Sound is not so clear and satisfying. I previously own many sony earphones and Headphones. Sony XB700 was very good with bass. Expected the same but this disappointed me even after spending 3 times more money for this new ones. Loose earbuds falling from my ears

I bought these earbuds about a month ago. I have used them mainly when in the gym - primarily on the treadmill. Excellent sound quality. They are a little tricky to get used to and I'm still finding my way with them. The buds tend to work loose whilst I'm running. They also take a little while to connect to my phone, so I have to be patient when first using them. I'm also still getting used to the various features that are activated when you touch the buds themselves, when in place (e..g skipping tracks, adjusting the volume etc).

Glad I bought it but it has a few niggles: fitting and volume control mainly.

Aivan loistava äänenlaatu, vastamelu pääsee työmatkoilla bussissa vielä testiin. Ihanan paljon kaikenlaista muokkaustoimintoa puhelimen kautta. Istuvat pieniin korviini hyvin useamman sovitepalan ansiosta. Vaaleiden väri voisi olla kivampi, nyt näyttää vanhentuneen harmailta.

Early days so far but I am impressed. The fit test is especially good. Once I got the right tips in the sound was hugely better.

Sound is decent enough although for me, tapping the piece is not responsive enough. I'm also disappointed in how poorly they remain in place in the ear. Overall I regret buying them.

I have been using these earbuds for almost a month now and im enjoying it. The sound quality is really good, punchy bass and able to hear many elements in the songs in the mid range. Only issue is that it loses connectivity at times almost every day and keeps losing between each buds which annoys me. It would be a perfect pair of buds if this issue wouldnt have happened.

Great sound, usually Headphones for me, but these buds much more convenient.

Reasonably comfortable, maybe I could go even smaller on the tip for one side, but they feel secure.

Lots of features and tweaking available in the app, particularly the mode changes when walking, sitting etc

I am supposed to believe that the quality should be good.

Unfortunately none of the airbuds tips in the box does fit well in my ears.

So noice cancelling is not good as they are not "air-proof".

So I must go to find other airbud tips before I can say they are good.

These are ok. The sound optioms are great but I don't find the noise cancelling to be effective and none of the ear plugs feel comfortable. Feel like I'm committed now due to price and hardly able to return them having been in my ears trying to get used to them.

Jos täysin hiljaista niin ainostaan sillon näiden kanssa voi puhua. Viiden käyttöpäivän jälkeen sain uudet tilalle, ei auttanut asiaan. Muuttui jopa huonommaksi.

These earbuds are truly amazing, paired with my Sony experia 10 vii they sound really good , to be honest they do really well with every type of music and that's what I was looking for.

Received as a present to match my new music player. All ticketyboo so far need to get the app to broadden my usage horizon.

I bought this product, it broke after 5 months, right ear bud stopped charging. Took 8 weeks to get a replacement. Replacement broke 2 weeks later. Very disappointed

I recently bought a pair of Sony WF-1000XM5 and have been really disappointed not only with the quality of sound and speech, but also the with the lack of switching ability between devices - I have to manually switch them and even then after a few goes they often still don’t work so I give up. Expected a lot more for the money. Trying to contact someone or return them but not a simple process.

The fit is a major problem. I can't get a good seal to stay more than 5 seconds. Most of the time, I barely have noise cancelling because of the poor fit. I've tried various tips but no luck. After using Beats Fit Pro for years with joy, this is a major downgrade. I really regret having switched.

Good quality, good sound quality and comfortable to wear.

Used about 10 times since purchase and quality is good. It may be my ears, but I cannot find the right size to fit without coming loose, so cannot trust these for running. Will use for rowing, cycling and other CV only.

Frustratingly close to a great product. Bought these due to the sentiment around sound quality and fit. These seem good and I appreciate the inclusion of an (although, rather limited) equaliser. However, it's extremely disappointing to learn that touch function action (specifically, volume adjustment) isn't remappable. I was so surprised by this that at first I thought this must just be buried in a menu option I wasn't seeing. All of my earphones I've used previously in this pricepoint have had this. This may seem like a minor inconvenience until you account for the fact that the volume adjustment is mapped at multiple presses which is completely ridiculous as this must be one of the most commonly used functions! I pair my headphones with a sports watch to listen to Spotify whilst running and don't like to have my phone constantly in my hand day to day so will always use volume control on the earbud. After trying to use these earbuds for only a few hours it's just completely unfeasible so it's likely I'll be returning them. Disappointing considering how this could be fixed through firmware (clearly not limited by hardware as you can map the assistant feature) and given there have been a couple of product iterations now it's clear there's no interest in fixing this from Sony.

Forget Apple pods - these are proper Hi-Fi! Fully customisable, long battery life, Incredible sound, good fit, works with android perfectly. There's nothing not to like and cheaper than Airpods! So happy these are made and available - only downside is that they are made in China and not Japan. Come on Sony, take back your manufacturing!

Great sound. LDAC make it even better then mk3. Better noise cancelling. Smaller size make it more comfortable. Missing some bigger ear tips to sleep on side when pressing it in by pillow. This one hurts slightly. Still best on market.

I bought this as a replacement for my WF-1000XM4, which I had for 3 years and were excellent. Have to say disappointed with the XM5 as the sound quality is just not as good. Overall the sound feels much more closed in that the XM4 model, with a narrower sound stage.

Hi, the issue is not with operation - I use the headphones paired with a Sony Xperia 1 iv phone, using LDAC the Sony highest quality connection solution for music. The review is valid - using the same system the sound is significantly inferior to the WF-1000XM4 model.
