Kokemukset ja arvostelut

Bose QC30 on onnistunut valinta, kun halutaan langattomat in-ear vastamelukuullokkeet arkikäyttöön. Käytän kuulokkeita lähinnä matkustaessa junassa ja julkisilla sekä ajoittain avokonttorissa. Ennen hankintaa etsin pitkään tietoa, onko kaulassa roikkuva "sanka" häiritsevä, mutta se yllätti keveydellään ja huomaamattomuudellaan. Aktiivisessa liikkumisessa ja esim. remontoinnissa sanka valahti välillä kaulan eteen. Mutta koska sanka oli kevyt, niin lähinnä liikkumisen huomasi kun korvanapin johto kiristyi päätä kääntäessä. Itse korvanapit olivat loistavat ja istuivat hyvin korviini eivät liikkuneet, kuten esim. Applen peruskuulokkeet. En ole äänen laadun suhteen nirso, mutta esimerkiksi radio-ohjelmia kuunnellessa juontajien köhiminen ja hengästyminen häiritsivät enemmän verrattuna aiempiin kuulokkeisiin.

Kuulokkeissa olevat näppäimet toimivat hyvin iPhonen (ja Sirin) kanssa, eikä puheluiden laadussa ole moitittavaa. Akun kesto on itselleni riittävä, pärjään n. 4 päivää lataamatta omalla käytölläni. Mitä tulee vastameluominaisuuteen, olin ehkä odottanut hieman enemmän. Kovat ja yllättävät äänet kuuluivat melko hyvin läpi. Toisaalta, minulla ei ole aiempaa kokemusta vastamelukuulokkeista.

Yleisellä tasolla yllätyin kuulokkeiden toimivuudesta, joten siksi annan mielelläni tuotteelle hyvän arvosanan.

TL;DR;

Hyvät, vähän yhteysvaikeuksia välillä, Bose Control androidilla välillä vähän kenkkumainen, eikä featureiltaan mikään "loistava" säädöiltään.

Olen vasta paripäivää käyttänyt ja olen erittäin tyytyväinen silloin kun en joudu paritusleikkiin heidän ohjelmansa kanssa tai jos bluetooth yhteys alkaa pätkimään, esim puhelin kannatti siirtää vasemmasta taskusta oikealle puolelle niin pätkimistä esiintyi vähemmän.

Parittaminen tapahtui helposti NFC:tä käyttämällä, näyttää nipsukkaa luurille niin kuulokkeet pariutui laitteen kanssa samantien. Bose Control ohjelmisto androidilla tuntui erittäin hankalalta silloin kun se ei halua löytää luureja. Siinä voi mennä tovi että oppii "tavan" millä se tapahtuu varmasti. Mitään notifikaatiota ei näy kuten esim jaybirdillä että onko kuulokkeet käytössä vai ei, esim tuli huudeltua luuriin tovi kunnes muistin että luurit oli ollut just käytössä ja täten äänikin kuului sitten sieltä (sählääväkäyttäjä).

Erittäin miellyttävän tuntuinen panta, pitkänaikaa pystyi ekalla kerralla kuuntelemaan, kokonaisen 10h, en ole kokeillut pystynkö käyttämään samaanaikaan jos isken sen ulkoiseen laturiin esim. matkoilla. 2h kestää täyslataus.

Äänenlaatu ihan aivan ylivoimainen mihinkä tahansa muuhun mitä olen kokeillut aiemmin bosen, jaybird f5:sen ja muiden mallien lisäksi. Noise cancellation toimii aivan loistavasti, ääni kuuluu kirkkaasti ja napit pysyy päässä, eikä paina korvakäytävää mitenkään.

Kun puhut puhelimessa näiden kautta kuulee vastaanottaja erittäin selvästi äänesi ja koska oma ääni kait kuuluu osaksi siinä niin et ala huutamaan täysiä jossain ratikassa tai bussissa asioitasi vaan käytät normaalia äänen sävyä aivan luonnollisesti.

