick sole plate and powerful steam which is a main thing for me in a iron. I would definitely recommend this iron to someone who is looking for a good value for money.

Very easy to use, glides across the garments with ease for fast ironing and the shape of the iron helps to get in all the corners. What more could you want from an iron? Very happy customer! This iron has proved to be very easy to use as the handle part is just right for my hand. Overall it is very light. Others brands have made my hands ache due to heaviness.

It glides over the fabric which I believe makes ironing quicker.

I was initially concerned with it being so lightweight that it wouldn’t be heavy enough to iron my clothes but I was pleasantly surprised that it easyily glided over my clothes quickly and easily removing light creases. It heated up quickly and was easy to fill with water without spillage. I haven’t had to use the anti-calc facility yet due to living in a soft water area but this looks straight forward in the instruction book. A great little, lightweight and compact iron for quick and easy ironing.

I felt the cord was a little too short and wrapped around the ironing board on a couple of occasions.

Water can be filled into the iron with ease and is great value for money. Steam output is on par with other irons we have used and the iron maintained it's heat well throughout a 1.5 hour use.

Just set the temperature and away you go, any stubborn creases are quickly dealt with by the continuous steam and a quick spray of water if needed.

Don’t find this iron dripping on the clothes or water deposits left behind and it’s easy to clean using the calc clean function. Overall great little iron for the budget conscious who wants features and a light weight iron for a low cost.

With this continuous steam, as well as the non-stick soleplate, the iron glides easily over the toughest clothes and makes ironing effortless. Highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions of this iron was that it is a nice design and very simple to use. It also comes with a perfectly sized water jug which was great for filling the tank.

When I first used this iron, I was impressed with how smooth it is to use. It's also very lightweight, so perfect for somebody elderly or somebody who struggles with heavy items.

The only negative I found with this iron, is that it has a rather small plate so took longer to iron than some of the better models. On the other hand, this is the iron that I will use if I need to travel taking an iron with me.

My overall view is that I would not use this as my main iron due to plate size, but it is a great quality iron for travelling, someone looking for something lightweight or perhaps a cheap iron for university. In those circumstances, this is a great product.

It's perfect for ironing small loads, but if you iron more often then one of the steam generator irons maybe more use.
