I was eyeing this TV for months and it doesn't disappoint. The ambilight is incredible, the picture quality is lovely (a perfect set up from my 15 year old TV) and I couldn't be happier

Television is fine but there is lug missing from the battery compartment of the controller so the cover slips off and have been unable to find a phone number to contact you to get it replaced. There is a slit on the battery compartment for the lug to go in but it appears that there was never one put on the cover - there is not a mark where it should be.

Mukana ei ollut kunnollista tv:n jakakosäätimen käyttöohjetta. Mökillä kokeilemalla onnistui. Kuvan laatu hyvä ja tomivuus monipuolista.

THE ONE televisiossa on hyvä kuvan ja äänen laatu . Kaukosäädin on hieman outo ja vähän hankala käyttää.

Kaksi sovellusta haluaisin saada mahdollisimman pian .MTV KATSOMO sekä SPOTIFY nämä kaksi sovellusta puuttuu edelleen THE ONESTA . Nämä sovellukset kun on saatavilla niin TV on sitä mitä tältä TV:ltä odotan.

Äitini vanhasta TV:stä ei toiminut enää uudet kanavat. Ostin hänelle uuden TV:n. Itselläni on Philips TV 11 vuotta vanha mökillä ja siinä on todella hyvä kuva. Niinpä ostin äidilleni myös Philipsin Verkkokaupasta. Siinä on todella mainio kuva ja valintoja on liikaakin. 144 Hz kuva takaa, että äitini kehui kuvaa myös nopeasti liikkuvissa kuvissa.

Ambilight, big win. Creates a colourful setting for everyone to enjoy, multiple settings and of course can just be switched off. Operationally, Titan OS is garbage, stock apps not really required and app store limited. ITV app doesn’t allow live tv option either. Firestick, Apple TV etc worth adding. Gaming hasn’t really made a big jump using the HDMi 2.1 port (enhanced for gaming). USB playback initially froze the set, found a way to hard power off. Upon research any USB has to be Fat format, very limiting for a 2024 TV in the modern age. Picture is lovely, vibrant and punchy (many modes and personal) any 4K/UHD content can look amazing. Sound is adequate, nice levels. TV remote feels nice, additional streaming buttons for those who like that. Jury still out for overall satisfaction.

Titan OS lacks almost all my essential apps. The screen mirroring does not work with many streaming apps. My Chromecast 4th Gen goes black when I use it with this TV.

I bought this tv as an upgrade for my bedroom. I am extremely happy with my purchase. It arrived in excellent quality packaging. As soon as unboxed it straight away you notice how sleek and stylish the design is. It was very easy to put up on the wall and did not take long at all. Very easy to navigate the set up and make the settings personalised to myself. The sound and picture quality is amazing and I love the built in lights which really create an ambiance/atmosphere when watching tv. Would definitely recommend and I think the price was very reasonable and worth it.

Olen tosi tyytyväinen, en ole vielä uskaltanut korjailla värejä jotka on minulle liian kirkkaat. Sain ladattua suomenkieliset käyttöohjeet, ne on hyvät kieli- ja digitaidottomalle.

We fine this a good tv, we do like the ambient back light, it does bring out the picture to life. Fairly straightforward to set up, only draw back can’t get itv x, and other catch up services.

Edellisessä the one tv:ssä oli android käyttöjärjestelmä joka oli loistava ja sai kaikki sovellukset. En ymmärrä miksi tähän uuteen on pitänyt laittaa titan käyttöjärjestelmä, johon ei saa käytännössä mitään sovelluksia.

Kysyttäessä tv arvosteluita ei voi kun sanoa että meille täysi kymppi. Uusi käyttis ja kake toimivat todella hyvin ja nopeasti. Kuvanlaatu tosi hyvä paras mitä on ollut meidän philipseissä joita on ollut jo kuvaputki ajalta ja litteitäkin jo 6-7 kpl. Aika näyttää kestävyyspuolen. Todella tyytyväinen ostokseeni pitkän kuolauksen jälkeen en kyllä muita huolisi. Loistava valinta

To be honest, I am a bit disappointed. Setting the TV up was not as straightforward or as intuitive as I’ve had with previous LG TV’s. I got there in the end but a bit of a pain connecting other devices to it. Yes, the picture is very good and the Ambilight feature fun but this Titan OS is not a patch on others I have used.