Hintavat mutta erinomaiset kuulokkeet. Vastamelutoiminto toimii todella tehokkaasti. Akku kesti hyvin pidemmänkin (9h) lennon. Istuu korviin todella mukavasti, pehmeä silikoni ei paina pidemmänkään (9h) käytön aikana. Kaulayksikkö kaareutuu mukavasti edestä kaulan muotoon, jolloin kaulayksikkö ei tartu esim. takin kauluksiin. Vaikea keksiä mitään negatiivista, paitsi ehkä hinta - mutta laadulla on hintansa.

Vuoden verran käytössä olleet kuulokkeet ja toista kertaa menossa Boselle vaihdettavaksi. Kuulokkeiden äänenlaatu on erittäin hyvä, mutta pannan materiaali on erittäin huonoa. Se tuntuu mukavalata, ei hierrä yms., mutta kun ulkona tulee vähääkään lämpimämpää niin panta menee kupruille, pahimmassa tapauksessa siten että et pysty enää painamaan kuulokkeita päälle.

Kuulokkeet sopii korvaan erinomaisesti koska eivät ole perinteisen nappikuulokkeen kaltaiset. Laatu ja ääni erinomaisia. Vastaä ääni tominnot on hyvät ja toimii niinkuin pitääkin. Hinnasta pieni miinus mutta sekin menee kun perustelee kokonaisuudella.

Kävin viime viikolla kyseiset luurit ostamassa

Matkalla kotiinpäin en malttanut olla avaamatta pakettia ja liittää luureja puhelimeen. Vasen kuuloke särisi älyttömän pahasti. Luulin sen ensin johtuvan joko puhelimesta tai firmwaresta. Päivitin firmwaren ja kokeilin vielä toisen puhelimen kanssa. Särinä jatkui vain. Särisi vaikka ei ollut kytkettynä mihinkään laitteeseen. Ostin luurit 1530 ja palautin ne huoltoon 1630. Koska kyse hygienia tuotteesta, niin eivät antaneet vastaavia tilalle, vaan laittoivat vain uunituoreet luurit huoltoon. Luurit tuli hankittua työkeikkaa varten mihin en nyt sitten niitä saanut matkaani. Nyt sitten odotellaan, että kuinka kauan menee ko.vehkeiden minulle palautumisessa. Toivottavasti vastaa toimivina odotuksia. Tässä vaiheessa kuitenkaan ei voi kuin yhden tähden tarjota.

Olen vuosien saatossa käyttänyt useampia BOSEn kuulokkeita ja kaiuttimia niiden korkeatasoisten ominaisuuksien vuoksi. Hankin kolme viikkoa sitten QC-30 musiikin kuunteluun ja ajoittaiseen puhelukäyttöön. Pidän itse sangattomista kuulokkeista ja hyvät käyttökokemukset mm. QC 20sta johtivat langattoman QC 30 hankintaan.

Kuuntelukäytössä äänenlaatu on hyvä, kaulapanta on lähes huomaamaton, napit istuvat hyvin korviin, käyttöönotto on yksinkertaisen helppoa niin MacBookiin kuin iPhoneen sekä muukin perustoiminnallisuus on hyvää. Suurin ja todella harmillinen puute on puhelukäyttö, surkean mikrofonitoiminnallisuuden osalta. Jos olet aivan hiljaisessa tilassa, niin puheääni välittyy jotenkuten (2/5), mutta jos puhut paikassa, jossa on vähänkään taustameteliä, niin puheääni katoaa lähes täysin. Joudut soittamaan kaverille takaisin ja puhua suoraan kännykkään. Puhelukäytössä annan laitteelle arvosanaksi 1/5. Valmistajien tukipalvelusivustojen perusteella ainakin BOSElla ja SONYlla näyttää olevan samoja ongelmia langattomien kuulokkeiden kanssa puhelukäytössä.

Äänen laatu musiikkia/radiota kuunnellessa tai elokuvaa katsoessa on erinomainen, myös puheluissa itse kuulee erittäin hyvin joka tilanteessa.

Käytettävyys hyvä, pantaa tuskin huomaa.

