Low for delicate fabrics and high for thicker clothes. Removes wrinkles and kills bacteria. Safe for everything from silk to cotton.

The adjustable pole, built-in hanger, and large water tank make it convenient.

I received Philips Garment Steamer 1000 Series, and I am really impressed with it. This steamer is perfect for quickly getting rid of wrinkles on all kinds of fabrics and it can be used daily for your clothes, curtains and those fabrics which are hard to press with normal iron. One of the best features is the large 1.8 L detachable water tank. It’s easy to refill, which means you can steam for a long time without interruptions. The steamer heats up quickly and provides a continuous steam of 36 g/min, so you don’t need to go over the same spot too many times. There are three steam settings, which makes it easy to choose the right amount of steam for different types of fabric. For lighter fabrics, you can use the low steam setting, and for thicker materials, you can switch to a more powerful setting. This is great because it also means you can steam items with prints or motifs without worrying about smudging them. Using the steamer is straightforward, and I found the online instructions super helpful. Plus, you can hang your clothes on the integrated style-board or use a coat hanger which came with the steamer. It makes it easy to get to the back of the garments too. The steamer comes with a safety glove, which is a nice touch to protect your hands from heat. The safety instructions are clear, so you know exactly how to use it safely. Overall, I really like the Philips Garment Steamer 1000 Series. It has made my life much easier, especially when it comes to cutting down my ironing time. I like that you can adjust the height for storage or for the kind of garment you want to steam. It heats up really quickly and gives a great amount of steam. There is a brush like attachment for the head but I prefer without and it’s probably for thicker items or for something that needs a bit of a scrub. The garment steamer as a whole feels really sturdy and holds a really good amount of water. The addition of the heat protective mitten is a great idea but in reality it’s a bit cumbersome and would be better if it was as a glove where all the fingers could be used, especially for pleated items where I feel I need to pinch together to steam.

Being able to hang the garment on the actual frame is great and if already on a hanger and just needs a quick going over you can leave on the hanger for quickness.

Doing pleats is so much easier than with and iron as the garment is already hanging In the correct position so you just need to hold the bottom and go over the pleat quickly.

It came extremely well packaged and had the option of scanning a QR code to get online instructions which I found much easier to follow than the paper instructions. It was fairly straightforward to put together and is very easy to use. It is very well made and all the parts seem strong.

It heats up quickly and there are different settings depending on what you are steaming. It is quick and easy to steam an item and any material can be steamed including the motifs that tend to smudge when ironed! Garments can be hung over the hanger on the machine or you can put a coat hanger onto it which can then be turned easily to steam the back. I found this much quicker. The instructions are helpful as they show the correct way to steam different items.

The safety glove is a good size too and gives added protection against burning. There are clear safety instructions included in the box too which are important to read before starting.

I am very impressed with this steamer and it will definitely make my life easier and cut down on ironing time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm quite honestly speechless with this steamer. I've always wanted one as I hate ironing, but I'd heard they weren't that great. So when I switched it on, I didn't expect much. However, wow, I was actually in disbelief at just how quick and easy it was to use. For context, I tried this on a pair of linen trousers that can not be ironed. They crease horribly and its annoying having to tumble dry and hang them for a coupl of days before I can wear them. This steamer has changed the game. It was super simple to put together, and there is so much attention to detail. The product is really well thought out. It takes 2 minutes to heat up, and although the hose gets hot, a glove is provided for safety to protect your hand. All you then have to do is glide the hose over your clothes and watch the absolute magic happen. I'm still in disbelief at just how fast it removed the creases. Less than a minute! If you are toying with the idea of getting one. Honestly, purchase this one and make life easier! Its super affordable and worth every penny. No more tedious ironing for hours on end.

Was a bit harder to work on more heavy duty stubborn creases. Easy to maintain just by filling up the water in the bottom tray and cleaning it out when needed.

It did make my room quite condensed with steam after a long usage. It be better with a designated place for a hanger to go that didn’t mean having to remove the steamer first to fit it in.

It does take a minute or two to start steaming but when it does it removes the wrinkles off the clothes. It’s slim compared to my other two steamers and I like how it comes with a board to easily steam shirts and trousers. Only thing missing is is clips to hold the trousers in place. It comes with adjustable steam options. I would have given it 5 stars if it has stronger steam: as it’s not an alternate to ironing .
