The change was quite drastic for me as I had been using an iPhone 8 Plus since 2018 till 2025 so regardless of what modern phone I got it would have been better. However, based on the fact I make YouTube videos and needed mainly a good camera, this is extremely good considering it's still a phone at the end of the day. Since I still use a MacBook, once you download Honor Suite which you need to do on both the phone and on Mac it'll connect for file transfers and also you can setup your phone as a wireless webcam/camera for content creation when using the rear 200mp camera and you want to get that perfect picture and angle. I make music content for social media and I can confirm that the built in speakers are insanely good and even when turned up loud (and it is loud) it doesn't distort and retains it's clarity perfectly whilst having an impressive depth of sound. I gave 4 stars on comfort of use since the phone is a little top heavy but because of the design of the camera it's does sit nicely in your hand
