LG 97" OLED evo G5 – 4K TV seinätelineellä

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 10 years of loyal service from my trusted LG OLED55B6V, I finally decided it was time to upgrade. My old TV was brilliant, but a decade of heavy use with static TV channel logos and subtitles had eventually caused some screen burn-in.

​Moving to the OLED65G64LW has been an absolute revelation. The jump from 55 to 65 inches is impressive on its own, but the sheer leap in technology over the last ten years is mind-blowing.

​The brightness levels on this G-series panel are a massive step up from my old B6—it handles room reflections effortlessly while keeping those famous, perfect OLED blacks. Knowing how much LG has advanced their built-in panel-care features, logo luminance adjustment, and anti-burn-in tech over the years gives me massive peace of mind this time around, especially for broadcast TV and subtitles.

​The design is a work of art it mounts incredibly flush to the wall, looking completely seamless and premium. The smart webOS interface is also lightning-fast compared to older generations.

​If you are hesitating to upgrade an older OLED, don't look back. This is a masterful piece of engineering and proves why LG still leads the way.

Had to reroute existing cable layout as different than my previous TV. Fantastic picture. Very bright. For my personal taste i toned down the reds a little.. Very impressed.

Olen todella tyytyväinen kuvaan ja toimii hyvin oman LG SoundBarin kanssa. Ainoa mitä moitin päivitys poisti joitain asetuksiani mutta saa tietenkin takasisin.

For context, I was looking for:

• A flagship TV for the cinematic experience
• TV able to handle video games
• Enough brightness due to the large window in the living room

If you're tv isn't about to be exposed in direct sun, let me tell you one thing: daylight isn't a big deal with this TV: It's bright enough, reflection is handled very well by the pannels and diminishes them a maximum. (Dark movies or video games will be hard to watch in day light doesn't matter the TV).

Kudos to LG to give you your mode based on what you like in terms of images.

Terävä kirkas hyvä kuva. Helppo navigoida valikoissa. Ainoa miinus tuotteelle on kaukosäädin joka on vähän liian pelkistetty

Kuvan laatu on todella hyvä. Käyttöönotto meni helposti, seinäasennus oli helppoa, mutta tarvii kaksi henkilöä.

Käyttöliittymä on hieman hidas, olisin odottanut nopeempaa kun aivan uusi malli.

Loistavalla kuvanlaadulla oleva TV. Asettuu todella siististi seinälle mukana tulleella seinätelineellä. TV:n käyttöönotto kävi kohtuu helposti jos on yhtään käyttänyt elektronisia laitteita.

Vaihdoin Samsung 8 sarjan tv:n tähän LG malliin. Kävin monesti lukemassa netissä arvosteluja ja vertailuja. Sekä katsomassa silmiä hivelevää kuvaa liikkeessä. Olin jo pitempään päättänyt, tämän G5 mallin tulevan seuraavaksi tv:ksi. Kuvan laatu on kirkas ja vakaa, sekä monipuoliset säädöt ja ohjelmat ovat plussa ominaisuuksia tässä mallissa. TV:n ääni on jo pelkästään loistava ja riittävä, mutta oma kotiteatteri Marantz+Genelec G3 olivat vielä piste I-iin päälle. Ei tarvi lähteä konserttiin,kun saman kokemuksen saa kokea kotisoffalla. Hinta oli noussut oman tv:n jälkeen,mutta ehdottomasti koko eurojen arvoinen ostos.

Todella tyytyväinen uuteen telkkariin. Integroidun seinätelineen kanssa menee täysin seinää vasten ja on kuin taulu, 65” ei tunnu liian isolta, kun TV ei vie tilaa tasoilta. Helppo kiinnittää seinään. TVn käyttöönotto oli todella helppoa, selkeät controllit ohjaimessa, intuitiivinen käyttöliittymä. Kuvanlaatu kirkkaassakin huoneessa erittäin hyvä. Sisäinen kaiutin ei voita ulkoista, mutta ajaa erittäin hyvin asiansa, etenkin tekoälyavusteisena.

I recently purchased this TV and have been extremely impressed with its performance. The picture quality is outstanding, with vibrant colors, sharp detail, and excellent brightness. Watching movies and sports feels incredibly immersive thanks to the crisp image and smooth motion handling.

The sound quality is also surprisingly good for a flat-screen TV, providing clear dialogue and rich audio without needing external speakers. Setup was quick and easy, and the smart TV interface is fast, user-friendly, and offers access to all the major streaming apps.

Overall, this TV offers excellent value for the price. It combines fantastic picture quality, reliable performance, and useful smart features into one package. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality television.
