Bought this a few weeks as my old one broke.

First impression sub was massive compared to my old one

Still really trying to work out what setting works best the app is helpful and I like the way it switches depending on how the program is made 5.1 2 channel for music

It’s very bassy and sometimes struggle to hear the other effects but that could be down to user error.

However playing music though Spotify on the app is epic

I bought this on the sony sale, 50 % off when you purchase a sony tv with it.

What a great deal, superb sound, I was going to buy the theatre system with extra rear speakers but didn't really want more wires etc, but I'm more than happy with the sound and true wireless sub woofer. Gives a decent virtual surround affect with good audio sources and upscales normal stereo very well even tells you the format playing i.e. 2.1 or dolby atmos etc on the phone app.

App rubbish. Connected on set up but never again. Item in use ok, but would be better if it had a digital display

Easy to connect to TV and subwoofer. The TV sounds so much better with the soundbar and subwoofer. The TV is quite quiet and with this set it just adds to the atmosphere. Really pleased with it, no sound distortion but I don’t have it anywhere near full volume.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and can now watch films and hear what they are saying.

Only problem is the connection app.I have to switch soundbar off at mains and unplug from mains to reconnect app.

Sound and look I'm happy with but the app to see control of the bar is useless will work when first paired but will not the reconnect

Great soundbar, punchy bass and films which are Dolby Atmos are fantastic.. music sounds brilliant through it too.Could do with a little treble and mid range adjustment otherwise would of been a 5 star review

I bought this a little over two weeks ago, and I'm so happy I did. From the packaging to the sound which the quality is in your face! Enthusiastic, heavy bass, and 3.1.2 channels enhance's action films and gaming. Vocals are consistently clear, and the upward firing drivers provide a surprisingly expansive, immersive experience. It offers powerful bass, excellent 3D immersive sound, and a compact design with clear dialogue. My only issue is no Wi Fi streaming and/or limited inputs. There's only one HDMI eARC port and no HDMI input for other devices. That being said, it's a very strong mid-range contender, great for movie lovers or gamers looking for a dramatic sound experience.

I am satisfied with the quality-price ratio. Impressive bass! The mobile application is difficult to connect, most often on the third attempt, even from a close distance. I would like to have a larger selection of sound modes and adjustment of individual frequency bands (equalizer). I recommend it!

Only have it a few days. The difference the sound makes.

Bought this as an upgrade and overall am very happy.

Was easy to set up and works great.

Only issue is sometimes when turning TV on (4K Bravia) there is no sound. Have to turn TV off then back on. This usually works. This is the only reason for 4 stars. Can definitely recommend though as only a minor inconvenience

Great sound but phone app keeps logging out and you then have to re pair it and it also takes a couple seconds for the volume to rise.

Otherwise it sounds great and the subwoofer is outstanding.

I recently upgraded my TV from Samsung to Sony. The change was so positive that I decided to replace all my electronics with Sony products as well. The TV was a great start, and the addition of the Sony HT-S6 theatre soundbar to that TV has significantly improved the viewing experience. It works in conjunction with the TV as well, it uses the TV speakers as a centre speaker. Overall the sound is magnificent, I was a little apprehensive at first about Dolby Atmos and if it actually worked but to my suprise it works brilliantly. Crystal clear sound, beep tight bass, many options within the app to set the sound just right for how you like it. Was easy to set up as well, took less than 5 minutes, pretty much plug and play. Everything you want to do to it really is just personal preference.

I bout it a few weeks ago and find it very disappointing. The app that you need to install doesn’t work very well infact it’s a waste of time.

Very happy with this purchase, well packaged and very easy to set up using the app recommended. Excellent sound and a great complement to the Bravia a90k.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 | 3.1.2 Soundbar with wireless subwoofer arrived I was intrigued by the packaging - a strange 'L' shaped box, sitting in my living room. It cleverly contained the two differently shaped components – the long thin sound bar and the squat sub-woofer. Inside the box the thin part of the 'L' is the sound bar and the bottom of the 'L' is the bass speaker. All the packaging was recyclable.

When opened the product looks modern and elegant. Even the remote has a sturdy, premium feel.

The fact that the subwoofer is wireless avoids additional cable clutter. The bass is very noticeable and adds tension in action scenes. However, it can initially be tricky to get the right balance between it being effective and overbearing. What is impressive is that there is virtually no latency which is not usually the case with wireless speakers or headphones.

The sound quality is superb, producing a good quality, rich sound, perfect for everything from movies to music. It is like having a movie theatre at home. Switching to the voice setting produces crystal clear speech.

The sound bar is quite wide and, in its current setup, overhangs my TV stand (which is 100cm wide).

Setting up the product was very straightforward, with minimal cables and clear instructions. It paired effortlessly with my TV and the wireless subwoofer.

This is a premium product backed by the innovative technology and brand of Sony. It has transformed our movie nights replacing our very old Sony RHT-G900 Theatre stand system .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smart looking sound bar and subwoofer in matte black finish which is suitable for wall mounting but I stood mine in front of my Sony TV. Really good surround sound and thick bass which is great for action movies. I also used it for radio and the sound is superb. The only drawback with having it stood in front of the TV was that it interfered with the TV remote signal which was occasionally annoying. Other than that it's a great bit of kit!
