I absolutely love this laptop. It's unbelievably light, yet there has been no significant compromise on its performance. It's admittedly expensive, but Lenovo has built a laptop that is quick, responsive, and has a good mix of ports. The optional GaN charger is also noticeably slimmer than power adapters I've used in the past, and the high end Lenovo dock works very well to make it a desktop replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had my new ThinkPad for a couple of weeks, but I've already used it for everything from writing work documents to creating and printing high school booster club materials to enjoying my son's baseball videos. I love the look and feel of this laptop, and it is so lightweight! It was so easy to transition from my old laptop and get everything set up. I was a little worried that I should have gone with a larger screen, but the size and clarity are perfect for what I need, and I have a second monitor for specific tasks. I am still learning all of the new/new-to-me features, but the phone link app might be my favorite so far. So helpful to be able to access text messages, e.g., confirmation codes, nice to scroll through photos, etc. directly from my ThinkPad.

an excellent laptop which is ruined by the choice of replacing right control key with a fingerprint bump. remapping the useless copilot key is not a good substitute: it ruins my finger placement on other keyboards.

Ensiksi: Erinomainen näppäimistö jossa täysikokoinet nuolet ja page up/down. Erinomainen ja kirkas näyttö. Laite painaa kilon eikä nitise tai natise.

Huonoa: laite ei varsinaisesti tunnu edellistä 4 vuotta vanhaa P14s:ää nopeammalla mikä oli hiukan pettymys. Prosessorit eivät enää nopeudu samalla tavalla kuin aiemmin.

Ostin outletista joten en maksanut listahintaa. Verkkokauppa lupasi 34 kk Premier-huoltosopimuksen mutta ostohetkellä sitä oli enää 30 kk jäljellä. Lenovo kautta sain kuitenkin täydet 36 kk mikä oli mukava yllätys.

Delightfully easy to set up, very fast, and light. Haven’t tested battery to its limits, but it seems good enough for 7-8 hours with reasonable workload.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, the laptop is elegant and sexy! And it's so light that I thought it was just an empty shell. Once the initial impressions were over, I got into the nitty gritty of the computer. Man, this thing is smoking! The keyboard is comfortable to type on as it remains the trademark of ThinkPad. The screen resolution is eye-popping, something I have always wished to have but couldn't get until now. Having 32GB of RAM really accelerates my CAD software, especially during 3D rendering. This has significantly improved my workflow. I was surprised to find out that the screen is not a touchscreen. It's a bummer, given the price of the computer, but I don't use the touch function often, so I can live without it. Everything about the laptop exudes confidence and speed. One option I wish it had is a slot for a micro-SD card. I normally use the SD card for backup of critical files, but now have to take up a USB port for a card reader. Other than that, it's a solid performing system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have difficulty carrying heavy laptops, I needed something solid, reliable and easy to carry. All my X1 Carbons have been just perfect laptops, this one was no exception. I think it's the lightest of the lot but runs everything I need and the build quality feels solid for something so light. It's not the cheapest , but I think it's more than worth it. You get what you pay for and in this case, you get a great laptop for the price.

Got this to replace my X1 Extreme Gen3 and I am very happy with it. Geekbench scores for the X1Carbon Gen13 are 2653 Single Core and 7769 Multi, while the Extreme scored 1318 Single and 4641 Multi. I also have a Surface Laptop 7 with a Snapdragon X-Elite in it that scored 2309 Single and 13009 Multi. I'm a little disappointed that I was limited to just 32GB of RAM, but that's Intel's chip architecture and not Lenovo's fault.

The build quality is awesome, with the laptop being super thin and light. It's the lightest laptop I've ever owned. The display is excellent, and the keyboard is the great quality you expect from Lenovo. The sound isn't the greatest, but it gets plenty loud and has enough bass to make it passable. I wouldn't want to listen to music on it, but it's fine for watching a quick YT video or a podcast. The webcam is disappointing on it. It looks a bit dark and grainy.

Battery life is great. It can make it a full 8 hours on a charge with regular business use. It isn't as good as my Snapdragon that will easily run for 12+ hours on a charge, but I can take it without the charger and not worry too much.

Overall, I am very happy with this laptop and would recommend it.

The reason I purchased such an expensive laptop was because I want it "future-proofed." In all my uses so far, it's been a great computer. No complaints yet about loud fan noise.

You are probably looking for what my issues are (that what I wanted to know before I bought it). So, my "issues" are really just 2 things. Often, it acts like I've got the mouse "on". It will drag something somewhere, or start highlighting things. Maybe I just put off a lot of heat, but I'm not touching the pad? There may be a setting for this, but I haven't looked and it can get annoying. The second thing is that it will occasionally tell me that I have no internet when I'm at home and I have to reboot it to connect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this computer in various locations. It's lightweight makes this very easy. The battery lasts long enough for me to complete many tasks. All of my software works smoothly because of the 32 GB of memory. The large hard drive allows me to keep all my files locally. The WiFi network card allows large amounts of data to be synchronized very quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jumping from a P1 gen 1 this was a great change. Everything good about Thinkpads are still there but now at half the weight. So far no issues after over a month and 2 trips. This is exactly what I'm looking for in a travel laptop.
