As a student I recently bought a new iPad 2025 and it’s honestly been a game-changer for my studies. I mainly use it for taking notes, reading PDFs, and attending online lectures — and it handles all of that really smoothly.
The Apple Pencil support is a huge plus. I use GoodNotes and Notability for handwritten notes, and it feels almost like writing on paper. It’s also way easier to organize all my class materials in one place without carrying around a bunch of notebooks.
Battery life is solid — I can usually go through a full day of classes and still have juice left. And the screen is bright and clear, which makes reading textbooks or watching lectures super comfortable.
I also use it for multitasking: split screen with Safari and Notes for research, or Google Docs and Zoom for group projects. It doesn’t lag at all
