Fab tv , excellent all round , sound , picture , buy it

My new Bravia 8A TV set (77 inches) arrived last week. It is a real dream, the image is simply amazing. The sound has great clarity, I can enjoy like never before films, shows, concerts.

When I installed I could not get it to work your Help desk were brilliant very careing and at 85 very patient in the end it was the signal strength despite having recently changed my router I am still not getting sufficent signal so I have connected to an external aerial now works fine but cannot get eveything as I am not connected to the Wi-Fi need to get a booster. Very happy with the picture.

I only installed this three weeks ago, upto now it has met our expectations, sound is good as is picture. Although I think a theatre system would be good with it. Our room is 6mtrs x 4.5mtrs with vaulted ceiling and beams. You very quickly get used to the size and could have gone bigger.

Bravia on ensimmäinen älytelevisiomme, mutta se oli odotuksia helpompi ottaa käyttöön. Osasyy siihen voi tietysti olla, että Sonyn tuotteet ovat tuttuja. Televisio näyttää hyvältä. Kuvanlaatu on erinomainen. Äänikin on hyvä (vaikkakin elokuvat vielä kokeilematta), ja vanha Sonyn soundbar toimii erinomaisesti television parina. Jonkin verran on ongelmia kaukosäätimen käytössä: tuntuu, että oikeaa suuntausta joutuu hakemaan. Sovelluksia on tarjolla melkeinpä liikaakin, mutta sieltä varmaan löytyvät myöhemmin omat suosikit.

This TV coupled with a theatre 6 sound system should be amazing. Unfortunately the sound is always falling out of sync with the picture, requiring a TV re-boot to get the sound and picture synchronised again. For what this set up cost, this constant aggravation is unacceptable.

The software is terrible. All sorts of glitches. Has been repaired by Dony after only 6 months. And it still has glitches!!!!!

Giving 4 stars because I haven't found all the right settings yet, but it's a really nice piece of equipment.

I did not get a demonstration from delivery men so don’t know how to use it well I am 83 and no instructions either my daughter had to print all 144 pages off.

Had this tv a couple of weeks now. Superb picture quality and sound is incredible for such a slim tv. No sound bar needed.

Swapped from Samsung to Sony about 3 months ago and wished I had kept my 3 year old Samsung. Picture is good on the Sony but I have tried many settings to get the sound to sync with my freesat box and ps5, its ok to start but drifts out over a short period, so I have to turn off and on to get it syncing again.

TV looks nice. Sound is tinny and within a month of buying the tv we had five different updates to download. Every time we download these updates it throws out the sound synching the sound is sometimes up to a second ahead of the mouth of the person on the tv. It, eventually, corrects itself but it spoils the 'experience, of watching such an expensive tv.

Terrific picture quality and excellent sound. The build quality is excellent and the choice of placement of the feet to accommodate a sound bar is a good piece of design.

Replaced my old Tv.

This new one is so much brighter faster and good sound.

Got this TV a couple of weeks ago and am happy with it so far. The picture quality is great and so is the sound from the inbuilt speakers. 55" is the perfect size for me. Two different remotes so you can take your pick at any given moment, good user interface and apps.

We've had the tv about six weeks and although the picture quality is fantastic there is an issue where on a couple of occasions the picture freezes and then the tv reboots itself. I've carried out various 'fixes' that have been suggested on different forums but so far nothing seems to have worked.

What a fantastic TV, lovely picture quality, easy set up and works great with Sky.

Good value for money at 1500 GBP for the 65"

This TV replaced a 20 year old Sony which finally died. I am very pleased with the replacement which has a load of features new to me. It was a breeze to install new apps (TV channels in old speak) and the picture quality was great, as I have come to expect from a Sony product. The sound system is greatly improved over the old one. one slight niggle is the inability to install apps that are currently not suggested by the system. Perhaps i've not fouuns out how to do this yet.

I’m really impressed with my Sony BRAVIA 8. The picture quality is fantastic, with deep blacks, vibrant colours and excellent detail. Everything looks incredibly sharp and cinematic, especially when watching movies and 4K content.

The TV also has a great design and feels very premium. The Google TV interface is easy to use, and the overall performance has been smooth and responsive.

Overall, the Sony BRAVIA 8 is a brilliant TV and has made watching films, sports and everyday content a much more enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!