Akun kesto hyvä, 2-3pv välein tarvinnut ladata normaalikäytössä. Ei ole loppunut kesken päivän tehokkaammassa käytössäkään.

Puheluissa vastapuoli ei kuule, tai valittaa metelistä: esimerkiksi kävellessä kuuluu kuulemma kohinaa ja paikassa jossa muita ihmisiä, taustamelu häiritsee niin paljon ettei itsekään jaksa toistella asioita jatkuvasti.

Korvanapin suojia kolmea kokoa mutta silti ei löydy itselle täysin sopivaa, työntyy hieman ulos ja joutuu korjaamaan usein varsinkin liikkuessa.

Vastamelun säädössä häiritsee, että se on koko ajan pidettävä täysillä, esim. ei voi käyttää muualla kuin hilajisessa huoneessa vastamelun ollessa pienemmällä. Ja jos vastamelua säätää pienimmälle, eli kokonaan pois, vahvistaa se ääntä ja kuulee puheensorinan toiselta puolelta toimistoa vaikka ilman kuulokkeita ei kuulisi. Myöskään musiikkia ei voi kuunnella lman vastamelun pitämistä täysillä. Bosen vastamelu kuppikuulokkeet olivat siitä paremmat että pystyi käyttämään myös ilman vastamelua.

Kuulokkeiden päivitykset eivät ole korjanneet mitään tai tuoneet havaittavaa muutosta mihinkään.

Hinta-laatu suhteessa kyllä keskitasoa, sillä käyttötarkoitus oli puheluiden ja musiikin/radion kuuntelun päivittäiseen käyttöön.

Lentokoneessa ei ole itsellä toiminut niin hyvin kuin bosen kuppikuulokkeet.

Varauksella suosittelen paljon liikkuvalle.

Olen kokeillut monenlaisia in-ear nappeja, mutta mitkään eivät ole sopineet minulle. Nämä ovat loistavat. Pysyvät korvissa, kun oppii hiukan pyöräyttämään asetuksen jälkeen, kovemmassakin menossa. Eivät paina korvia useankaan tunnin käytön aikana. Akku riittää pitemmällekin lenkille. Pakkasella en ole vielä kokeillut, mutta varmaankin ”kaulapanta” pysyy lämpimänä takin kauluksen alla, eikä tulle sen vuoksi virran puutetta. Suosittelen!

Etsin laadukkaita vastamelukuulokkeita siihen että voisi käyttää niitä moottoripyöräillessä.

Verrattuna edellisiin halpoihin vastamelukuulokkeisiin on näissä selvä ero vaimennuksessa.

Voi ajaa 100km/h ja kuunnella musaa, äänikirjan kuuntelu sujuu hyvin 80km/h.

Sopivia korvapehmuste kokoja oli kolme ja löytyihän sieltä sopiva.

Itse kaipaisin selvää virtanappia.

Motoristille painikkeet eivät ole hyvässä paikassa, joten puhelin toiminnot on hankalia.

Napit on aika isot, joten kypärää pois otettaessa tarttuu kypärään ja lähtee päästä.

Kaulus pyöri kaulassa helposti, joten se meni hankalaan asentoon imuroitaessa,

takin alla pysyi hyvin paikallaan.

Joten en voi 100% suositella motoristille, mutta parasta vaimennusta mitä löytyi.

Ensin kivisti tuo 300€:n hinta nappikuulokkeista aivan mielettömästi, mutta nyt kun nuo hankin, niin harmittaa, etten ole hankkinu mokomia aikasemmin. Vastameluvaimennus tappiin ja voi pajalla puuhastella CNC-koneiden, puutyökoneiden, kompuroiden ja imurien melussa melkein kokonaan ilman oikeita kuulosuojaimia. Mannerheimintien liikenteen seassa poukkelehtiessa kuullostaa siltä, että KAIKKI olisivat vaihtaneet rottelonsa tuoreisiin sähköautoihin. Äkilliset iskuäänet saavat kuulokkeet toisinaan hieman "napsumaan".

