As the title says - plug in to any of our 4 laptops at home (2 that are Lenovo) and the monitor will turn on briefly, then go straight to standby mode and off. They have no trouble with another portable monitor that we have - plug and play. But this M14d - hasn't worked. Bought a new cable at the request of another person suggesting it may work and that didn't change. No computer, even during reboot, recognizes the monitor to be able to install the drivers. Probably going to need to return it. This is a terrible product when you're expecting lightweight plug and play, and it doesn't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great and has a good screen. I don't use it as much as I thought. It maybe that it takes a minute or 2 to set up. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the portable monitor (M14d) for use in motel rooms during travel. I was a little skeptical about powering the monitor at first because all I had was the Lenovo laptop power brick. So, after reading the [downloaded] user guide (which wasn't really helpful), I decided to just connect the power brick to the M14d then connect the USB C cable provided from the M14d to the laptop USB C power port. It worked (!) and following connection ran the driver installation and checked for Win11 updates to complete the installation. The M14d has a really crisp and clear display so I enjoyed using it. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have already used this monitor extensively in hotel rooms. It is perfect for having more productivity when you are on the road, and doesn't have the bulk of a regular monitor. I particularly like that it can power itself off of my laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need to share screen visibility while utilizing your laptop/tablet, then this portable monitor is the perfect option. However, if you need a temporary monitor with an actual desktop and no other monitor, this will not work for you. It's an add-on to be a duplicate of your screen only - as far as I've been able to utilize it. Nothing wrong with it other than not fitting my purposes.

My partner also works from home on Fridays and we only had one set of monitors. This travel monitor was the perfect solution! Now I can go to coffee shops to work or simply use it at my kitchen table while he works at the desk! Very happy with the purchase. It does drain your laptop battery so you’ll need to be near an outlet ideally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to use especially with the USB-C cable provided. The screen is clear and the monitor lightweight making it easy to travel with. It also comes with a nice sleeve that protects the screen. I am really pleased with this purchase.

With my laptop it is plug and play but I didn't have the right port in my PC so had to get a different cord, but it works great. Screen is vivid and perfect for what I need. Love it!

The challenge is every one ships with different firmware versions and no ability to update it. The color balance is inconsistent across M14d's and none of the built-in color profiles match any of my X1 Thinkpads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the monitor is EPEAT qualified so I’m poisoned less. I like that it’s Energy Star. I wish the screen was a hair larger, but it has great picture quality.

It is so quick and convenient to add an extra monitor wherever I go. Instead of switching through a thousand tabs on one screen -- I now only have to switch through 500 tabs on each screen ;) Highly recommend. Image is crisp too.