The very worst thing is, there is no Apple App installed and there isn’t an easy way to add the app. I very nearly sent it back!

As I pay an Apple subscription I was annoyed I couldn’t use it.To get over this, I had to buy a Roku stick which does the job but at an extra cost. I’ll have to see how the next few months go as to whether I return it to you.

It’s stylish, intuitive, and offers incredible value — definitely worth every penny. It truly lives up to its name, "The One."

It is a truly decent TV for the money you pay. I love Titan OS smart TV platform and preinstalled apps like Disney+, Netflix and YouTube. The connection is not an issue at all as there is built in Wi-fi, so no cable fuss here. Sound and picture is great and voice assistant is fun. Watching and gaming experience with this TV is great and it is even better with Ambilight compared to other brand TV in a house. Though I am not really convinced with a stand option for this TV, and energy efficiency could do better, but hey, I am happy with a whole package after all. The TV features are amazing and watching is a true pleasure.

Great TV with a great range of features. The backlight is really lovely and have never had a tv with this feature. The remote is a bit confusing to use initially but when you have used it a few times you soon get a grip of it. The sound and picture quality is brilliant considering this is a more mid range model. Overall I love this tv.

I purchased this TV to replace my now old 4K TV. I spent a while researching and looking for a new TV and decided I wanted to at least try the Philips Ambilight series as I had heard good things. I can safely say this is a massive upgrade from my previous TV. The colours and bright, vivid, accurate and the panel displays an incredibly sharp image, even at lower resolution content. It has features such as HDR and Dolby Vision that, when paired with supported content, look amazing. The DLED panel is much better in dealing with localized dimming zones than the edge lit counterpart in my opinion.

I had heard some mixed reviews specifically regarding the Titan OS that runs on Philips TVs, I previously used a Chromecast Ultra so wasn't bothered if some of the negatives were true as I could use this instead. However, I have found no issues with Titan OS on the TV and have moved over to using this instead of the Chromecast for ease of use and clearing up a HDMI port. I will note however that when I had the Chromecast plugged into the TV, it did allow for controller passthrough and therefore only required the TV remote to control the TV and the Chromecast.

Having no experience with the Ambilight line-up of TVs I thought that the in-built backlight might be a bit gimmicky. Although, through testing through different content I find myself enjoying the addition of the backlight more than I thought I would. It definitely adds a further dimension of immersion to the content you are watching.

Overall setup out of the box was easy, the stand was simple to assemble and the instructions very clear. Any configuration options you could look for are simply set out in the settings menu for further tweaking.

I’ve been using the Philips Ambilight TV 50PUS8909 for a bit now, and overall, I’m pretty happy with it. The Ambilight effect is awesome—it really adds to the viewing experience and makes movie nights feel way more immersive. Definitely one of the coolest features about this TV.

That said, I was a little disappointed to find out that you can’t sync it with other Philips Hue products to extend the lighting effect throughout the room. I thought that would be a no-brainer, but nope. A bit of a letdown, honestly.

As for the picture quality, it’s very decent—sharp and vibrant, no complaints there. The sound, on the other hand, is just average, like most TVs. But since I’m using a home cinema setup, it doesn’t really matter to me.

If you’re into Ambilight and want solid visuals, this is a good pick. Just don’t expect too much from the sound or Hue integration.

Kuvanlaatu on hyvä ja amblight valaistus on hieno, mutta Titan Os käyttöjärjestelmä pilaa käyttökokemuksen. Ajoin vaihtaa tuotteen google tv käyttöjärjestelmällä varustettuun laitteeseen.

This T V has everything you could wish for without having to pay any subscriptions!, the lighting system enhances your viewing pleasure so much.

Ostin 55PUS8909 ja olen ollut tyytyväinen. Käytän lähinnä tavallisten kanavien katseluun, ja kuva näkyy hyvin. Kaukosäädin on selkeä, ja TV on helppo käyttää minunkin iässä.

Tosi hyvä kuvanlaatu ja Ambilight tekee katsomisesta vielä hauskempaa. Helppokäyttöinen ja sopii hienosti olohuoneseen. Suosittelen lämpimästi!

Good picture, but Google TV is way better than the built in Tiitan OS . Had to get the Apple TV to use all my local apps here in Norway.
