Comprehensive features, but the "manual" isn't easy to understand. Like all new technology you need time to learn how to use it in the best way for yourself.

Purchased on 12/12/25. Great shave but manual and operation I found extremely complicated.

Koneella on erittäin miellyttävä ajaa, kun kosketus on hyvin pehmeä iholla ja ääni on miellyttävän sivistynyt. Kolme terää hoitaa millintarkan leikkauksen. Minulla oli hetken Braun 9575cc jonka tärinä oli iholla erittäin epämiellyttävän voimakas ja ääni on kova verrattuna nyt ostamaani Prestige Ultra XP9404/46 huippukoneeseen ! Viimeisenä haluan kertoa, että tämä on markkinoiden tyylikkäin design ja eikä ole turhaan saanut palkintoja ulkonäöstä. Vahva suositus tälle huippukoneelle.

Hi I purchased a Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver on Oct 22, 2025. This is the 4th Philips 9000 series shaver i purchased. I purchased two Philips S9982/50 one for myself and one for my brother. I also bought a Philips S9000 Prestige shaver on a private sale. My i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver is by far the very best Philips Shaver I have ever had. It has a slick and beautiful design with different settings for a personal level shave. I'm extremely satisfied with my shaver. Please note on a personal level i have never used the cleaning pod and cartridge as I don't know how.

Excellent close shave a step from my 5year old 9000 series.

This is my 3rd razor within just over a month. Original and two replacements. I shall be returning the 3rd on my return from my vacation.

All the razors lose their charge within 48 hours after a full charge.

I have for many years used a straight razor, this gave me a comfortable and close shave after an intense learning period. I have developed Parkinson’s which means having an open blade held against my throat by à very shaky hand, less than desirable. I tried à Foil shaver but it gave à very patchy result. À friend advised me to try the Phillips machine. Amazon we’re doing on the 9900 ultra so I took the plunge. I am delighted I get a close but comfortable shave.

The Prestige Ultra XP9 405/11 provides a very good shave, fitting wqell to the contours of my face. The app is very useful, althouh it took some time to discover the significance of the various coloured lights on the razor. A simple guide included with the purchase would alleviate this problem.

Ver7y good product always buy philips being using the shaver for about 4 months.

The i9000 is a step forward, it provides a close effective shave with no fuss.

I like most things about the shaver but I would have preferred that the charging lead would have not been exclusive to the shaver. If lost or damaged I can't use any other lead. The pressure sensor is a little to sensitive making it almost impossible to get anywhere near 100%. The rotation sensor is much better.

Overall I am happy with this product.

The razor is very comfortable, innovative, and high-quality. I enjoy using this razor every morning. I highly recommend purchasing it.

Can’t work out how to deep clean, no specific instructions, only photos which don’t help. Printed text instructions would be better, but those are more costly, I suppose

The xhaver I have already praised soon after I bought it.

Since then I have discovered how to get 'refills' for the cleaner. What i can't understand is why the liquid comes in posh pladtic containers. All you do is pour the liquid into the cleaning bowl! Wouldn't a blidter psck been cheaper (if possibly more dangerous!)? Anyway - thanks for a super shaving set which I could not have afforded at the reduced offer price! Please keep me posted on developments!

I must say my expectations were a bit higher for that price. The description was saying that the the shaver cuts below the skin level, but I still feel like the Gillette razor shaves better.

In addition the size of this shaver is quite large, which makes it difficult to shave the area just below the nose.

Otherwise it's ok (only).

Mega shaver ,easy to use ,charge,close shave ,really for the price should of come with a cleaning pod ,but I’d definitely say that’s the only down side 100% better than a Braun

I generally find rotary shavers are better for me. The Panasonic foil shaver I had was a very close shave but left me with too many razor bumps. The Philips shave is close and comfortable (I am using the sensitive setting). The shaver is very quiet compared to a foil shaver. The Philips always seems to cut the awkward hairs on the neck. The digital display is good and much better than other shavers but I find the app is a bit gimmicky and I don't really use it now. The charging stand is ok and I really like the cleaning unit being so easy to use although I don't think it's as good as the Braun cleaning unit. I love the look of the shaver and it feels good in the hand. I never bother with the trimmer attachment. Overall I love this shaver and would buy another one

My best electric shaver. I have owned all the brands, this one shaves the closest, particularly when used with water and shaving soap.

This is a superb shaving system. I havr noe more or less mastered it, and it produces a perfect shave.

The problem I had initially was to identify the constituent pats and how they came together. The silly little 'user guide' consisting of difficult-to-see 'icons' were more confusing that helpful. I assume it was intended to make the process available to as many languages in as little space as possible. I would say it failed on all accounts as a help!

I have a number of questions: how often is a full clean supposed to be necessary? I have done 3 cleanings in the 8 weeks I have been using the shaver. How may cleanings can I do using the liquid supplied before I have to buy more. How can I buy more? Surely I don't have to buy the 'pot' it came in: all I did was to open it and pour the liquid into the container which you upend the shaver into to do the cleaning. I looked on your web site andit was not obvious how you get 'refills' of cleaning liquid - I assume the liquid is a format unique to Philips?!?! I don't want to destroy the shaver mech and heads by putting the wrong liquid in! As I said earlier, more detailed information on how to use the shaver, look after it between cleans and use of the app,