Äänenlaatukin on varsin kelvollinen, ehkä itse kaipaisin pikkiriikkisen lisää kaikkein ylimpiä (tässä iässä kuultavia) kihinöitä. Akun kestokin on varsin mukava, ainakin näin uusina tuntuu kestävän erinomaisesti 1-2 päivää.

Naittaminen kapulan (Honor View 20) kanssa sujui täysin ilman mitään ähinöitä ja ärinöitä ja ainoa pikkumiinus tulee softän älyttömästä vaatimuksesta, että paikoitus pitää olla päällä.

Loistava äänenlaatu ja pitkä akun kesto. Kaulan ympärille tuleva osa saisi olla hieman isompi, mutta ei kuitenkaan purista paksukaulaistakaan. Kuulokkeiden korvaan asettelu vaatii hieman harjoittelua, mutta kun oppii, niin menee sujuvasti.

Aivan loistava tuote. Poistavat taustahälyn hyvin, käyttömukavuus loistavaja äänentoisto huippuluokkaa. Toimivat hyvin myös korvatulppien korvaajana esim. keskittyessä tenttikirjoihin tai työntekoon. Suositttelen!

Nyt kun kokeilu 3kk. Junassa, yleisissä tiloissa. Vastamelu toimii hyvin, mutta polkupyöräilessä johon hain apua tuulen suhinaan vaimennus ei toimi, sekä jokin yksittäinen ääni, esim. auton oven sulkeutuminen mielestäni vain vahvistuu.

The Bose QuietControl 30 Headphones have got to be some of the best Bluetooth headphones I have tried … and I’ve tried a good number of pairs over the years.

When you take them out of the beautifully designed box, you are presented with a set of headphones that feel great to the touch and are as comfy to wear as they are good to look at.

In the box are three different sizes of ear buds in order that you can make them fit your ears to benefit the most from the noise cancelling capabilities.

Switching them on, they are easily paired with my iPhone and by using the Bose app, the pairing was a breeze. One neat little option in the app is to rename the headphones … don’t worry ion you cannot come up with anything inspirational or unique … the random name generator means that you will never have a pair of headphones named the sea was your friends.

Within the app you are able to control the level of background noise you want to let into your ears. With a quick swoosh of the dial you are able to block everything out and concentrate on why you really bought the headphones … the sound quality. Even without the app the ability to alter the noise cancelling level on the headphone cable is helpful and incredibly easy to use.

When playing music the QuietControl 30 headphones offer an incredibly superior and sophisticated sound. The range of sound is incredible and the quality of the top and bottom ends of the range is quite something. With the noise control set to fully block out noise around you you could be in the middle of a Viennese Concert Hall immersing yourself in a Mozart recital or jumping to the mosh pit of a Guns and Roses gig. You will be transported to a different world.

The headphones work equally well with movies and television shows on your computer or tablet. With the iPad I was able to follow the helicopter around my screen the experience of actually being in the movie.

One feature of the design I like is the fact that, with the neckband, when outside you can wear only one earbud if that is your preference for safety. Equally, you can set the app to let in as much background noise as you wish to keep you safe when out walking or running at night.

I am delighted with these headphones and, I hope that I can continue to benefit from their quality in years to come. They come highly recommended!

The positives:

• Noise cancelling is great - definitely a winner here if you want in ear headphones with noise cancelling.
• sound is really good and clear.
• Battery life is pretty good.
• Neckband is comfortable enough (I have a 17.5” neck too - so was worried about this before I bought.

So why the 1*...?

• first set the rubber on the neckband peeled within 12months
• second set peeled within 9 months
• To me totally not suitable for sport - as the neckband rotates and is too annoying and also assume that the peeling must be related to moisture - but I’m not an expert.
  
  
• Most disappointing for me though was the customer service... something I hadn’t expected from Bose.
  
  
• expensive product and you have to return it before you get a replacement - essentially having no headphones for 2weeks. If you have the same issue with Fitbit - they ask for pictures to prove etc and then replace so you are not without a product.
  
