This card is big and heavy, covers almost 4 slots in your pc and it definitely needs gpu support to stop sag. Its a very good looking card with a premium build that oozes quality and drip.

Once plugged into your machine, its going to need a juicy psu (850w recommended) and good quality 16pin supply, hopefully supplied with your psu. Make sure the 16pin is firmly pushed in and sits snugly all round!

Once powerd up the card is pretty silent under normal load, sits pretty cool and gets on with business without breaking a sweat. Turn on the juice and it handles everything you throw at it in glorious 4k, without getting massively hot!

But here's the caveat: the fan's, oh boy can they make some noise when the card is under load, keeping the cards temps down has a price. All the vapour chambers and swagger tech still boils down to the fans and how noisey they can be. Dont get me wrong, im talking about heavy load pure rasterising power games and applications so in most circumstances the fans are pretty silent.

Load up gpu tweek iii and you can customise fan curves, OC settings, UC settings to get what you want from the card and get a running on screen display on your phone to monitor all the stats, which is pretty nice!

Overall the card is a beast that looks great and is built great. Ive only knocked it down a star due to the noisey fans under load, oh, and the price!!

After seeing this I knew I had to have it, the design is absolutely beautiful. Now when it comes to performance and cooling it does not disappoint.

An absolute beast of a GPU. Extremely well built, sturdy but stylish. The RGB is lovely and subtle. The FPS produced, DLSS and Ray Tracing is mind blowing. Excellent performance benchmarks. Very expensive but worth every penny. A1 purchase.

Electricity consumption is very low. High performance. Cooling performance so amazing. But little bit expensive

Näytönohjainten hintatason ollessa nykyisin korkealla, ASUS Astral tarjoaa mielestäni erittäin hyvää vastinetta rahalle premium-luokassa.

Kortti on rakenteeltaan erittäin järeä ja painava. Vaakatasoon asennetussa emolevyssä huomasin, että lisätuki on käytännössä tarpeen, jotta kortti pysyy täysin suorassa pitkällä aikavälillä. Suunnittelin ja valmistin omaan kokoonpanooni tuen myös kortin toiseen päähän varmistaakseni optimaalisen asennon. Rakenteen massiivisuus kertoo kuitenkin samalla laadusta ja jäähdytysratkaisun kapasiteetista.

Suorituskyky on vakuuttava: kortti tarjoaa vahvan ja tasaisen tehon ilman häiritsevää melutasoa, ja lämpötilat pysyvät erinomaisesti hallinnassa. Ajoin heti alkuun usean päivän mittaisen Topaz AI -renderöinnin, ja kortti toimi vakaasti koko ajan. Hotspot-lämpötila pysyi maksimissaan noin 61 °C:ssa, mikä kertoo jäähdytyksen tehokkuudesta.

Erityisesti arvostan virransyötön seurantaan liittyviä ominaisuuksia, jotka tuovat lisää mielenrauhaa raskaassa käytössä.

RGB-valaistus ei ole omaan makuuni välttämätön ominaisuus, mutta se kuuluu monelle tärkeään esteettiseen kokonaisuuteen ja on muokattavissa ohjelmiston kautta.

Kortti sijoittuu hintaluokassaan premium-segmenttiin, mutta esimerkiksi noin sadan euron ero TUF-malliin on mielestäni perusteltavissa rakenteen, ominaisuuksien ja kokonaislaadun perusteella. Näin jälkikäteen koen tehneeni oikean valinnan

Overall the performance is top notch, the price is a joke and the fact that no GPU support bracket is included is an insult.

Build quality is top notch, but it is huge & heavy.

It is awkward to mount in any position whether horizontal/ vertically. Slotting it direct to a Z890 ROG Hero was not as easy as I'd have hoped for, getting the case slot things behind the MoBo and between the case was challenging as there is little room and I didn't want to damage anything. mounting vertical with a riser cable! Depending on your setup, good luck. I have a HAF 700 EVO which is a HUGE case, but mounting on their V3 "universal" bracket was unsuccessful, this was for several reasons. My Arctic III 420mm liquid AIO pipes come out the bottom of the CPU block, the GPU in tall so it makes contact with them...Too long a riser cable will bend and push the card outward and too short limits clearance and visibility when mounting it to any form of bracket.

It is mounted into the board traditionally with the ASUS Herculx mount, which was additional cost on top of the extortionate GPU price.

Tässä kortissa riittää potkua 4K pelaamiseen. Gpu on erittäin hiljainen ja käy viileänä. Itse käytän quiet modea. Performance tilakaan mikään meluisa ole, mutta arvostan koneen hiljaisuutta. Suorituskyky ollut vähintäänkin riittävä omaan käyttöön. Raskain käyttö lienee VR simuautoilu pelit. Kookas/raskas kortti ja vaatii lisätuen vaaka asennuksessa (pakkauksen mukana tulee lyhyt tuki). Fyysiset mitat kannattaa huomioida, koska ihan joka koteloon ei mahdu.

Mukana myös adapteri millä voit kytkeä vanhempaankin PSU, mutta vaatii 3 syöttöä. Alkuun käytin 850w gold poweria ja sekin riitti hyvin, mutta päivitin kuitenkin myöhemmin 1000w platium niin sain johdot siistimmin 😎.

Olen ollut tyytyväinen vaikka ostaessa ”vähä” kirpaisi, mutta toisaalta eipä näitä joka vuosi tule itse ainakaan vaihdettua. Tällä olisi taas tarkoitus pärjätä useampi vuosi eteenpäin.

Great GPU, had a couple of issues though, firstly I have a XL case, and although great and fits, they send a gpu sag bracket that doesn’t fit, or fits but you’re gpu will start going up slightly. Other issues which I guess really isn’t an issue, but if the PC is off, the red light next to the gpu pcie slot is normal, which personally I’ve never seen that on a GPU unless it means there is an issue with the power, but no, ASUS do that to indicate it’s receiving power from what I’ve been told. The GPU is great, heaviest I’ve ever attempted to hold, and just great in all other aspects. The accessories that came with the GPU in the BOX such as a ruler, magnetic coin, and gpu shift key, were quite disappointing especially for the price of this thing. But as a whole, the GPU runs as smooth as butter.

Great gpu upgraded from a 3080ti to the 5080 the uplift in fps the fact that it runs cooler even when game is set to ultra settings it never really gets past 75degrees

Hyvä kortti... Hinta karannut käsistä niin kuin monessa muussakin asiassa maailmalla... Kohta siirryttävä konsolipelaajaksi jos hinnat jatkaa nousuaan komponenteissa... Siirryin 3080 tähän kyseiseen korttiin ja kyllä tämä hymyilemään saa...ropelit vinkuu tietyllä nopeudella aika kovaa ja korkealta...Muuten loistava kortti.

Kallis ja on kyllä hyvä näytönohjain...tällä mennään kohti tulevaisuutta

Toimiva kortti omaan käyttöön, hiljainen, pysyy viielänä (alle 75c) pelatessa ja riittävästi potkua 2k pelaamiseen.

Tämähän on paras 5080 mitä rahalla saa, ei voi moittia muutenkuin hinnan puolesta. Hiljainen ja todella tehokas.

Great card 10 percent performance to be added on with simple oc through GPU tweak lll scores closer to a 4090 also don't understand why Asus didn't release with higher clocks cool as ice think GPU tweak can be improved great card U get what U pay for
