[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it works, the sound quality is genuinely very good and it is a clear upgrade over the TV speakers. Initial pairing with the LG TV was also straightforward.

The problem is reliability and day to day usability. Power on behaviour is temperamental. Sometimes turning on the TV does not properly wake the soundbar, so I end up needing the soundbar remote to switch it on or prod it into the right input. On top of that, the TV occasionally needs to be reconnected over Bluetooth again, and the audio mode can randomly change from the expected TV plus Bluetooth setup to Bluetooth only.

In practice, this defeats the main point of an integrated setup. Ideally I should be able to use a single remote and have everything just work, but it often feels like I have to use both the TV remote and the soundbar remote to get consistent audio.

Controls are also not very user friendly. I can adjust balance on the TV, but I would expect a proper webOS app or deeper integration that lets me control the soundbar settings directly on screen. Instead I am left fiddling with a small remote and awkward voice style menus, which is not what I expect from a premium product.

Brilliant audio hardware, but the software integration and control experience need improvement.

I was looking for a soundbar that wouldn’t break the bank, and the LG US60TR has been a pleasant surprise. For its price, it delivers impressive performance, adding a much fuller and richer sound compared to my TV’s built-in speakers. Dialogue is generally clear, though I can see the benefit of stepping up to a model with a dedicated center channel if vocal clarity is a top priority. Overall, for the cost, it’s hard to fault—great value and a noticeable upgrade for everyday viewing.

At its price point, this is a steal. Sound quality is excellent. Very decent bass... I'll recommend any day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is really nice, the picture is crisp and clear and with the soundbar combination works well. The menu is very similar to our other LG TV so it was really easy to get used to.

The one thing I read was 2025 TV's were going to be compatible with Freely but if it does it is not available just yet. This is the only gripe I have as I did make the decision to buy an LG TV based on this.

As I get older I find audio words hard to follow, especially when it is American drool or mumbling. This LG system is great and clear. But just a change on this flexible system , allows us to get all the bangs and crashes needed to get a movie cinema experience. Also when I want to watch Arsenal - I can change the sound for a Stadium experience .......Brilliant !

I purchased this soundbar to use with my LG Oled tv. It connects easily and the sound is good I have issues with the on screen tv settings which impact the soundbar. One of my reasons for purchasing this soundbar is that I thought that it is WOW compatible with my 48 inch LG OLED evo AI C4 4K Smart TV 2024 however I have been unable to use this feature. I think that this all comes down to the TV settings menu. Maybe its me but I have not been unable to find how to set the balance and volume for the rear speakers. Maybe next time I will buy an ATMOS soundbar