  
• I emailed on a few occasions with my second replacement request and was 4 months without a response. I only got responses when I used WhatsApp.
  
  

All in all - I wouldn’t buy this again and has unfortunately put me off the company a bit too.

Although the noise cancelling and sound is all you'd expect, the microphone is poorly positioned along with the volume and noise cancelling control. People can't hear me on the phone, I'm not the only one to complain, a friend has the same headphones and the same is true for him. Drop the right hand plug out of your ear and listen to the conversation through the left while holding the microphone closer to your mouth and the person can then hear you. It seems Bose just put the control too high, too close to your ear. So if you want to use them to answer calls then you should be aware of the issue. I scored them low on durability as 10 months into ownership the rubber covering the circuitry is coming away on both sides.

I don't tend to make many phone calls, so this review will focus on the playback and noise cancelling functions.

For mobile phones, there is a Bose app for Android and IOS. I put this onto my iPhone, turned the headphones on and they immediately showed in the app.

A quick drag and it will start to connect. Rather than keeping the default name like most bluetooth devices, it forces you to create a nickname for it, and has a funny little generator to do so.

It then gives you a quick tutorial on adjusting the noise cancellation, and off you go.

Connecting it to my laptop afterwards was a little more tricky. I had to go on my phone and select 'Connect New' before my laptop would connect properly as an audio device.

It took a quick read of the manual to work out the playback controls, as play/pause and going back and forth between the device are all controlled by the button in the middle of the volume controls. 1 click is Play/Pause, 2 to skip forward, 3 to skip back. It's a bit unintuitive at first, but you get used to it.

One thing I did notice was that when you adjust the noise cancelling it doesn't smoothly transition, it kind of stutters through the different levels. However you're not likely to be tweaking this very often so it's not a big concern.

I was very impressed with the audio quality when playing music through them. Instruments were very clear and there was a wide sound space. There was a decent amount of bass but not overwhelmingly so. Just how I like it.

These aren't studio monitors, and you probably could buy a pair of those for the price, but that's not what these are designed for. If you're listening to music whilst out and about, or if you work in a noisy server room like me, then this is a great way to listen to music, and even without music to just block out the irritating general noises.

The noise cancelling was decent. Not as effective as on headphones, but that is to be expected. I had to turn it up to maximum for it to have a decent effect, and I found that I just left it on that setting.

Comfort 4/5

The buttons are a bit stiff but have a definite click to them. I did find however that on multiple occasions it would misjudge my clicks, pausing rather than moving to the next track.

As far as the neckband goes, it's very obvious they've gone for comfort over style. They are much easier to wear than ones with fixed headbands, and they're a great middle ground between ear and headphones. I find that I can lie down in bed with them and not have any issues, and that's something that I've always had trouble with before, as headphones tend to get in the way, and wired earphones tend to get caught and pulled a lot.

I found that the earbuds themselves were very cosy and I didn't have any issues with them falling out. They are very secure but also very comfortable.

I think this is a great product, but for it's RRP, I feel that it lacks the polish it deserves.

The sound quality and comfort are perfect, but it's let down by unintuitive buttons and design (The first time I tried to find the charging port in the dark, I just gave up!).

I think that if you have a need for noise cancelling earphones, then these will serve you well. They aren't perfect, but they are certainly a cut above for listening to music whilst walking outside or in noisy work environments.

This is my second pair of noise cancelling from Bose, the first being the QuietComfort 20 which is wired and is fantastic. However with the QuietControl 30 the music is good but call quality is poor, in the office environment in a meeting room I could hear clearly but the person on the other end was getting interference. Use outside is extremely poor you would tend to lose sound from the person talking to you and this is with the noise cancelling on full for both experiences. The length of the ear unit to the 'neck brace' is ok it can be fiddly as it

Bought these to provide a personal headspace for an open plan office, for music and calls. They have hugely exceeded my expectations - the sound reduction is superb, and the audio quailty excellent. If you need to be able to concentrate in a noisy office I can't recommend these enough.

