works, but a little antiquated/weirdArvosana 3/5
The setup was quite challenging, but with an hour of trying and reading through other people's comments here, I got it to work.
The receiver does it's basic functions (show TV channels) good enough but not especially well, for example changing channels is very slow, and big parr of the screen is filled with an ugly gray box only half filled with information (however it will be readable on a small TV). The program guide is ok but not pretty. Otherwise the software on this thing is quite funny and packed with surprisingly many useless features: it gets time zones wrong, also doesn't know summer time, has 10 (!) timers to do funny things like wake you up in the middle of the night, and the whole video recording features seem to work ok but their controls are just rather odd. You can feel how a small group (or a single?) programmers had way too many ideas and fun creating features rather than making the basic functions nicer.
