This is the second Brother Printer I have bought, though initially pleased with thr Printer and quite easy set up, you have drastically let yourselves down with the OBSCENE prices for replacement ink cartridges.

i bought this printer as my old brother packed in good printer reason for 4 stars is the inks cost nearly as much as the printer so for people who print a lot it would be very exspensive

Generally very good. Reasonably easy to set up wireless printing. Pity there is no USB cable supplied so I haven't tried this yet. Great output from my laptop - completely trouble-free. Problem with app printing from my Samsung mobile - prints in MASSIVE font and steps suggested to correct aren't relevant as buttons mentioned don't exist.

I was sorry my previous printer was too old to be compatible to our new WiFi but I’m delighted to have found this printer, very efficient

Having to replace my old printer I wanted to keep the same facilities of Wi-Fi printing, copying and scanning. The Brother does everything required. Compared to my old system the new unit is much smaller and quieter. As I only do documents the print quality is more than acceptable. Setting up was helpful and a doddle.

I needed to print stuff this was a good price it took me cages to connect though. Itcwould nit connect to ky phone or chromebook or even windows laptop.

I had to order a physical cable. Itcworks now but only on my laptop. I can use my phone which id blooming annoying

I don't use a printer very much, and over the last few years have had problems with the various printers I've bought ... not easy to set up; not staying online; not being easy to use; not being user-friendly etc. So I was unsure how a Brother printer would turn out. What a great and pleasant surprise it was to me that it was easy to set up, and so easy to use for printing and scanning. No hassle. Does the job I want. Thank you Brother.

I have no words! The best printer I've ever bought. Great features, easy to install and use. I love the free subscription for ink, and you can chose your subscription based on useage. Definately value for money. I have another brother product, a scan n cut, so I knew this printer was a safe bet.

i got it yesterday had a job getting it sorted but very pleased with the printing.much better than the one it replaces.havnt trie photos yet

Really easy to set up. Easy to use . No WiFi problems . Prints well

When my old WiFi printer died , although it was hard wired as I gave up on the WiFi function, I was initially hesitant to try another wi-if printer. I had never tried the Brother brand and the purchase price was very attractive so I risked it. The set up was child’s play and it worked first attempt. That never happens! I can print from my poor phone easily. Print quality is perfect. It is early so I can’t comment on ink life etc but so far so good and it’s the first WiFi printer I have had that has worked without a cable!

Easy to set up even for a novice like me, particulary like front loading paper.

mainly bought DCP J1260W due good experience with Brother products some years ago. Not as impressed as I was hoping to be. Inks seem expensive.

Needed a new home printer.

This choice came after many printer reviews, have gone for the instant print as well

The only question I have is do I need to replace my cartridges as just purchased and then the first ones came for the instant ink,

Do I put these in or wait until the original run out?

I hope I don’t keep getting messages about connection, I do not keep my printer on al the time

Replaced my old Epson printer and I am glad I changed brands. Cheaper than the others and does the job well.

Easy to use from computer and by WiFi. Will see how long the inks last. So far happy with this printer.

Fits perfectly in my computer cupboard space, pleased with the printing/scanning quality and happy with the price.

Why do Brother not recognise the password printed on the back of my device? This is not good practice! I do not recommend purchasing a brother product, as you will not be able to register it.

I love this Brother printer.It is so easy to use.I would recommend it.I have had many Brother printers over the years and I think they are the best.

excellent home printer easy to set up easy to use takes up little space

Had a succession of Brother printers previously so an obvious choice for a replacement. Selected this model as it seemed closest to the outgoing one. Brother, what have you done over the last six years? Why is it necessary for a printer to need a password? After some considerable time, managed to get it working on one device but then trying to link to the rest, I lost the will to live! Sent it back, bought an Epson instead & set up on all devices in a matter of minutes - no passwords required!

Easy set up, ready to go in no time. Was quick and easy. Delighted with this purchase. Perfect.
