It is a modern and the best choice. This toaster isn't a simply toaster - it has 4 different option of using. I can choose different level of heating. Highly recommended.

Great toaster with great functionality. After getting used to the toaster (let's agree all toasters are different!) it creates perfect toast. Love everything about it from the bagel setting to the reheat function. Very pleased with my purchase.

First of all, I must say that this product is priced above average for its category, but I think it's worth paying for.

What I like most is the matte black finish, which givs it a special elegance and does not show fingerprints, a big plus compared to my old "stainless steel" toaster.

In terms of use and functionality, it toasts bread very well,unifrom, and the slot is wide enough to fit thick slices of bread, bagels and so on.

It is also the first toaster I have had with a higher lift than any other, which allows you to remove smaller pieces of bread without burning your fingers.

The only downside is the size; it takes up quite a bit of space, but overall, I would say that if you have the room and can afford it, it's a great product.

I love my new toaster. It goes really nicely next to my pistachio stand mixer. The bagel function is good, and the levels of toast work perfectly. The only suggestion I have is I wish it came with a little long brush to remove the leftover crumbs from the sides, the ones that don't fall into the tray.

Excellent toaster and matches all other KitchenAid gadgets in the kitchen - looks gorgeous.

The controls are smooth with that premium feel. The lever allows you to control the browning point of the bread. Overall it is very solid and a good purchase, just in time to replace my old one

The KitchenAid Manual Control Toaster 5KMT2109 is not only a pretty kitchen machine, but it also offers several useful settings, including options for frozen bread and adjustable browning levels. That’s a real advantage for me, since I’m the only one at home who eats bread so I keep it in the freezer. With the slider set to medium, my bread is perfectly toasted. For those who like their toast dark brown, you can put the option on high. Below, there is also a drawer for the crumbs, so you can easily throw away the crumbs without making a mess. Though the toaster appears to heat only in the middle, my toast is perfectly warm and crusty on both sides. In short, the KitchenAid Manual Control Toaster 5KMT2109 is not only a beautiful kitchen appliance, but also does the job very well.

It is a good toaster with some nice features, but I had higher expectations of it. It has a nice and trendy look and it matches very well with some of our other Kitchenaid products in matte black. I have been a fan of this colour for a while now. However I was hoping for the toaster to feel a little heavier and sturdier. The materials make it feel quite fragile. I am overall satisfied with how the toaster works. It toasts my bread perfectly every time and it's nice that you can decide for yourself how well done you want it in 7 options. The frozen bread option works perfectly every time as well. It has a wide opening so that even thicker slices of bread (and even waffles) fit inside, which is a nice plus. It's also easy to clean by pulling out the slide at the bottom where the crumbs fall in. I have no single complaint about how the toaster works, but I do think there are cheaper options that offer the same results.

What I really appreciate are the wide slots — no more squeezing in thicker slices or bagels; everything fits without a fight. The toaster also has a bunch of fun settings, so I can choose exactly how I want my toast. The bagel mode works great, better than I expected. There’s even a little “extra” setting, which I use more often than I thought I would. And the frozen bread function is super handy — I throw in frozen slices, and they come out perfectly toasted every time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old toaster was more then 20 years old so it was time to have a new one. I received this one very fast. I missed some instructions. The toaster has a lot of buttons but I didn't know for what they stand for. The manual included is only safety instructions so I had to look for it on the internet. But anyway, the toaster has not more benefits then my old one. I still have burned bread when I put it in too long and I found it difficult to check how brown my bread is when it is in the toaster. So not so much benefits for the price it cost.

Although an investment for a toaster, I'm very happy with the performance and versatility. One star dropped as I find the appliance a little too lightweight and easily moves when using.

Voi käyttää manuaalisesti valitsemalla paahtoasteen tai käyttää toiminto näppäimien automatiikkaa. Olen käyttänyt paljon sulatus toimintoa ja "lämmitä uudelleen" -toimintoa kuiville leiville. Toimii niinkuin pitäkin. Ei ole kuitenkaan liikoja nappeja ja muotoilu on tyylikäs. Hinta aika kova, vaikka onkin KitchenAid.

Bought this to replace my old kitchenaid toaster which was loosing the will to live, plus I had managed to clean of all the settings. It’s certainly a lot lighter than my old one and more compact, but we are struggling with the settings as you have to have it on the highest level to get the perfect browned toast. I realise that there are various types of bread but the highest setting for boring white bread really. There is a button to increase the heat but who wants to be messing about with that for your morning toast

Todella tyylikäs ja kestävän oloinen leivänpaahdin. Meni kuitenkin palautukseen, sillä paahtimen ominaisuuksiin kuuluu, että se paahtaa leivän vain toiselta puolelta. Enkä tällä tarkoita bagel-toimintoa, vaan ihan kaikilla asetuksilla. Leipäslottien vastukset eivät lämpene lankaan ulommilta puolilta (bagel-asetuksella sisemmät vastukset vain himmenevät hieman). Ensimmäinen ostamani paahdin meni välittömästi takuun kautta vaihtoon koska sekä minä että Verkkokaupan myyjä oletettiin että tämän on pakko olla valmistusvirhe, mutta toisen kappaleen tehdessä samoin soitin suoraan KitchenAidin omaan asiakaspalveluun kysyäkseni asiasta. Tämä on kuulemma kyseisen leivänpaahtimen ominaisuus (josta ovat kuulemma saaneet erittäin paljon negatiivista palautetta), ei virhe.

Jos käyttäjälle on ok, että paahtoleipä on toiselta puolelta paahdettu ja toiselta vain lämmin leipä, niin tämä on varmasti 5/5 tuote, mutta minä palautin ja vaihdan saman hinta/laatuluokan kilpailijan tuotteeseen.

Great product with small footprint. Stylish colour and very easy to use.

Looks good , well built and very stylish. Compared to my previous brand it looks far superior and sturdy. I haven't yet used it as im saving it until my new kitchen is installed but from a looks and build viewpoint it looks good. It gets good a good review on Which consumer website so I have no doubt it will be good to use.

Paahtaa ihanasti leipää käristämättä (päälle saa extra-paahdon, jos tykkää tummemmasta paahdosta), en ollut tajunnut, mikä ero voi olla paahtimien välillä! Tähän mahtuu paksummatkin siivut vaikka itseleivottua tai artesaanileipää tai sämpylänkin puolikkaat. Ja pienemmät siivut saa nostotoiminnolla ulos sormia polttamatta. Sulatustoimintokin toimii erinomaisesti, muita extroja en ole ehtinyt testailemaan.

Mattamusta kuori on paljon anteeksiantava, ei tule välittömästi sormenjälkiä näkyville, kuten jossain rosteripinnassa tms. tulisi. Suosittelen!
