Still getting used to my new machine - but am producing better coffees each time! Getting the temp, tamper and crema better now. Auto milk frother is a god-send.

Good price, simple to use, quality product, that makes good coffee.

So far automatic setting to make froth is good but found difficult to make good froth by manual setting.

Good espresso and feels very well built for its size. It heats up fast and the steam wand works well once you get used to it.

The wand is alright too though strange that it needs to be so horizontal when manually used, would prefer it more upright.

Ok, so it looks super cute on the bench top, with such a small footprint, good enough reason to buy it.

However, buy this if you're looking for the easiest way to make Cafe quality coffee out of the box, seriously.

Start with fresh beans, set the brew temp to suit the roast, for me it is the second setting, and hit the espresso button for a perfect extraction, every time.

The 51mm portafilter basket I think gives better extraction than my previous machines 58mm. The 51 offers a deeper basket, which produces a much richer extraction.

I've changed the 2 cup espresso, so the extraction is down from 60mls to 40mls, so no longer enough for 2 cups, but a true double shot, but try the single basket first, it won't disappoint. Easy to adjust, or simply use out of the box.

The milk frother works well enough with 3 foam and 3 heat settings, or easy to use in manual mode. The automatic might not give you Cafe perfect milk, but it constantly gives very good milk.

I do my milk first, then the espresso, I think it gives a better coffee than the other way around.

This is one great machine (so very cute), don't hesitate to buy, you won't be disappointed. DeLonghi are very, very good to deal with directly.

We haven’t used it yet. We have an existing manual machine which this will replace and it looks great and has good features for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this product for a month now and I only have two critiques; firstly, the coffee doesn't get quite as hot as I would like, even though you can change the temperature settings. Secondly, one of the baskets has become blocked after only a month of making two coffees per day. I've also noticed there's always water left in the basket (that could be a me problem!).

                  The additional settings on this compared to the Maestro Manual may not be worth it however, compared to the one friends own, this machine feels solid and well made. I purchased a milk frothing jug and knock box to match and am glad I did. It's quick, easy to use, and looks great on the bench.
                  One absolute plus is that it has little grip handles underneath so it's easy to pull forward if you have it tucked under cabinets on the bench.

It makes perfect smooth hot coffee and we just love the way the milk frother works - it will make the frothiest coffee that you have ever had in a ‘home’ coffee machine. Just delicious coffee from this machine. It’s only a small machine but don’t let that throw you - superb coffee. We always take it away with us when we go caravan ing as it is quite compact - you can take it anywhere. What would we do without our Delonghi Dedica Maestro Plus. Honestly, we just love it!

It's huge improvement, with a better drainage tray, preventing rust at the base of the machine. Automatic milk frother mean I can make coffee with one hand while on the phone..lol Much stronger steam pressure.

                  This is the third model I've purchased and I feel the improvements will help the machine last much longer.

What's so good is the buttons on the top make it clear for preference of setting as well as having a choice of manual or automatic frother. This will help to get the technique down packed for future coffee making.