The product comes packaged quite nicely with three different sizes of earbuds, the medium sized one was best for me but I only tried two of them and did not try the large as the medium were not initially comfortable but the small were too small so I swapped them back to the ones that came already attached to the product (medium). It also comes with a carrying case which initially didn't feel sturdy but I've had no issues with it and it seems to do the job of protecting the headset.

The bluetooth pairs very easy, and is extremely reliable even at a bit of a distance - I had no issue at all as it only took one button press to pair it with my phone. Blocked out fan heater and tv even without music playing initially so we were already off to a good start. This device also comes with an app which I found to be extremely easy to use and convenient when pairing my phone and other settings.

The headphones fit like a "collar" which goes around the back of your neck. It's extremely light and I forgot I had it on at several points during the day. The buds themselves are somewhat malleable and made of soft plastic so they too are pretty comfortable for long wear.

Unfortunately I wasn't ultimately impressed when I went to test these in my work environment: I'm located in an open plan office and was hoping to avoid the constant chatter of the department next to us: While the noise cancelling did reduce the level of noise I heard I could still hear the following: People talking from at least 25ft away, people typing, etc. However it seemed to be able to block out someone calling my name right next to me. I was not granted the reprieve I had hoped for. Maybe the people I work with have piercing voices and no noise cancelling can withstand them - in any event, these seemed to work everywhere but my office, I heard no noise outside, or on the train, or at home. My final point on this, terrible for windy days - the wind cuts through the headphones like noise cancelling isn't even a feature. If you must wear these outside, do so with a scarf or hood to keep the wind off of them.

When you reach maximum noise cancelling it will give you a longer "beep" tone to inform you it can't go any higher. There is a noticeable difference in the "levels" of noise cancelling, but even at max it couldn't fight off my open plan office with it's surrounding noises.

Actual music volume seemed capped in comparison to others I've had, I feel even at max level I'm losing volume somewhere. I even turned the volume up trying to avoid having to hear they keyboards and conversations around me but no avail, I still heard them. However, this being said, the noise cancelling doesn't seem to interfere with the music at all - no "static" underlying the music which is something I've found with other devices that contain the "noise cancelling" label.

The actual sound quality is excellent, I can hear every tone and was rather surprised when I revisited some previous playlists of mine to hear tones I didn't know existed in the music. It's my personal view that this is where these headphones really shine: You get maximum audio quality without sacrificing the noise cancelling feature.

Concerning battery life: I am very pleased with the quick charge time, and the headset warns you when it is running low. The port is easy to cover back up with the silicone covering of the headset so as long as you close is properly it is easy to keep clean and keep dust out of the device.

My overall verdict: This is great for blocking out "local" noise, but somehow seems to capture distant noises as if they are next to you. The headset truly shines in terms of audio quality and comfort. I can wear these for hours and forget they are there.

We all know the quality that Bose deliver, and the QuietControl 30's are no different. Superior base and sound clarity make these a must have for any music or movie fan alike. As always, the product is presented in a very neat box, which oozes class premium quality, and this is before you have even got to the product.

The contents of the box includes the headphones themselves, along with a neat carry case, USB cable and 3 sets of buds, differing in size. Connecting the product is simple enough, using Bose's easy to connect Bluetooth technology.

Sound wise, as you'd expect from a premium brand like Bose, it is hard to beat. The ability to delivery thumping bass when needed, but also clarity and softness is a hard combination to beat, although Bose delver this in full. As a commuter of 2 hours per day by Train, you need a product with a number of attributes, including noise cancellation, comfort, style and portable. I can confirm all of these were ticked with this product. The most enjoyment I got from these headphones were when they were connected to my tablet, watching a movie. I expected a great experience, but was pleasantly surprised to find that my expectations were surpassed. From watching a classic Action movie (Terminator 2), to a Comedy (Bad Neighbors), sound and clarity was spot on.

For all the greatness packed into these headphones, it would be unfair not to mention the only negative that I experienced, which to be fair wasn't actually the fault of the product. As I wear a lot of clothing/scarves where the spot around the neck is quite snug, there was a slight discomfort felt. Not unpleasant by any means, but noticeable
