I'm satisfied with the priner, but the set up was cumbersome

It works well

It was relatively simple to set up and once i realized I needed to upgrade the software it was easy to connect to Wifi

Only reservation is that does not expand or contract the image

This was delivered on 9/9/2025. Been fine for my needs

I bought this a few weeks ago but so far I am very pleased with it. I am not a heavy user but print quality is good enough - including photos. In the past I have bought cheap HP printers but they are just obsessed with making money out of the printing inks. I much prefer the Brother loading tray to the top feeder on HP. App is good as well. For me, low volume printing that I can easily access using any of my devices without any hassle is exactly what I was looking for

I needed to replace my home printer and, after much research, homed in on the Brother DCP-J1200WE. Although I've only had it a week I'm certainly not disappointed. Installation was straightforward (via USB), operation simple, and print quality quite acceptable for light home use. So far I'm very pleased with the product - I seem to have made the right choice! I just hope my satisfaction continues with more use.

Worst printer I have ever bought. Cant scan to email without using the app, which I really did not want to do. Ink lasts no time at all and is very expensive. Printing is slow and cant do automatic double sided printing. No troubleshooting guide from laptop connection so have to look for it. For the money I expceted a great deal more and quality of printer is average too. I wished I bought a cheaper Canon.

I bought this Brother printer after having a frustrating experience with another brand. This caused me a lot of stress. I decided to start again with this Brother printer. This is exactly what I needed and I have had no problems with it.

I am delighted, thank you Brother!

Incidentally, my first experience with Brother was a sewing machine bought in my teens, many years ago!

Very reliable and after printing about two hundred pages no sign of ink wearing out.

I purchased a Brother DCP J1200W to replace a Brother A3 size printer which has served me well for about 15 years being worked very hard during that time. I was initially apprehensive about using an A4 size machine but after a day or so after installing all that apprehension disappeared due to the easy setup, reliabilty and quality of the DCP J1200W which sits comfortably on my work surface.

I bought this to replace a HP Deskjet printer and am delighted i did.

This printer is just what I needed. Dead easy to set up Nice and quiet and really easy to replace the printer cartridges.

Very happy with the printer, having struggled so long with our last one. So far it has been reliable and quick . Seems quite economical in ink usage too.

This printer is slow and often refuses to print until you turn the power off and back on. It says ink is low but no indicator of which colour. There is no option to print booklet style.

Would not buy again.

I bought this because for the price it was the most economical printer around. You can be sure when it comes to Brother they are not only a worthwhile printer to invest in but also a very economical printer too.

Although I'm not churning out page after page on a daily or weekly basis, having it here has been so convenient that I can print something so quickly and get the results I need.

Having had both Canon and HP printers in the past and actually worked at a Cartridge Wr;d franchise to, I know that everything will be perfect for my needs.

I also love the in-depth ink display showing not only whats in the cartridge but whats inside the printer itself showing you that you won't get into the need for head cleaning.

I bought this machine 9 months ago because I saw a good review. I found the ink difficult to find. I never knew whether it had run out of ink or the printheads were clogged up, because it didn't communicate. I printed my Christmas cards with difficulty, an e-book, some sheet music and some song lyrics then I gave up and scrapped it. There are other printers on the market which communicate a lot better.

I bought this Brother printer because another make I had bought had faults and had to be returned. I found the Brother to be excellent in Printing text and pictures. My only complaint is that unlike other makes I have had it constantly blows ink out of the cartridges and empties them so I have to take them out when not using it to maintain the ink. As the ink costs almost the same as a printer it is not economically good

Bought this 2 months ago simple to set up no problems with WiFi never had any problems printing would highly recommend

Since owning it I have found it super easy to use and especially easy when using the app. I am fairly familiar with tech items and the only surprising aspect was a recent software update which seemed to block my ability to print/ scan until the software was refreshed first.

The quality of print is satisfactory, takes a while to get the print from machine.

I am extremely impressed with this Brother printer, it was simple to set up and use, very high quality, I highly recommend it

The printer connected easily to my Wi-Fi and I was able to print through the app pretty easily. However I wanted to sign up to eco pro ink plan but the machine has to be authenticated for this to happen. I tried everything and every instruction from the support line - no joy so reluctantly returned and will look for a different make as a replacement
