[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the 65-inch LG OLED evo AI G5 4K, and I can confidently say this is hands down the most impressive TV I’ve ever owned. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the incredible picture quality — deep, inky blacks, perfect contrast, and colors that just pop off the screen without ever looking oversaturated. Every scene feels cinematic, and the level of detail is jaw-dropping.

The AI Picture and Sound Pro features really do make a difference. The TV automatically optimizes brightness and tone based on the room lighting and the content, so whether I’m watching a movie at night or sports in daylight, it always looks amazing. The α11 AI Processor is super fast, and the motion handling is buttery smooth — ideal for gaming and live sports.

Speaking of gaming, the Game Optimizer and HDMI 2.1 ports make this TV a dream for my PS5. Input lag is practically nonexistent, and the graphics look unreal in 4K with HDR.

The design is another highlight — the G5’s Gallery Style mount sits flush against the wall, giving it a sleek, modern look that blends beautifully into my living room. Even the webOS interface is intuitive and snappy, with all the major streaming apps ready to go right out of the box.

Sound quality is rich and clear, and with AI Sound Pro, it feels like voices and effects are coming from all around the room. I was surprised at how immersive it is even without a soundbar.

In short, the LG OLED evo AI G5 is a masterpiece of TV technology. It’s bright, smart, elegant, and built to impress. Whether you’re into movies, sports, or gaming, this TV elevates everything you watch.

If a had a gripe it would that you definitely need a sound bar otherwise the sound is a little thin for my liking.

After several emails of "it's taking longer than expected with the cashback", it was paid into my account on 22-Oct. Exactly 4.5 months. Are you telling me that LG has this sort of cashflow problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this TV to replace an old LG TV, because it was too small for the living room in the new house. It was very easy to set up the new TV, and it's much quicker to go through menus than the old one, and the picture is amazing!

The 2 delivery guys also did a great job getting it in the house, getting the stand attached, and cleaning up after themselves too

Upea kuvanlaatu jo tehdasasetuksilla. Helppo käyttöönotto ja tuttu toimiva käyttöjärjestelmä. Uusi riisutumpi magic remote kaukosäädin on mielestäni askel taaksepäin. Edellinen oli jo todella sulava käytössä… harmi.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my TV in May 2025, and its been a blast to watch my favourate films and programmes, I recommend the unit to my daughter who purchase the same unit as well as two of my family friends. My younger son is always using his sony game console to hook up and enjoy the fast refesh rate and the resolution is awesome. On days when I am working from home, using the built-in speakers gaves the perfect backgroud audio for quite working envirnoment while catching up on what is going on with current news.

It’s an excellent TV - but you expect that for the price. I’ve taken a star off because:

1. the screen is very glossy and reflective - makes it hard to get the best except in pitch black conditions.
2. the brushed aluminium trim round the outside of the bezel is ‘meh’ given the bezel is black, the TV is black, the trim should also be black. As it is, it catches the eye and not in a good way.
3. the screen is not flat. Nothing that effects the performance as a TV and I’m sure it’s within tolerance, but side on you can see the distortions in the reflections from the slight ‘hills and valleys’ in the screen.
   
   

It does the job, and I won’t be sending it back, but next time I’ll probably try the Samsung equivalent.

I haven't upgraded my TV for about 7 years, and can't believe how far we've come. This TV far exceeded all expectations, and since seeing it several family members are now saving for a new LG OLED. Can't recommend this highly enough.

Nyt vaihtui aiempi Samsung 55" tähän LG G5 65" versioon ja olen kyllä hyvin tyytyväinen LG:n laatuun kuten myös koko perhe on uudesta telkkarista nauttinut.

The picture quality is absolutely breath-taking — deep blacks, vibrant colours, and incredible contrast make every movie and show feel cinematic. The 65-inch screen is the perfect size for immersive viewing, and the ultra-thin design adds a modern, elegant touch to my living room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice TV but very confusing systems, not intuitive at all, and it doesn't link automatically to the soundbar. Whenever Alexa is used, the sound goes completely off even though the volume is turned up.

Upgraded from a 10+ year old lg 49inch lcd (which still works perfectly fine) and was blown away with the picture quality. The TV’s an absolute treat for my eyes
