Bought to replace my lovely blackberry phones. Needed something good worth every penny

I am very pleased especially with the camera side of things, which is why I always prefer a Sony phone. But I am still learning to use it, and one things that I noticed is that it does make a noise when using it like if there is something loose inside of it. I got the red XPERIA 1 VI 512GB - but apart from that, which seems odd to me, and I am not sure if this is normal or not but it was like it since I got it out of the box. I still missed my old Xperia XZ, which I still intend use it as a mini tablet and I am hoping I can use it also abroad with local sims etc. Overall it is still early days but definitely I am in love with the camera on my new XPERIA 1 VI 512GB - I still have to learn all the functionalities and how to use it, but so far so good with the camera especially.

What can I say about the fantastic Xperia 1 VI, well for starters - the battery is superb and lasts, as advertised for 2 days (even with heavy usages).

I don't play games on my phones but did boot up Fortnite, just to have a look and it was amazing, strong constant frames and a joy to indulge in, if I used it for games.

The photo's are so good, I was blown away by the cracking job, Sony do with their flagship phones.

All in all, this is by far - to date, the best Xperia phone on the market and going from an Xperia 1 VII to this, was a game changer. I can not fault the phone and I am very pleased with the phone.

Software is also top notch, being on the (to date) latest Android 15 which does pack a good amount of features, into this handset.

You will not be disappointed, by this handset, oh and the colour - RED is to a real treat too.

Great looking phone (I bought the scarlet version and it looks fantastic), long battery life, charges fast when needed, snappy OS and great for mobile gaming thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

As long as Sony keeps bringing out phones with a micro sd card slot I'll continue to buy.

Just bought this week. Very happy with the purchase. Love the red casing if a tad disappointed that a screen protector is not icluded at that price.

Well, having had nearly all the Xperia 1 models, with just the Xperia 1 III, having not been in my hands. I can say that this is more of the same and yet something quite different.

The first difference and I can't say yet for good or bad, is the change of the screen ratio and the "degrading" of the screen from 4K to FHD+. Now when I say I can't say yet. I use Sony Core on the Xperia 1 V and man using that screen with the titles on that service and is something truly amazing. I cannot now make a comparison as the Xperia 1 VI is not compatible with that service, so the comparison in terms of the quality of image between the two devices is extremely hard to compare fairly.

I can say it is just a wee bit easier in the end than the longer taller previous model. The battery life is exceptional with the Xperia 1 VI, and I do like the feel in hand. That textured rear of the phone is even better than the Xperia 1 V and I thought that was good.

I am actually happier than I thought I would be, I wondered if that screen change and resolution drop would frustrate me, but it has not. I think if Sony had removed the headphone jack or micro-SD card. I would have in one hot minute defected to the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Great battery life, phone ultralight, superb fit in hand.
