Whilst the sound and features are excellent, there is on big BUT. It is not possible to individually adjust the balance of the rear speakers?. This has to be one of the most important things to allow sound balance unless you have the space to have equal distances between speaker placement and the seating zone. I cant believe at this price point, this basic feature is missing.

I have always used a soundbar and sub woofer with my televisions as usually they are required given the poor audio output from speakers on televisions. However in this case it is fair to say the audio output from my new LG television’s speakers is better without the soundbar and sub woofer, so feel I have probably wasted money and am likely to return item. Disappointed!

It is easy to set up and operate, and there are many features which I have yet to explore. This is my first major LG product, and I'm hoping for better longevity than my previous system of a different brand, which failed twice in only three years. Historically, I'm a 'hi-fi separates' user, but so far, I'm impressed with this system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The subwoofer and sound bar are significantly better than some of the cheaper offerings from LG, although the up firing speakers don’t seem to be as effective. The rear speakers are excellent when listening to surround sound music, and the ability to connect to the sound bar over Wi-Fi is a welcome addition.

Importantly, the sound bar fixed a surround sound issue I was having with one of my HDMI devices (Nintendo Switch), by using it as a pass through to the TV. Now that function works as intended. As a result, I’ve been able to keep a HDMI port on my LG TV spare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to take a gamble and go for an upgrade from my LG SL9YG 4.1.2. (Didn't have rear speakers)

Unfortunately I don't considered it an upgrade in fact it's more of a downgrade, sound isn't great and more quiet than the previous one, the back speakers seem to overcompensate and sometime overwhelm the actual soundbar making it hard to hear normal conversation, even when I've reduced the "db" on the back speakers.

The subwoofer is lack-luster when comparing to my previous one, there is no punch to it and had to raise the db to get any decent results even then it's; lack of a better word; "meh"

Wowcast is a gimmic, having it installed via HDMI arc or optical, sounds better and if you play console then you have to connect HDMI anyway so it becomes an obsolete use

Quick one, wow orchestra, hear no difference.

Wouldn't recommend and if you still have a 6 year old soundbar it is probably just as good or better than latest modles in my opinion

The quality sound super . I bought from verkokauppa. When i bought the rate is 549 in black in offer. But after that they decrease the rate

Sounds way better than expected. I wasn’t actually expecting this to sound as good as my 930d soundbar. But with calibration enabled it’s so much better especially the bass. Treble is really well tuned.
