It keeps them entertained for a long time while helping develop fine motor skills and creativity. The pieces are colorful, durable, and safe. I love how it encourages pretend play and even inspires real cooking fun later. Great quality and super engaging — definitely a favorite in our toy collection!

My daughter got this chef set a few weeks ago. She loves baking her cookies and adding the chocolate chip on top. I love how creative it gets her mind going, making the cookies to taking and baking them in her play kitchen and then serving us hot baked cookies!

Of course, my kids immediately mixed up each color that came with this little kit, but they’ve had a blast “feeding” their stuffies these adorable pretend nachos.

My kids were entertained for while with the kinetic sand and love the pretend play of making nachos. It’s somewhat educational.

It has a kinetic sand type of material that allows kids to cut, shape and play with on top of the normal play food. It comes with tomato, avacado, chips, sour cream, and even black beans. The box turns into your own personal table and plate as well! Hours of fun for the whole family.

The set comes with all the things to make play nachos. The pieces are colorful as well as the play do so can be used for colors and shape learning. My grandson is 3 years old and it was safe for him to play with no tiny parts that could be choking hazards.

My child had the best time “cooking” their own nachos—cutting, mixing, and building with all the fun, detailed pieces. The visual recipe card is such a smart touch, and I love that it encourages creativity and fine motor skills while keeping them fully engaged.

The packaging turning into a play table is honestly genius. It made cleanup easy and gave my little chef their own space to work and play. The Make-It! Mix is so fun to squish and pretend with (and yes, we had to remind them it’s not real food!).

It’s such a great mix of hands-on learning and imaginative play. Highly recommend for any kid who loves helping out in the kitchen or just enjoys getting creative!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Tikes Creative Chef Nachos kit is absolutely adorable and a perfect set for my 3 and 5 year old to bond over. It's a fun set for pretend nachos. It comes with Make It Mix (craft dough) to add even more creativity. Some ingredients like the olives are plastic pieces, but others like cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, and sour cream are all playsand some are soft and some are firm. The cheese and sour cream play sand have sealable containers for storage. For avocados and tomatoes the sand was in small plastic bags, so I had to search for some other container to store them. The play sand and molds are fun! There is a recipe card that your child could use if you are working in the following directions. The knife, bowl and all containers are made of plastic and seem to withstand the rough handling of kids. All in all my kids enjoyed playing this set. I definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to let my kids test out Little Tikes Creative Chefs Nachos Kit-Play Cooking Set for free in exchange for my honest review. This set is very cute and comes with 22 different pieces. This set really elevates play cooking/eating to a whole new level. My kids enjoy this and learning how to “mix and cut”. I love that the box it comes in serves its own purpose too. I would definitely love to share this with my son’s daycare and I would recommend these sets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a fun set for pretend nachos. The set comes with a couple of sealable containers for the cheese and sour cream. It would be nice to have ones for the avocado and the tomato, but I have some ziplock bags that work. The play sand and molds are fun! The cheese and sour cream are softer sands, and the tomato and avocado are harder sands. We had a little hard time with the sour cream mold since the play sand wouldn't come out, almost too soft. The slicing of the avocado and tomato look nothing like the photos on the box, haha. It is also impossible to keep all the sand from mixing. A refill kit could be nice down the road for when the sand inevitably dries out, gets mixed, or disappears. It is nice that there are some pieces that could be used with a play kitchen if you chose to no longer use them with the play sand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Tikes Creative Chef Nachos kit is one of the cutest toys I have ever seen. It's not only a food playset. It comes with Make It Mix (craft dough) to add even more creativity. Some of the ingredients are plastic pieces, while the food containers contain the dough that can be turned into the other parts of the nachos. The tomato, avocado, and sour are also used as the mold to create the ingredients out of dough. The knife cuts through the dough very easily and lets my little one feel like he is truly making the nachos himself. The avocado and tomato container have holes in them, so the dough can't be stored in them without drying out. I guess you could use the resealable chip bag if you didn't have your own ziplock bags. There is a recipe card that your child could use if you are working on following directions. One of my favorite parts of the product is the box. It flips inside out and turns into the cutest play table. Overall, my son really enjoyed playing with this toy. As he gets older, I believe he will enjoy it even more.

Absolutely great ! I purchased two others (waffle and pan PB and J kit) this one was really good for his motor skills and creativity and the mix was perfectly made not crumbly. (Waffle kit was good too ! PB and J not so much !)

Received as a birthday present for my 3 year old who absolutely loves it. Only wish there was a way to purchase the sand separately as this stuff is AMAZING!

The packaging is adorable as it includes a process for turning the box inside out to become a play table. My 4 year old loves the tools included and had so much fun playing with the set. My only complaint is that the cookie dough component of the product is basically kinetic sand, which can be messy and a little difficult to clean up when small bits fall out of the play area. I feel that it would be labeled as such to prevent upset by parents like myself who only purchase a more play-doh like consistency of product NOT the play sand.
