The Best Addition to Our Coffee-Loving Household
Arvosana 5/5[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a housewife with many coffee lovers in the family, this KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder in Cast Iron Black has been one of the best additions to our home. We absolutely love it. It’s very simple to use, and the wheel on the bottom makes it easy to move around, which is a great feature. The adjustable grinding level is one of the highlights for me. I’ve enjoyed making cappuccinos and lattes with it. It’s also easy to clean, wash, and refill with beans and water. Plus, the water tank is generously sized.
SandeepKarkiArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla KitchenAidExcellent coffee machine
Arvosana 5/5[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the kitchenAid semi automatic espresso machine with burr grinder- cast iron black kitchen for a couple of weeks now, and my first impression is truly excellent.
The design is beautiful, and the iron black finish gives the machine a very modern look.
The installation instructions are clear, and in just a few steps, you can make excellent coffee.
This coffee machine grinds coffee beans, and you can adjust the amount and grind size.
You can also set the coffee temperature and whether to make one or two cups.
There are also four different filters for making single and double coffees at different strengths.
You can also froth milk, and a small steel saucepan is included.
The water tank is very large, so you don't have to constantly refill it.
This coffee machine is very quiet.
I like it a lot, I recommend it.
ElibArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla KitchenAidA great coffee maker
Arvosana 5/5[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coffee maker, less noisy than my old one, but I expected it to be even quieter. The coffee tastes excellent, although different from my previous machine. I've already gotten used to the default settings, but initially, I think it dispenses a small amount of coffee, even with a double brew. For all the coffee that fits in the filter, it doesn't use much liquid. Regarding the size, I think it's a bit smaller than the standard size for semi-automatic machines.
bottomcentreArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla KitchenAidA small daily ritual worth every sip!
Arvosana 5/5[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I started using the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with integrated burr grinder, my daily routine has completely changed. It’s not just a coffee machine, it’s a small ritual.
What struck me right away is the sense of total control: from the grind size to the extraction pressure, everything responds precisely and intuitively. The crema I get is dense, smooth, and has that hazelnut shade I had only seen in the best cafés.
I love the way the machine communicates: the lights, the pressure gauge, the sound of the grinder… it makes you feel part of the process. I’ve learned how to adjust the grind, tamp correctly, and recognize the perfect extraction. And it’s surprisingly easy to achieve.
The design is solid, elegant, and immediately gives a sense of reliability. Even in the first days, when you’re still getting used to it, you can pull a great shot without stress.
In short: if you love coffee and want to get closer to a real barista-like experience, this machine truly delivers. Every cup is a small satisfaction.
LordWernerArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla KitchenAidMagnificent coffee machine
Arvosana 5/5t makes a genuinely good at-home espresso approachable yet convincing
When it’s properly dialed in (right grind size, correct tamping pressure, accurate dosing), the machine can produce a genuinely solid espresso nice crema, clean extraction, and a round, well-balanced flavor. Several users even mention that they don’t feel the need to go out for coffee anymore as long as it’s running well.
What I really appreciate is that it doesn’t require you to be a professional barista to get a decent cup. After a bit of practice, you can consistently pull a satisfying espresso, even for everyday use.
Jonathan ehArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla KitchenAidHigh-quality coffee machine
Arvosana 5/5After a week of testing, I can say that it is a very good coffee machine. But let's start from the beginning:
after unpacking the machine from the box, it took a moment to get it up and running. Installation is quite simple – following the instructions in the Quick Start Guide, you can make your first coffee in about 15 minutes. The first thing you notice is that the coffee machine is made of very good materials, there is no feeling of ‘cheap plastic’. The set includes 1x portafilter and 4 filters for it, which are dedicated for one or two espressos. In addition, you get a small jug for frothing milk. To brew your first coffee, you need to grind the beans – the grinder in this coffee machine works perfectly – it is fast and quiet. You can use a slider to select the grind size, from very fine to coarse. Using a nice tamper, press the coffee into the portafilter and place the portafilter in the appropriate place. Then you can select the amount of water to be used to brew the coffee. You can also choose from 3 available brewing temperatures - from cooler to hottest (unfortunately, the degrees Celsius for each mode are not specified). After pressing ‘start’, the coffee is ready in a few seconds. Personally, I poured the same coffee twice to have more of it in my cup - you have to wait a few seconds to restart the pouring process. And as we know, it all depends on the beans, but the coffee from this machine is really good. In addition, we also have the option of frothing milk - just switch the button and after a few seconds you can make warm foam. The manual provides information on what the coffee should look like during and after brewing and what the pressure on the machine should be - these things need to be worked out during use - everything is important here: the degree of grinding, the power of tamping and the amount of water used for brewing. To sum up, in my opinion, this is a top-of-the-range coffee machine, even though it does the same thing as cheaper machines. If you are a fan of the KitchenAid brand and demand good quality at a reasonable price, you will certainly not be disappointed.

RomanArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla KitchenAidA good, high-quality espresso coffee machine
Arvosana 4/5I didn’t expect to like this machine as much as I do. It looks stylish, the buttons feel thoughtfully designed, and the overall look is modern with plenty of metal elements. Even the body has this interesting textured, slightly rough surface — really cool.
And wow, the water tank is huge! The large metal handle genuinely impressed me — it makes carrying all that water super comfortable. The tactile experience matters a lot to me, and here everything feels premium. The portafilter is heavy and solid, no complaints there.
But regarding the sticker that claims the machine operates quietly — it’s not that simple. Maybe the grinder is quiet, but when the machine starts up, everything around begins to rattle, no joke. Still, something that truly surprised me in a good way is the strong and powerful cup warmer on top. The cups get really hot. Compared to this, the same function on De’Longhi now feels laughably weak.
And the smell — oh wow. The aroma of freshly ground coffee that hits your nose with this machine is something else. It’s awakening. It’s almost addictive.
As for the milk foam — no questions here at all. It works perfectly, just like a professional machine. And one more thing I noticed: their portafilter is heavy and feels like cast iron — impressive and satisfying to hold. BUT! Who came up with the idea to put that plastic insert inside the portafilter? It feels out of place. I really think the manufacturer could have borrowed from professional models and used a metal divider instead.
Alright, though — they did make up for this flaw with the generous set of metal filters included in the box. Big thumbs up for that.
Hanna KrukArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla KitchenAidKitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine
Arvosana 4/5The KitchenAid Semi-Automatic with the built-in grinder is a solid, high-quality machine. The integrated grinder is really convenient and produces a very even grind, which definitely helps improve the espresso. It does take a bit of practice to find the right grind size and dose, though.
After you figure out the right settings, the espresso comes out creamy and nicely aromatic.
The steam wand also works well, but you’ll need a little practice here too to get the milk texture right. Overall, it’s perfect for anyone who wants to make a real “coffee shop–style” espresso at home. It’s less suitable if you’re looking for something fully automatic that does everything for you.
Nady72Arvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla KitchenAidMixed Feelings
Arvosana 3/5[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After testing the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder in Cast Iron Black, I have rather mixed feelings. The espresso machine looks solid and elegant. It’s easy to use. However, I consider its price a downside for a machine that makes only espresso. I think that for this amount of money, you can get a machine that makes every coffee in the world.
Secondly, after grinding and brewing the coffee, the grounds in the portafilter remain wet and dripping instead of forming dry pucks. This makes cleaning the filter more difficult. Thirdly, the milk frother reaches up to 85 decibels! If someone in my household wanted a morning coffee while I was still asleep—I think I would go crazy.
Overall, the machine does its job, although I believe it has a few shortcomings.
