Amazing upgrade from my previous philips electric shaver. Feels premium and really comfortable to hold.

The lack of the integrated pop out trimmer is no problem at all. The supplied trimmer accessory is more than sufficient, however i personally use a philips grooming kit.

Battery life is good, and although maybe not a useful there are a numbers of shaver settings, I normally just use the custom setting set to the maximum speed.

I don't use the led guidance app, for monitoring how well I shave. I think this is not really required and I have turned this off to extend the battery life.

The cleaning station is really useful not only for cleaning, but storage within the bathroom.

Cleaning is simple, a quick wash under the warm tap, then every so often a cycle clean in the station.

Only negative I can think of is the zip on the premium travel case, is not premium. It's quite difficult to open and close and I really think it will fail in time.

I did try the 9000i prestige before this and returned it for the ultra. The ultra is definitely worth the extra money

This shaver allows me to obtain a close shave in a few minutes. It shaves closer than other electric shavers I have had. Keeping it clean is easy by using the cleaning pod

The best electric shaver I have ever had. Shaves as close as a wet shave and very comfortable.

Sadly, since the last firmware update which fixed the non-functioning welcome massage, the battery self drain at approx. 14% overnight. When I last charged it using an intelligent power supply which charges to 100% then shuts off the supply, the shaver has self drained down to 91%.

I have had Philips electric shavers for many yeas, I have found them very reliable and give a very good shave. this is why when I needed a new shaver I bought a Philips shaver again. I have had my shaver now a few months and it provides a great shave each time,

This is the best electric shaver I have every used by far, it is fast, quite and easy to handle, leaving no hairs uncut.

If a wet shave is 100% close, this shaver is 99%. In half the time without any mess.

My cut throat has been religated to the bin.

It is not cheap, but then again neither are razor blades and shaving foam, so it will cover the outlay over time.

Great razor, love the all in one charging and sanitising dock. For the price it's a shame Philips didn't supply a plug for the USB lead.

Having tried multiple electric shavers in the past and always gone back to wet shaving the i9000 Prestige Ultra from Philips is a breath of fresh air. It shaves very close and is by far the best electric shaver I have every had in 45 years of shaving. Well done Philips!

An absolute fantastic shaving experience. In comparison to my previous Braun S9 Pro with Power case, this PHILIPS 9404 wins hands down.

The attention to detail starts with enhanced packaging that offers great protection. First impressions on unboxing were that this was a high quality item with a sleek design and lots of functionality.

The build quality is excellent and the shaver has a comfortable and secure grip.

There are five shaving modes giving a choice of a wet or dry shave which in comparison to most other brands is unheard of.

The head is very manoeuvrable and follows the face contours and the triple lift and cut Skin IQ Pro technology gives an excellent close shave with no nasty nicks or irritation. The blades last up to 2 years before replacement and there is a warranty of up to 7 years which is very reassuring.

The shaver charges quickly and each shave typically reduces the battery level by 8-9% so a weekly charge keeps it topped up and ready for use.

The set includes a cleaning device with a liquid solution and a brush to remove deposits.

The Charging case has an Ultra Violet light for deep cleansing, and the case itself is very stylish and adds complete protection for the shaver.

This shaver also has app-based functionality which is very easy to use and gives outstanding information with regards to feedback and advice on how to improve your technique when using the shaver.

One criticism would be that the shaver doesn't come with a UK USB charging plug.

In Summary, I'd buy this shaver again and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

By far the best shaver I’ve ever tried. Quick smooth and very easy to clean. I’ve always used Philips shavers for the past 40 years and when my last one died my wife bought me this model. It’s so good I would recommend it to anybody

Best shaver I’ve ever had. Handles several days growth as easily as one.

The shaver is the best one yet for shaving, giving a very good shave. The only issue I have found as has many others when connected to the app the battery just drains very quickly, which seems as if there is an issue with the communication between the shaver & the app. When not using the app the battery usage is very good. Its a shame Philips has not sorted the problem out yet!

A very good shaver which gives a close and comfortable shave with interesting information. Unfortunately the battery is serious problem. I have already had to send my first shaver back for an exchange and it looks that I will have to send the current one back as it’s battery only lasts for a few shaves.

Pitkäaikaisena Philipsin partakoneiden käyttäjänä täytyy sanoa, että tämä on paras tähän astisista. Jälki on siistiä hankalistakin paikoista, eli nenän alta ja leuan alta.

USB lataus on hiukan hankalaa, tietokone täytyy olla päällä, jotta se onnistuu...

If I had paid the full price I would have returned this item.

I've been satisfied with Philips shaver for years but since they dropped the 2 ring cutting heads the performance has been poor.

This model says it has 2 cutting rings, which it does, but the second one is ineffective.

I still have 50 days left before I have to keep or return

The cutting heads are no longer close to the edge and the triangular shape has large protrusions beyond the cutters

Even at the discounted price I do not feel this items represents good value

The hair offcuts are smaller than previous shavers so maybe this is nano technology in action

It is fantastic shaver shave as close as normal razer and the charger is great killing all the bacteria on the shaver head I will recommend it

Had an early type shaver yrs ago, then went into using a razor.

But since I acquired this philips i9000 prestige ultra shaver, I've bee more than happy

They've come on a long way in resent years

Lip shaving is difficult as cutter head is small compared to pad area. Overall shave is good but does leave skin somewhat stingy for many hours. Shaver does not like several day old growth, especially as mine can grow along the skin. Much better than my previous Braun shaver, yet not as brilliant as claimed.

This shaver not only looks smart, but gives me a very close shave. I like the led ring that indicates the pressure applied. I found that the battery lasted for more than 3 weeks on a recent holiday which, considering it's bluetooth connectivity, was better than expected. I also like the cleaning station.

Ajotulos on erinomainen. Ohjelman mielestä ajan liian kauan, mutta kolmisen minuuttia on minulke luuan vähän. Akun kesto on myös hyvä. Laite on helppo puhdistaa.
