The ScanWatch 2 looks great on the wrist and the battery life is excellent. These are the main positives.
The problems are with the features I actually bought it for: health and activity tracking. The watch fails to automatically detect walking, running, swimming, or cycling — the app shows my last “activity” several days ago, despite daily use. Step counts are inaccurate, often differing by more than 1,000 steps compared to another tracker worn on the same wrist. Temperature tracking is wrong: changes are not detected at all, while my Oura Ring consistently identifies clear rises from baseliine.
This device does not deliver what it promises.
