Cinematic experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent budget option for the size, you will not find cheaper. Best suited for a darker environment as the black are perfect.
I have not tested in a light condition due to being winter and having darker room but OLED is known to preform in darker conditions.
Choice of option to select best viewing mode. However, brightness in HDR to fully display highlights but most HDR content looks excellent.
The TV is also a great option for gaming.
A solid option for watching content with a group of friends due to its wide viewing angle.
Pros
Near-infinite contrast ratio for perfect blacks with no blooming around bright highlights.
Incredibly wide viewing angle for a consistent image from the sides.
Colours are vibrant, lifelike and bright.
Great picture and sound, not-so-great interface
Summary:
Excellent picture quality with deep blacks and vivid colours, and good picture setting customisation and tweaking. Great sound quality, decent bass and good in-built surround-sound emulation. Streaming app selection is reasonable but no side-loading of apps and very limited customisation of ugly user interface causes this TV to be 4* instead of 5*. I paid €899 on sale, but not pay €1,399 (the price as of writing this review).
Positives:
I've had this TV for around a month now and am really pleased with the both the picture and sound quality. This is both my first 4K TV and first OLED TV, so I was pleasantly surprised by the crisp quality of the screen and the incredible contrast between bright and dark areas. I know that OLED TVs have a more limited brightness range than other screen types (e.g., QLED) and the default settings make the screen feel a little lacklustre, but the TV has a program which helps you optimise the image settings to suit your content and viewing habits, and it's easy to optimise the settings to get more vivid and bright colours. The sound quality is a huge improvement from my last TV - I was planning to use a separate sound bar, but the sound quality was good enough (nice loudness, decent bass and surround-sound emulation) that I decided not to invest in a sound bar in the end (especially as I live in an apartment and care about my neighbours). The TV has energy saving settings and good OLED-care features which can help counteract the typical OLED burn-in issues that older OLED screens can suffer from. I would list LG's TruMotion (motion smoothing) as a negative because I'm generally not a fan of smoothing frame rates of all media, but they have included a minimal TruMotion setting of "Cinematic Movement", which only attempts to smooth the judder effect seen in films and shows with fast action or camera movement, but otherwise preserves the original framerate as best as possible. This redeems the TruMotion feature for me but with the other (higher smoothing) settings, films and TV shows all have a very cheap "soap opera" look. I don't watch much sport, but I assume the higher TruMotion smoothing would work better for that.
Negatives:
I like customisable interfaces and the ability to install my favourite apps. The LG app store has all of the main streaming apps, but is missing some of the ones I routinely use on my android streaming device. The main interface, where you select apps and see recommended shows, can be changed only in a very limited fashion with a large space for advertised films and shows (that I really don't care about) that cannot be removed. The LG operating system does not allow side-loading of apps so if the app is not in your app store, you can't use it directly with the TV. In addition, to access the LG app store, you need to create an LG account and are forced to agree to a lot of collection of personal data, which annoyingly seems to be the way nowadays. Another minor problem is that the CEC feature (which allows your main device connected through HDMI to communicate with the TV) is a little bugged. I use an android streaming box as my main streaming device, which switches the TV on when it switches itself on. After around 2 weeks of normal use, the LG TV seems to run into some CEC synchronisation issues which creates an endless loop of the TV and my android box switching each other on and off repeatedly. This can only be fixed by power cycling both devices. I have used the android box with 5 other TVs and never had this issue before.
Sam35–44vPerfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Products are of very high quality. Picture quality is perfect for the tv and sound very quality for soundbars. Noise doesn't travel out of house even when on high just like a real cinema
hyvä halpa oledi
paneeli hyvä. käyttöjärjestelmä LGOS pyörii juuri ja juuri prosessorilla, mutta on turhan raskas käyttää. vaatisi kevyempää käyttöliittymää.
fredde25–34vFairly priced, decent picture. Great sound. Bravo!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent picture. Deep blacks. Surprisingly good sound. Slightly tricky to set up but probably because I am the wrong side of 50.
Easy to set up and use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the picture quality. Easy to setup and got a good deal.
Loving it so far
I bought one earlier in the year but it became faulty so I returned it.
This one, so far, is going great!
It's a great TV.
Dreadful software
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv about 6 months ago, the picture is great but the software is absolutely dreadful. The TV will randomly turn itself off and then a message pops up "The app will restart to free up memory", after checking forums this seems to be a common issue with LG tvs. No apps are being used, I'm just watching freeview.
The tv guide is also pretty awful and sometimes just won't navigate correctly. This is the first LG tv I've bought and it will probably be the last.
Good TV
Still using it over time I can tell more so far good tv very sharp picture quality and sound is very nice
OLED55B4ELA - Top Teir TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An aboustly brilliant TV. It has a great picture and perfect colours. The sound quality is very impressive. The navigation system for the TV is easy to use and easy to learn. I honeslty cannot think of a fault with this product. Above and beyond better than any other high level brand on the market.
Would definitely recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tv! Sound is good, tv is very pretty and obviously upgrading from a 49” 10 year old tv, colours are super “real” and vivid!
Well worth the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tv very clear and sounds really good. What an improvement on my previous one
Fantastic, budget friendly OLED
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great image quality, easy to use remote and phone app. Easy to setup and the WebOS runs smoother than anticipated.
Hyvältä vaikuttaa ainakin alkuun
Hyvä kuvanlaatu ja sujuva käyttöliittymä. Hyvät liitännät.
Otto35–44vGood Quality TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannont fault this, does everything we want. The picture quality is superb, sound is pretty good for a TV, but a sound bar or surround sound system is much better for movies and action/drama series. My surround amp has issues with the latest incarnation of HDMI, but this was easily solved using an optical lead to output the sound from the TV to the amp.
Amazing OLED LG TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a OLED TV 65" of happiness, Excellent price, Robust product, quality pictures, the black colour in space movies is immersive!
Decent but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm happy with it. But it's not worth the full price. Excellent colours and resolution, decent connectivity. WebOS can still be laggy and it has got Ads! Paying for a product/service to receive ads makes me quite unhappy. I'm not sure if I'll choose to buy LG next time due to this.

Excellent picture quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] excellent quality and price. It took me a while to get used to the remote, and I had to adjust the sound settings, otherwise excellent.
Don't buy this tv
TV doesn't work, red light on start button just keeps fkashing
