[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect fit for thinkpad x1. I put my laptap in it before i put it in my brifcase. The laptop does not rest on the corners of the sleeve so it has a lot of protection, slim enough to insert in my briefcase compartment, and i like the magnet closure. There is also a slot on the side wherein you can insert some peperwork in it. I recommend the sleeve, paired with thinkpad x1.

The extra length and width prevents it from fitting into a medium-sized bag for easy transport—one of the things I liked best about the laptop in the first place.

The magnet is strong, but it should fold back on itself and be closer to the form factor of the laptop. The thickness is enough to protect from scratches but less from a major fall. However, it will protect it from a minor fall, so most cases. I could not recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well-built, fits my X1 Carbon 14" perfectly, but I didn't feel confident about the magnetic closure, so returned it. I wish they bring back the ThinkPad Ultra sleeve from a few years back. That felt sleek and easier to use.

Also, for my commute to office, I think I prefer the zipper, the extra zipper compartment, and the handle of the regular ThinkPad sleeve, so I kept that one, and returned the Professional version.

When scrolling up/down using the touchpad it is not very effective. The cursor freezes, skips, moves to top or bottom of the screen.
