Asus RT-BE88U Dual-band -WiFi7-reititin

I bought this as my existing asus tuf ax3000 v2 router broke after a forced firmwere update by asus now this new router is working flawlessly so far and the signal on WiFi is rock sold with no disconnects with very high speed tests

I was thinking of getting a mesh router setup and then came across the asus rt-be88u which i decided to go for as if i needed to extend i could do so with ai mesh but after setting it up the range and speeds of this router i brilliant i have a wifi cctv at least 70 feet away and this connects no problem and states great connection, also having 4 2.5gb ports and 4 1gb ports is a bonus and i can link the important things gaming pcs :) to the 2.5 ports and the cctv , sky box ect to the 1gb its a win win. I read a few reviews saying the range wasnt the best but i can honestly say there wrong, i replaced my youfibre router for this and i am 100% happy

I recently upgraded to 2gig fibre internet and after many years of service, I had to retire my ASUS RT-AC68U router. I am very happy to say that this router is a fantastic upgrade. It truly is an everything in one device, Wifi7, multiple guest networks, dedicated Internet of Things network, ad blocking, family safety.

My only criticism, there is no 6GHz Wifi channel but other than that, upgrade with confidence.

Tämä hankittu, kun aiempi kaksikerroksisen rivitalon mesh-verkko alkoi takkuilemaan. Media, peli, iot ja työkäyttöä paljon. Toiminut hyvin.

Ainoa erikoisuus oli, että Samsungin äly-tv:n applikaatioiden kirjautumiset katkeavat, "Group Key Rotation Interval" asetuksella voi säätää aikaa kuinka usein pätkäisee. Ongelma tietysti ratkeaa myös kytkemällä tv langalla internetiin.

Reitittimet lokit saa helposti hallintakäyttöliittymästä näkyville, tämä helpottaa ongelmien selvittelyssä.

Laite näyttää Darth Vaderin kypärältä ja on iso kokoinen, tarvitsee kuitenkin olla hyvässä paikassa, jotta langaton yhteys paras mahdollinen. Kannattaa pohtia paikka ennenkuin ostaa..

Päivitin Asus RT-AX88U tähän huippu nopeaan RT-BE88U REITITTIMEEN. Suosittelen laitetta muillekkin. Helppo ja nopea asennus.

I purchased this wifi router to improve network management in my home. It replaces a Sky Hub modem / router which performed very poorly causing constant issues with my network grinding to a halt. I did not need especially fast access to the internet as my house only has a 30mbps connection. However, I have several IP security cameras and multiple Sky Q boxes as well as a number of IoT devices. In all around 60-80 devices. The RT-BE88U has a very good user interface and with the significant number of ethernet ports is very practical to use. In terms of managing the network I am not using half the features, but it has nevertheless resolved all of my congestion issues. I have used the RT-BE88U to form the basis of a wifi mesh within my property adding 3 RT-AX52s so that every corner of the house has a wifi router (replacing previous wifi Access Points). The RT-AX52s have an ethernet connection back to the RT-BE88U so the main router can decide whether wifi or wired back haul is going to work best. At some point I hope my broadband will be upgraded to fibre when the real speeds achievable from the router may be put in to practice (the RT-AX52s are only wifi 6 but given my set up and the ISP limitations that works fine and they were very good value for money).

Luultavasti kotikäytössä on vähän liian järeä väline suurimmalle osalle ihmisistä ja turhan kallis, mutta jos haluaa kunnon voimapesän niin tässä sellainen on.

"Vanha" Asus AX59 U korvattu BE88 U:lla . Perustoiminnot jo ennestään tuttuja, joten asennus, ehkä tämänkin vuoksi helppoa vaikka uudessa enemmän toimintoja, turvallisuutta ja "yksityisyyttä".

Mm. aurinkopaneelit ja iv-kone nyt erillään pääverkossa. LoT-verkossa taas "vähemmän tärkeät" vehkeet (yht. 8kpl), hyödyntäen samalla Asuksen omaa turvallisuutta . Vanha reititin edelleen käytössä, toimii hyvin ja päivityksetkin ajantasalla.
