I have had the LG B1 and LG C1 which I thought that their pictures were good, but this LG G5 is on a different level. No matter what type of picture you are watching (HD, SD HDR or Dolby Vision) the picture is superb. I particuarly like the AI personalised picture wizzard which adjusts the picture setting by giving you a series of picture examples to choose from. Highly recommended TV

Picture quality is good although there's black saturation lines on some viewing

Struggles with Dolby Vision and will loose signal on the channel with Sky Q or Xbox so had to revert to HDR+ as there is no fix/update yet.

Disappointed that the remote is exactly the same, again.

AI picture generator is good but credit based?!

Over all worth the money with the cash back, films in 4k are smooth and sharp and gameplay is very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month or so ago. First May I say it is an amazing tv, great picture and amazing sound, surpassing a friends sound bar. The only snag was the lack of UK “catch up” apps. However LG have been amazing, their service centre took charge and over a period of a month all the catch up apps bar one have come in.

The AI sound setting is fantastic and the upscaling on the picture from dvds is likewise amazing.

The only thing it is lacking is a 3D setting, which for some unknown reason has been dropped from recent tvs.

Set up was easy and the abundance of HDMI sockets really helps with today’s myriad of connections needed.

Although a little pricy, well worth the expense. After all you get what you pay for don’t you?

Dislike adverts being splattered all over the UI soI use my Apple TV instead for apps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched the market extensively and decided I wanted to buy an LG TV as they are one of the leading manufacturers and also supply many panels to other manufacturers. I visited Richer Sounds in Brighton and after discussions and demonstration settled on the OLED55G54LW TV. Super design and just stunning picture quality. We have paired it with a Marantz home cinema amplifier with 11 speakers and the whole experience is just out of this world. The remote control is back lit which is another definite advantage in the evenings. Easy set up and a delight to use. Best TV I have bought to date
