This was a 55” upgrade to a 2017 49” Sony. So of course the tech has moved on, as has the performance.

Setup was extremely simple.

No need for a soundbar now, at least it would need something far better than what I have to improve the native sound quality.

Picture is excellent, no blooming from deep blacks that the older set suffered from.

Nothing negative to report to date.

Best tv purchased, better than the previous Sony we owned by far. Always had Sony and always will!

I brought this Sony 65 inch oled tv a couple of weeks ago. It was very easy to set up and I spent quite a bit of time adjusting the picture to fine tune it to my liking ( the picture out of the box is very good but with a bit of fine tuning it really is incredible) Some people have remarked that the picture is not bright enough. I can only think this is due to poor setting up, as mine has excellent brightness and incredible blacks. The colour palette can be tuned to perfection. I had a 65inch LG oled prior to this Sony. This Sony is far superior. The sound from the TV speakers is the best I have experienced, crystal clear. In conclusion I believe Sony is the class leader in TVs

Sound sync with picture is impossible with soundbar. Useless.

Todella erinomaiset värit ja kontrastit kaikissa valaistusoloissa. Äänen laatu niin hyvä etten tarvitsekaan erillisiä kaiuttimia. Tämä on elämäni neljäs Sony tv. Kaikkia olen käyttänyt kerrallaan yli 10 vuotta ja lahjoittanut toimivina edelleen tarvitseville.

Fantastic tv with superb pucture and sound. However, would have given 5 stars if the instructions to set up the TV were written in a language that people, other than the technical designers, could understand.

This is a fantastic TV. The picture is just amazing. I replaced a compete 5.1 home theatre system with this TV, Theatre Bar 9 and Subwoofer, plus also a Sony Bluray player and it is all outstanding! 👍

I bought this TV to replace my XR55A90Jand glad I did.

Televisio on nyt ollut käytössä noin kuukauden ja olen tyytyväinen. Pitkän vertailun jälkeen päädyin Sony:n lippulaivamalliin, koska arvostelujen perusteella on markkinoiden kärkeä, ellei paras televisio 2025. Aiempi televisioni oli LG OLED C9.

Käyttöönotto oli helppoa, erityismaininta laadun tunnusta television materiaaleissa, jalat tuntuvat painavilta sekä kestäviltä. Kaukosäädin hieno ja helppokäyttöinen ilman raivostuttavaa rullaa ja MagicRemote-ominaisuutta…

Kuvan laatu on ilmiömäinen, kuten odottaa saattaa ja erityisesti luonnolliset vahvat värit astuvat esiin. Varjot ovat tummat ja yksityiskohtaiset, musta on todellakin mustaa. Televisio on riittävän kirkas myös aurinkoisessa huoneessa.

Erityisesti HDR-sisältö erottaa kirkkaudellaan, mutta SDR ei siitä omaan silmään paljon kalpene kirkkauden suhteen. Televisiossa lisäksi omat Calibrated-tilat suoratoistolle sekä DolbyVision! Kuvanlaatua on helppoa säätää haluamakseen lukemattomien asetusten johdosta, mutta kuvanlaadun saa näyttämään hyvältä hyvin pienin säädöin lähelle ”kalibroitua”.

Google TV:n käyttöjärjestelmä on paras tähän asti kokemistani. Parempi kuin LG:n WebOS sekä ehdottomasti parempi kuin Samsung:in Tizen.

Äänenlaatua en ole kokeillut, sillä soundbar hoitaa sen puolen. Vihdoin kaiutin mahtuu television alle Sony:n sounbar-asennon ansiosta!

Television prosessori saa huonolaatuisen kuvankin näyttämään yllättävän tarkalta! Tämä etuna erityisesti henkilöille, jotka katsovat kaapeli TV:n kanavia. Televisio vastaa hyvin kaukosäätimeen ja kaikki tapahtuu nopeasti, ilman bugeja.

Excellent TV and fully integrates with Quad Theatre resulting in excellent picture and sound. Highly recommended.

This is a TV with some very good features and it has an excellent picture. The downside is that for the average person to understand it properly, it is difficult. For example, we loved the fact that there are multiple inputs such as Freeview, Youview and catch up TV and Google TV however switching between these inputs can be tricky. Unlike other brands of TV, there is no Aspect Ratio button on the remote control so that older programs can be watched in widescreen. This means that if the program you are watching was originally broadcast in 4:3 you cannot alter it to display in 16:9 as with other brands. When watching digital channels, the time taken to switch channel is around 12 seconds for some reason. The sound, even without a soundbar is excellent and plenty of bass, not tinny at all. If Sony had thought about ease of customer use, I would rate this TV excellent.

Excellent picture and sound - I can see so much more now!!

I have the TV now for 2 weeks its mounted on a quad pod stand which includes the Sony soundbar 8 with all accessories Sky puck, Apple TV and Blu-ray player mounted at the back so only the mains wire and Ethernet cable routed neatly so no bulk of wires/cables trailing on the floor so all is vey neat and compact.

One issue mapping the sky stream puck remote to the Sony remote was not possible with no clear instructions to achieve this which means I have to use 2 remotes to access all channels/devices. The limitation of 4 HDMI ports was a problem, however the Sound bar gave me the additional HDMI ports for the Blu-Ray player.

Although I didn't really need a new TV so glad I bought this. Have always,s had sony this.

Had this a few weeks and very impressed so far. Very easy to setup. Professional picrture mode works best for my room and with the Sony sound bar 9 it links really well. It also has a cable included to use the TV speakers as the centre speaker. Highly recommended

Very pleased with the product very straight forward instructions chat line was very helpful with connecting my hearing aids to the TV

I tested every major TV on the market and this is hands down the best I've seen. The colours are incredible, the motion stays true to the original frame rate and gaming looks great. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the operation system is laggy and not so dynamic, it only comes with 2 HDMI 2.1 outputs, the free Sony Core app never works (though if it did it would be amazing :) For the TV by itself though, it looks amazing

I bought this TV a few days ago, and I have to say it's truly impressive! The color depth, image quality, and support for multiple display and audio modes. The extensive and very clear menu. A great TV for watching streaming movies, gaming, or your home movie library. I highly recommend it!

Laggy, lots of bloatware. Couldn’t get rid of some of applications. Dont want to use any of BBC stuff!

Free included Sony movies are old, nothing interesting.

Purchased about 2 weeks ago . I find the picture and sound to be excellent as was my previous sony tv . The Only i found was the placing of the feet . We had to purchase a new cabinet to accommodate the tv.
