3440x1440 is still great on 45". I love this monitor cuz its not smart Monitor just basic PC purpose.

Doesn't let me use 240hz.

It's capped at 144hz even though I am using a display port cable and have even taken LG advice and still not eorking. But picture quality is good

Shame that the Driver for this Monitor hasn't been Promalgated because its only on the from LG Korean website.

If I could buy again I would probably get something else. For the price I'm not exactly blown away.

The options are terrible with little to no explanation of why certain options are greyed out. Especially energy saving mode which i still can't work out how to turn it off as looking at reviews etc the picture becomes much brighter.

So half happy at the moment.

Hankin 45" jättinäytön korvaamaan Samsungin 27" OLED näyttöä. Yllätyin itsekin, kun ensivaikutelma LG:n kuvanlaadusta oli negatiivinen. Kuvapinnasta noin 30-40% näytön vasenta reunaa on iso alue, jossa valkoinen on vihertävänharmaata ja esim nettiselainta siirtämällä tai valkoisen auton ajaessa ruudun poikki värivaihtuma on silmäänpistävää. Pikselitiheys on jo sen verran matala tällä resoluutiolla, että kuvassa erottuu selkeitä pystyjuovia, jossa varsinkin tasaisen harmaat pinnat erottuvat eri kirkkauksisina. Peleissä ilmiö oli hyvin häiritsevä, kun tasaväriseksi tarkoitettu mötikkä on raidallinen erilaisia harmaita.

Kaarevuus jakaa varmasti mielipiteitä. Jos kuvanlaatu olisi timanttinen eikä värihäiriöitä olisi, niin immersio on taattu. Valitettavasti 800R kaarevuus vaatii että näyttöä katsoo aika tarkasti 80 cm etäisyydeltä. Kauemmas siirtymällä saisi kompensoitua paneelin virheitä ja matalaa pikselitiheyttä. Kauempaa katsottuna kuvan reunat ovat lähempänä silmää kuin näytön keskiosa, joten syntyy outo putkinäköilmiö.

Ensimmäisen tunnin testauksen jälkeen oli selvää, että palautukseen menee. 34" koossa 3440x1440 resoluutio on selvästi parempi valinta. Hieman puntaroin uskaltaisiko kokeilla 39" kokoa.

Absolutely superb monitor. I’ve used it a lot for about an equal split of gaming and data analysis work and it’s been perfect. Movies are really immersive (opening scene of TDK and the Hong Kong scene felt like when I saw it at the iMax). For sim racing it’s just super immersive, the curve just seems to fill your view perfectly.

Highly recommended monitor, you won’t be disappointed.

Saw a lot of reviews mention the PPI but it’s genuinely not been something I’ve noticed in work or play.
